Stopped here for lunch while passing through, very friendly staff, good quality food and a good size portion, would definitely recommend does a great takeaway service as well, also has outdoor seating.

Welcoming wonderful cafe. Cakes wow. Wonderful donuts and traybakes and muffins. Chicken and leek soup perfection. Just a wow place. Highly recommended. No toilet but there are accessible toilet public toilets nearby. A must visit for this wow cafe.

Stopped by at random for a light lunch and had the most delicious haggis pannini I have ever had in my life. Honestly have no idea how they elevated the humble pannini to being so delicious but they pulled it off! Lovely side salad too with fresh strawberries, ace ♥️

High St, New GallowayAfter a great morning walking in the Galloway Forest, we called in at the CatStrand. Wow, what a gem of a place.its a gift shop with interesting books and art. But the best surprise is the cafe. Serving the best haggis and baked potato ever! We have called their butcher to buy more haggis.They have a nice selection of local beers to wash down a haggis lunch Also, check out their entertainment evenings. We will be back!
