Fluke Inn in Highland

We ate here the other night. It has certainly gone down hill since the last time we visited. We pre booked online. When we arrived they couldn’t find our booking but checked the computer and found it. As there was no table reserved for us we were stuck in a dark corner in the bar. Our order wasn’t complete and we were finished our meal by the time they came with the missing food. Some of the waitresses were very scruffy and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Very disappointed. We won’t be going back.

Nipped into The Fluke after a long day Xmas shopping for Lunch and Coffee. Never again. Ordered Starters, mains and hot drinks. Starters came out fine. Two of the main meals was the wrong order, Which was fine, we had no rush. Went to take a bite out of the chicken in the baguette and got an overwhelming taste and smell of fish. Absolutley vile. When the waiter came to empty the plates I had only eaten a few chips and we told him about the chicken, It was either off or stored incorrectly in the fridges and was covered in fish juice. Vile. We asked for the bill and we're still charged. The waiters attitude was " If you don't like it then what do you want me to do" It was not the fact that I didn't like it. It was not fit for human consumption. Found it very strange when we questioned being charged for a meal that was rotten the waiter said " Let me check with the kitchen staff".. Apparently as there was a check back nothing could be done. The check back in question was a waitress rushed of her feet asking " Everything ok" after we just got out meals and were putting salt on our chips. Payed and left. Didn't notice until we left That my mother didn't get the Golden Years discount we specifically told the waiter when ordering what menu we were ordering from. I understand fully that Hospitality in the current situation is not easy. Two guest at this table are lengthy hospitality workers and know exactly how the system works. Used to love it in here. Will absolutley never be back. I dont know if Management has changed or something but that was by far the worst Customer service I have ever experienced.

Fantastic food and great it's as good a place to eat as any I have been to in Inverness. My 1st choice from hereonin.

Our young waiter (from Edinburgh ) was very attentive. The service was quick and our meal was delicious and very good value for money. We were very pleasantly surprised and will recommend to family and friends visiting Inverness from Fort William to eat here.

I was in with my friend earlier in the week. Our initial thought was we would be a while for anything as there we couldn't see many staff on. However we were proved wrong, the young lad that was in the restaurant was very attentive and helpful. Our drinks order was taken and within minutes the lady behind the bar had them made and was delivering them. The staff are very polite, and the uniforms are always smart. The food is always top class and we look forward to visiting. The lady that took us our bill, was very cheerful. We were thanked by the young boy before we left for our gratitude towards him.

We had booked a table, not realising the Scotland game was being shown. However the 2 women (Jess and Lorna we think) in the restaurant were very attentive. If we asked a question it was answered very politely and professionally. I had the loaded MacDaddy steak and my partner ordered the Crispy Chilli beef. Both had generous servings. When we had finished we asked for the bill and the nice lady came over with the bill, asked how we would like to pay, the card machine was taken over.I am looking forward to going back again next week, and after a going to try one of the dishes recommend by our server.

Went to meet up with a couple for dinner ordered nachos to share when they came out they were on a small dinner plate.I asked the waiter were they the sharing platter as they looked small he said he had asked the chef the same question. My friend had ordered breaded mushrooms that came out cold. Mains weren't much better sweet chilli beef was hard and not much sauce. The fajitas were very small and the onions and peppers were raw. To top it off we ordered last drinks at 9.25 they arrived at 9.50 then we were told to drink up as they were shutting at 10! I have dined there about 2 months ago and it's a shame their standards have fallen.

Mi amiga tenía el suyo, pero yo había olvidado el mío. Como solo estábamos al otro lado de la calle, dije que vendría a buscarlo, que volvería una vez que lo tuviera. Inmediatamente se disgustó al dar respuestas ágiles, acusándonos de ser groseros. Mi amigo y yo estábamos desconcertados por su respuesta y avergonzados por la escena que hizo. Salimos a buscar mi identificación, pero es seguro decir que no regresamos. No tiene sentido tener un pub encantador si hay gente con actitudes amargas trabajando en él. Ahórrese la molestia y vaya al pub dos puertas más arriba.

Decidimos comer aquí porque estaba cerca de nuestro alojamiento en una noche lluviosa y la mayoría de las críticas eran decentes. Nuestra experiencia fue que el personal fue acogedor y eficiente. Nuestra comida era buena, mi marido disfrutó especialmente su bistec jamón que dijo que era muy bueno. Volveríamos a comer aquí.

