The best restaurants in Inverness Millburn Highland Highlands and Islands

We had 2 Sunday carvery and a chicken tikka and pudding great service and quick service

We stayed in a nearby hotel and decided to dine & have drinks here as it was only a few minutes walk so no need for buses or taxis on cold winter evenings. We dined here three nights and have no complaints about any of the food we ordered. However the drink mixer (diet coke) was on the expensive side when compared to our local hostelries. That said, the Snowgoose is a firm favourite with us and we will visit again.

Manager decided that the store didn't need to open until 1 hour after the opening time. This has happened for the last 2 days. Food was spot on but after being told to wait 20 more minutes multiple times, it really lost its appeal. Disappointed to say the least.

Food was tasty however, for £12 plus per person the portions apart from the half chicken were really not big and that may make the difference of ordering with you again especially when very hungry!

Have been for breakfast which was ok. A little bit cooler than I'd like but ok. Lunch was not great. Mac n cheese with chips, had to pay extra for chips, they were ok. Mac n cheese however was not great. No sauce, no cheese and very dry. Would never order it again. Expensive for what I had.

Fine for what it is - popped in for a quick meal with the family and it did what you would expect -nothing phenominal, but quick and tasty. 1/2 portions were fine.

We stayed here for 4 nights, rooms and beds were very comfortable. Good place to stay if you have a car, but you'll need a taxi if you don't, because they don't have a shuttle. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were very good too. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We made a visit to the fluke pub in Inverness and we certainly weren’t disappointed with the quality of the food the staff were lovely and our food was so delicious that we are going to be making it a regular treat- the food was hot on arrival and we didn’t wait to long to receive it as the place was very busy- booking it was a great idea as it’s so busy- overall loved the atmosphere and the food bar staff very friendly so overall well done and congratulations on the price it’s to good to be true considering a lot of places now are just so expensive

Where do I start?! I asked for the club sandwich but was told they didn't have all the ingredients, so it was off the menu. I then ordered poached eggs on toast only to be told the poacher was broken so I couldn't order them. So third time lucky I asked for scrambled egg on toast. Not only was the portion size for for a child, it was cold, the toast was burnt, but flipped over so you couldn't see. The eggs were like rubber and tasteless. The whole plate was inedible. The tea was nice. Wont be going back on a hurry. This is my first Google review!

Not had a sandwich from here for awhile but wowzers, I don't know why not! The sandwiches are well worth the money and the little box it comes in is brilliant, highly recommend a visit.
