Me and my wife visited Dalscone farm, from the USA and the owner of the farm advised us to eat at the restaurant, for both of our food was so amazing(very/very great) service/facility was also great, best food we've had away from the states, too bad can't stop in all the time, maybe be next time, keep up the awesome work.

Nice cafe at the lighthouse with amazing views. Staff friendly and the sausage barm we had was nice. Just a real shame that dogs are not allowed in any part of the cafe. It was quiet when we went with only 6 cars in the car park and 5 of those had dogs with them including ours. We would have gone again but just too cold at beginning of March to sit outside.

Very nice restaurant mixing classic/ modern British and European cuisine. Although for a Saturday evening in August was quiet, it seems this style of restaurant would do far better in somewhere like Bristol or Manchester or a more fashionable rural area such as Cornwall, mid-Somerset (I.e., Wells), the Welsh borders or Aberystwyth where there will be far more more foody clientele/ customers and where the chef could be more adventurous

I have had some good Italian food but the balsamic and small details in the food are great. The wine menu is okay but this is a little town and would it be worth it. Dessert was good too, personal choice would be sharper lemons on the cheesecake, but that is just me! Well done! Great food and you know your market.
