The best restaurants in Land Caithness Ward Highland Highlands and Islands

A little gem tucked away just off the A9. Great food, lovely friendly staff and a wonderful ambience. Thank you we will be back next June.

Wir haben hier sowohl auf der Hinfahrt als auch auf der Rückfahrt zu Fähre auf/von den Orkneys einen kurzen Zwischenstopp und einen kleinen Imbiss eingenommen. Kaffee und Tee sind gut, ebenso die herzhaften und süßen Kleinigkeiten auf der Karte. Besonders lecker fand ich die schottische Fischsuppe (Cullen Skink), die ich auf der Rückfahrt gegessen habe. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung muss ebenfalls hervorgehoben werden.

¡Fantástica visita a la panadería de Annie! El personal era muy amable y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. La comida era simplemente deliciosa, porciones tan grandes y bien valorado. Hicimos un viaje especial para visitar la panadería de Annie y no decepcionó, sin duda lo recomendaría. Jack the Clydesdale fue un bonus añadido, es solo el gigante más gentil 🥰

We were amazed at the welcome we were given,the crab we bought so fresh and tasty and the crab brioche we ate at the pier was wonderful, we will be back for more. We loved it. Thank you

Otra visita más aquí para almorzar y como de costumbre no decepcionado. El personal amable y experto encantador, las comidas llegaron pronto y disfrutado por todos. Estaba más ocupado de lo habitual, así que me alegro de que habíamos hecho una reserva como la gente estaba siendo rechazado. Recomiendo encarecidamente venir aquí para una comida.

We visited here several times previously before the present owners took over. Sadly, women I visited today the place has changed.Only three diners in house, but the staff did not say hello or ask if they could help.i left without a word. The items on offer seem fewer than previously and it seemed to lack the atmosphere we once enjoyed

Precioso restaurante! ¡La pizza es divina y su tarta de queso también! ¡Buena porción también! Sin duda recomiendo la comida y el restaurante. Personal muy amable y servicial! ¡He visto que ahora están tristemente cerrados! Destripado ahora que había encontrado mi restaurante favorito y la comida! Espero que vuelvan a abrir pronto!

Great home cooked food, not cheap but you get what you pay for as you can tell effort goes into the cooking and presentation. Had a few visits and will continue.

Absolutely great. Staff down to earth, called on the off chance they had a table for food. They squeezed us in when there was a couch party there. The food was great and plenty of it. Left full and happy. Would recommend, but call and book first. Will definitely be back if in the area.

Het gebouw zag er van buitenaf uit alsof het gesloten was, maar toen we dichterbij kwamen zagen we toch licht branden. En gelukkig zijn we naar binnen gegaan! We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en hebben heerlijke burgers gegeten. We kozen voor een visburger en een burger met kip en bacon. Allebei super lekker! En de frietjes die je erbij krijgt zijn ook heerlijk en vers. Er stond een leuk muziekje aan en de ruimte was mooi ingericht. Vanbinnen is het dus een stuk gezelliger dan de buitenkant zou verwachten. Het restaurant heeft geen alcohol licentie, maar als je toch een biertje of wijntje wil drinken, dan kan je deze bij de supermarkt tegenover kopen en meenemen naar het restaurant. Echt een aanrader! We hebben hier een super vriendelijk ontvangst gekregen en de lekkerste burgers gegeten van onze hele reis door Schotland!

In London for C2C Festival and coincided with 50th Birthday celebrations 🥳🍾🥂 Requested a table and was duly fulfilled. Staff went out of their way to make it memorable. Great times with friends, plenty of prosecco and country tunes 🎶 and of course a bourbon or 2! Thanks to Dave for the personal touch and ensuring it all went to plan. A HUGE shout out to Vlad and Sharon for the birthday 🥃 and taking care of us on the day. We've been attending the C2C Festival since it started in 2013 and All Bar One is always our go to place. Thanks again to the whole team and we hope to see y'all in 2026! 🤠 FYI it falls on the birthday weekend again! Just saying! 😉🎊🍾🥳
