Nice café with good products at fair prices, but unfortunately absolutely disastrous service. You wait forever for your order, despite asking, and the tables are full of used dishes. Instead of in cups and on plates, our order ended up in environmentally unfriendly disposable packaging. Tip: order takeaway straight away, as guests with to-go orders are given priority. This saves a lot of time and hassle and there are no pretty dishes anyway.

Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes for the tea while the rest of the order was not fulfilled at all. Probably just an unlucky situation, reading the otherwise good reviews. 2 stars for the nice view and ambience.

We popped into Cafe Tioram on the way back from Tioram Castle this Easter. The service was very friendly. Food was all well cooked. Catered for gluten free diet. 7 of us popped in there recently and we all had different things to eat. The place was pretty busy (a large table with remnants of Christmas decorations had to be quickly cleared for us) and we were attended to fairly quickly. The food when it came was delicious - generous portions (no shortage of filling in the sandwiches) and very well priced for the quality. The two staff whom we saw were very pleasant.

Absolutely superb. Pass it by and it’s you’re loss. Cracking looking wee place and it doesn’t disappoint, looks small from the outside but it’s like a Tardis inside, lots of tables, not too cramped. It’s bright, clean and looks fab inside. The menu has soup, breakfasts, breakfast rolls, sandwiches, toasties, light snacks and salads. My wife is a veggies and usually hard to please and she was well happy with the goats cheese salad. The soup, leek and tattie was just what was needed on a damp cold day, toasties and sandwiches all came with tasty coleslaw and potato salad which from what I could make out were both homemade. The coffees were top notch as was my daughter’s hot chocolate. Cakes, which again I’m sure were home made were fantastic, as was the scone with jam. All seems to come from a tiny kitchen so hats off to the pan rattler. The front of house staff were very polite and friendly. To top it all of it wasn’t expensive, less than £40 for 3 of us.

Cracking place, plenty of parking, bigger inside than it looks, lots of tables and not too cramped. Menu has something for everyone, breakfasts and breakfast rolls, soup, toasties, sandwiches. We had a selection of them all between us and all agreed the food was fab. Soup was thick and hearty, sandwiches, toastie and the veggie member of out party had the goats cheese salad and gave it the thumbs up. We had the Coffees, teas and hot chocolate, they were all brill and the cakes were a delight. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Staff were friendly and polite, the place is spotlessly clean. Couldn’t fault it, great value for money too. If you’re anywhere in Ardnamurchan then you have to go.

I wouldn’t recommend ordering a coffee…. burnt coffee with milk that was steamed to death (think 90’s style!) and scolding hot…burnt my tongue on the first sip. It was a young girl who probably just needs a little training - a real shame the owners aren’t more on top of this. … judging by all the other good reviews I must have just come on a bad day….

Found this place when just passing, and glad we stopped. It was only coffee and cake but the coffee was good and strong, and I tried the blueberry Victoria sponge. The cake was top notch and yet it was not expensive, something rare these days. Judging by how busy it was, it is clearly popular localy and its not surprising looking at some of the food other customers were getting. Definately rate it.

Stopped for breakfast on our way from Tobermory to Aviemore and weren't disappointed! A huge plateful of piping hot, thick-cut bacon, Stornoway black pudding (again a lovely thick slice), proper sausages, egg, beans, tomato and (a nice addition) clootie dumpling. Vintage crockery and a clock that runs anti-clockwise (but still tells the correct time) made it all nicely quirky. Service was friendly and helpful. Husband asked for mustard and it was nicely served in a small dish, as was some jam to go with the plentiful toast.
