My favourite place for brunch and lunch in Caithness. The team are very friendly and the spaces are always immaculately presented. Lovely wee farm shop with local produce and gift ideas for loved ones. The setting is stunning - modern but cosy and homely. Thank you G&T for everything you do, keep up the great work. Caithness is lucky to have you.

We arrived at a very busy time but were slotted in. Although the Gluten Free fryer wasn’t working the staff managed to create a beautiful gluten free meal. They were knowledgeable about coeliacs and pointed out my husband’s meal may have gluten. (He’s not a coeliac). His beef burger was the best he has ever had. (Sadly it has spoiled him for all others.). Beautiful setting, lovely people. Can’t recommend more highly.

We were at Noss for a short break and were determined to return to Puldagon as it was so good last time, we were not disappointed. We had a late lunch one day which was so filling there was no need for dinner and went back the next morning for breakfast. All food is delicious, hot, good quality and I can only say you have to go if nearby - lucky those who live here who can go as often as they like! Lovely friendly people working here too. Go you will not be sorry.

We’d been meaning to visit here for the four years we’ve lived in Caithness. We hadn’t booked and turned up at what looked a busy time. We were greeted with a friendly young man who got the owner. She then asked staff to set us up a table on the ground floor. We then were seated in a lovely spot with menus and a drinks order. I had the highlands beef burger special and my wife the chicken goujons child’s portion. The drinks arrived promptly followed shortly by the food. The food was amazing. Very well presented. Really tasty and very generous portions. We were asked if everything was ok with the food and if we wanted any sauces. We asked for tomato ketchup and quickly presented with some satchels on a saucer. After our meal we paid in the shop area. We had a lovely chat with the owner and then looked around the shop. The restaurant and shop are on an active farm and you are free to walk to the fields and farm. So we strolled down to see the new born lambs. We walked by the beautiful stream that runs through the farm. Had a stroke of a few lambs, took pictures and then returned to the shop to buy a wool hat for my wife. It was a very pleasant first visit and we felt refreshed and invigorated. Will definitely return to this lovely place.

From start to finish this was a most enjoyable visit. I was naughty and had a cheeky prosecco which was excellent. The menu had plenty to choose from including some specials. We sat upstairs with a view over the farm. Service was prompt and the good when it arrived was piping hot beautiful presented and delicious. We bought cakes to take away and share with the family. Lovely farm shop downstairs with lots of goody's. Price was good and the whole building was spotlessly clean. The farm outside has a Highland coo, horses, sheep and much more. Well done everyone involved.

We had such a fun experience visiting Puldagon on our North Coast 500 tour! It’s a fantastic family-owned farm with a restaurant and farm shop full of locally produced goodies. The food was incredible, staff just wonderful, and we had a blast wandering around looking at all the hairy coos and petting their sweet little farm cat haha! Puldagon has been owned and worked by the same family since the 1920s - it’s a gorgeous farm in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands and we just loved our time there! It’s very remote and very far north - we were lucky to visit during our North Coast 500 tour with a local, eco-friendly small-group tour (with Rabbies) that focus on supporting local businesses. Our tour guide reserved a table for our group here for lunch and it was phenomenal!! They have quite a large menu and also daily specials. My hubby got the spicy chicken wings which were delicious - had a perfect kick to them and were cooked wonderfully. It came with fries and salad. Now - I adore all creatures - big and small - and while I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all their adorable Highland Cows, I still couldn’t resist trying their Highland Burger - which is made from their own cattle here at the farm. Highland beef is famous for being amazing and I just had to try it - it certainly lived up to its reputation- it was a fabulous burger! It also comes with fries and salad - highly recommend (if you’re not squeamish about things like that lol)! Prices are reasonable here and the gift shop has so many interesting local offerings - definitely worth a browse. After lunch be sure to have a nice walk around - it’s fun to see all the animals - especially the cute cows! But keep in mind that it is very much a working farm and they don’t allow access to the animals for petting/interactions without permission. They also have a very sweet farm cat - very friendly and definitely won’t hesitate to beg you for a bite of your lunch haha!! It’s a restaurant sure, but it felt like eating at a family’s home - we met one of the owners - we felt so welcome! Fabulous people and fantastic food! We feel very lucky to have had the chance to visit!

This really is a lovely place, with wonderful helpful staff, and amazing views. But it is badly let down by the food. The tomato soup resembled a tin of chopped tomatoes with undercooked carrots. The cullen skink was watery, with undercooked potatoes, and very little haddock (and at £8.50 a time, it needs to be so much better). We decided not to have anything else. We really wanted to like this place, but there are many better places to eat in the Wick area.

What an absolute gem of a place!! Not only an amazing lunch with the very best service (my husband said it's the BEST burger he has had while visiting Scotland) but also the beauty of the place, a lovely wee shop with lots of treats, the animals are a joy to see for kids and adults alike, the horses all came over for a wee nose and a pet. The new salon and barn would make for an amazing party space and the atmosphere and scenery are incredible. By far the BEST lunch we've had in the Highlands.

I finally made it here even though I live not too far away. I cycled here via the Camster Wind Farm/Blingery Forest path & its a short distance ( ½ mile) from the path end at the Blingery side. Service was very good & friendly & it was a busy Sunday dinner time I was in. I went for the wild garlic quiche & chips & salad. Very nice served with the side of chutney! I really like how they are incorporating some wild foraged ingredients into some of their dishes. Food was well presented & an interesting side salad. Only thing I'd say is the quiche & chips could've been just a touch warmer. Food was out very quick despite being quite busy too. Coffee was lovely as well. Farm shop downstairs was very good as well. Had I not been on the bike I might have had more of a look around & bought some items. Next time! Would like to try the veggie breakfast sometime too. Will be recommending Puldagon to guests & visitors. 👍

It's worth taking a detour off the main road to find this little gem; at first it feels like you're driving into someone's back garden and arriving just after 10am on a Saturday we weren't sure it was open, but once we got inside we were pleased to find it was, and that the upstairs seating area is absolutely lovely with great views over the surrounding countryside through the big windows. There's a huge amount of choice for breakfast and we both went for the full cooked option, veggie (with no egg) for me. Each one comes with 8/9 items and both were absolutely delicious, some of the best we've had in fact. Good quality ingredients, well cooked, and with an effort made to make the veggie option as full and varied as the meat one. All the staff were lovely and friendly too, and despite it getting surprisingly busy for the time of year we didn't have to wait too long for our food either. The cakes also looked amazing but sadly we had no room left, this time! We were really impressed and will definitely be back whenever we're up that way. We might consider booking if we can though, to ensure we get a spot; I imagine in the summer, especially for lunch, it can get full. Highly recommended.

We went for a late lunch today, a random Thursday in October, so hoped we would get a table no bother after all the good things we'd heard about the place. The way in wasn't immediately obvious, nor the directions to more tables upstairs, so...

On our holiday in Glenelg we popped into this cafe, which is popular with both locals and visitors. We only had coffee, but the food on offer looked very tasty. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking nearby. Overall a nice place for a snack. Highly recommend.

Lucky to find that dinner was available on one of the nights. The meal was excellent. Extremely well cooked, presented and served. Don't miss the opportunity to eat there if you can. Elaine is a great cook/chef.

This place is a hidden gem! We were driving by and found it by chance. The crispy chicken burger was really tasty. My kids loved the nachos and loaded fries. The food quality and taste were amazing, and the prices were very affordable. If you’re in the area, it's a must-try, and the view from the place is breathtaking.