Visité aquí en nuestra 1 noche en la calle en Inverness, ya que estaba a 5 minutos a pie de nuestro hotelTuve que descargar una aplicación y, básicamente, ordenar todo a través de eso y luego fue traído a su mesaEl servicio fue excelente, las bebidas trajeron más de 5 minutos después de ordenar. Vine al Fluke con mi papá para cenar esta noche y cuando llegamos, nos pidieron que nos registráramos en línea con el código de escaneo, lo cual fue bastante sencillo. Cuando nos sentamos, la mesa estaba muy tambaleante pero no fue una gran molestia. Todo iba bien, pero podía escuchar a la pareja detrás de mí que estaban tan confundidos acerca de la aplicación que tenían que descargar, y esto también me confundió a mí porque no estaba muy seguro de qué hacer. Así que le pregunté a la señora que nos atendía sobre esta aplicación que obtuviera el 50% de descuento y ella respondió "no necesitas ninguna aplicación, la conseguiré en el bar". Las cosas iban muy bien, la comida era increíble. Comí una hamburguesa y batatas fritas y mi padre comió pescado y patatas fritas, ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida. Sin embargo, una vez que llegamos al bar a pagar, el hombre me pidió el código. Le pregunté qué código de donde me dijo el código de la aplicación. Luego le informé que la señora, que estaba parada a su lado, me dijo que no necesitaba ninguna aplicación y que ella podría hacerlo desde el bar. El tipo dijo que no, necesito la aplicación, y yo dije que eso no es lo que dijo su colega y ella dijo que no es lo que dijo y me puso los ojos en blanco. Entiendo las luchas con la tecnología y la falta de comunicación, pero no quiero que me traten como un cliente que paga poner los ojos en blanco ante sus clientes. ¡Y luego fui a disculparme con el chico por la falta de comunicación y se fue mientras yo hablaba con él! El chico me ayudó con la aplicación y me dijo que su colega no era muy bueno con la tecnología, pero nunca recibí una disculpa. Yo fui el que se disculpó. ¡Esto me dejó absolutamente frustrado y molesto! Ciertamente no quiero volver si así es como el personal trata a sus clientes, lo cual es una pena porque la comida era deliciosa.

Fuimos a The Fluke tres noches consecutivas durante nuestra reciente estancia en Inverness. Nos quedamos muy impresionados con el pub, la comida y el personal. Al entrar al pub, se le pedirá que se desinfecte las manos y que complete la información de seguimiento y rastreo. Se le lleva a su mesa y un miembro del personal toma su pedido de bebidas. El menú es extenso y sería muy difícil complacerlo si no pudieras encontrar algo que te gustara en él. Dos de las noches que estuvimos allí estábamos en el restaurante para ayudar en el plan, así que el pub estaba lleno, pero dicho esto, nuestra espera para las comidas no fue excesiva. La comida era deliciosa y tenía una buena relación calidad-precio, incluso en la noche no salía a comer para ayudar. El personal fue muy amable y muy acogedor. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Inverness.

Dropped in a couple of times with once for food. Food is really pub grub and ok as such. Civid precautions were good as was cleanliness. Good bar service. Staff nice and friendly and Liam was great.

Bueno, ¿qué puedo decir esta noche de desastre de comida? Larga espera para el entrante que estaba bien y luego esperar más tiempo con dos niños hambrientos. 1 hr 15 mjns de orden a principal. Pero los platos principales fueron un desastre. El mar y el césped faltaban aros de cebolla, champiñones y tomate. Se acaba de tirar en un plato. A la mega parrillada le faltaban champiñones, aros de cebolla, tomate y maíz. A la hamburguesa Tandoori le faltaba un bhaji de filete y cebolla. Cuando se quejó, el gerente dijo que habría reemplazado la comida, pero me comí la mitad cuando en realidad faltaba la mitad. Ofrecieron más bebida o pudín, bueno, ya tenía dos bebidas esperando para nuestra comida, así que no quería más y no tenía la intención de dar pudín, ya que teníamos pastel esperando el cumpleaños del niño en casa. Los niños estaban hambrientos, no fue una experiencia agradable esta noche y el gerente fue tan distante. Mi hija pidió niños de abetos de helado mientras todavía estábamos comiendo y nos cobraron de más, el gerente dijo que no teníamos derecho a descuento nuevamente ya que lo obtuvimos cuando lo pedimos cuando, de hecho, estábamos tratando de decir que le cobraron un helado extra. Tenía la impresión de que podía usar el plan tantas veces como quisiera y era parte de nuestra comida. Pero ese no es el problema. El personal de la cocina estaba gritando a los camareros que podíamos oír. No muy profesional y la pobre camarera parecía preocupada por volver a la cocina. No estoy impresionado con The Fluke esta noche. Ni un solo miembro del personal tenía puesto ningún tipo de PPE. El servicio también podría haber sido más amigable, y cuando estropearon uno de nuestros pedidos, nos dijeron que "esta es la nueva versión". . . Sí claro. En general, sentí que las pautas de seguridad no se estaban tomando lo suficientemente en serio.

Hemos visitado aquí varias veces desde que se levantaron las restricciones. Y tengo que decir que el personal está haciendo un trabajo fantástico.Desde saludarte en la puerta, explicar las 'reglas', hasta recordarle a todos los que regresan que se desinfecten las manos, explicando dónde está la puerta de salida.El sábado 8 de agosto estábamos tan contentos con todo lo extra que el personal tiene que hacer que regresamos anoche el martes 11. Y el personal nos reconoció y nos dio la misma cálida bienvenida.Los 2 miembros del personal que se destacaron en ambos días fueron Lorna y Liam. Ambos fueron muy serviciales y muy atentos.Creo que el personal está haciendo un trabajo increíble, el pub todavía tiene un gran ambiente. Volveremos pronto.

I work at the hospital just along the road from The Fluke and its a great place for a wee get together with workmates and friends. Had the bbq chicken burger and it was delicious! Plenty of room for social distancing and great service from staff, will be back soon!!

I was in with a group of friends for some food and drink. The staff were busy but gave us their full attention when we were there. Even with 3 members if staff, the ones who were the shining stars were Liam our server and Lorna on the bar. As the drinks flowed the staff kept a professional attitude if they had to tell us to keep it down a bit(we were a bit loud)

I visited here after a family recommendation. I was looking for a lovely pub to have a bite to eat and relax. So I gave it a shot.Was given a warm welcome by all staff and given a fun down of the 'rules' and shown to my table. The girls that were on looked busy, but I approached the bar and ordered a drink. I was looking for a local beer and the lovely Lorna suggested the Belhaven Best, gave it a try and must say it was nice.Overall even though the staff were busy they made me feel very welcome, can't wait to go back next time I am in Inverness.

The new assistant manager seemed very rude and almost as though she was talking down to me possibly due to my age as I'm 17, but was also very rude when we were leaving shouted at us because we were saying a quick goodbye to some friends. Think she needs a course on customer service

First time eating out somewhere since ‘lockdown’. Was looking forward to it... unfortunately was disappointed. We had booked as thought it might be busy, but it looked like we were only one of two tables having food.Staff were friendly and I was impressed that they were explaining what we could/couldn’t do on entering and asking us to provide our contact detail regarding track and trace.However unfortunately the quality of the food was poor. My ‘Cluckin hot stack’ was very over cooked, outside burnt and chicken was very dry, chips were hot and ok. My friends also had complaints about their meals... steak pie pastry overcooked and hard, fish and chips were nice, but the peas that came with it were cold and the bread served with it was hard. My friend complained about about the bread, but the replacement came back just the same. Also the tea she asked for was cold when it arrived and she had to return that as well.It was a shame as we were all looking forward to lunch out together for the first time in ages.

Lovely family meal at the fluke tonight. Food was fantastic and great service from all staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Me and the family live locally and headed to the usual for a cheap cheerful meal at wetherspoons. On this day in August it was closed . So thought its been a few years since we tried the fluke .We had stopped going a few years back just because of the quality of food and service.What a change !!!Warmly welcomed in, asked had we booked a table which sadly we hadn't. However they found us a table and handed us some menus.I attempted to use the app, but because of some small technical issues we ordered from the bar. However I later used the app without issue later in the visit. Meals were promptly brought out.The wife mentioned how friendly the manageress and cook had been with our bairns. Especially our eldest who is autistic and hard to understand. They gave him time which is so important.Both servers wher brilliant and I recognised from the last time we had visited. Like before they were both friendly and couldn't help enoughThe food itself was very good for the money. Burgers were great, kids finished their meals and the wife enjoyed her food.Delighted wetherspoons was shut as it gave us the chance to come back.Delighted we didThanks all. Will be back soon

Called The Fluke to book for dinner. Phone was answered very professionally by a member of staff called Lorna. The food was top class and very reasonably priced. The girl behind the bar Lorna, who I assumed had taken our booking was very professional and helpful.

This inn looks nice, actually walked before ordering food. Manageress attatude was terrible. She needs to go on an hospitality course, she was rude and not helpful atol. Owners of this Inn should be worried can't see it lasting.

Nice wee pub. Good food. Staff is friendly. I always tend to go for their fajitas since we don't have many Mexican options in Inverness. Decent drinks too. Nice place to meet on a Friday after work.

was in on the 11 of march and the stake was great came out fairly quick even though it seemed busy great work by the chefs and bar staff was nice as well

Food is great and not to expensive either I had the chilli beef was better than the Chinese I would use, definitely going back.

We were a party of six adults, two adolescents and three very hungry children. We thought that it would be a good idea to sample something original to Inverness. We arrived about an hour and a half before their closing time. And a waitress proceeded to give us a large table that accommodated all of us. Something triggered the manager and/or owner who instructed the waitress to inform us that since the waiting time for food was roughly an hour we better go somewhere else. We did not say anything and just left. On our way out a couple of smelly barflies gave us dirty looks.Now, something about us. We were a large group but all of the children are well educated and have proper manners. Four of the adults are physicians and the other two hold doctorate degrees in music and nutrition. We are all American citizens, and trust me, we are many times more hygienic than the pub locals. What they did was rude and uncalled for. I hope that this review dissuades decent tourist families from even stepping inside this dark business. The barflies can keep it all for themselves.

I stopped in to The Fluke for a bite to eat before I started work at 5pm.

Well priced, generous portions and well cooked. There’s a good menus that covers all tastes and appetites.

We all enjoyed a well cooked meal at very reasonable prices even before we benefited from the special January discount. Staff friendly and efficient. Cosy table in the corner, nice atmosphere. Only wee gripe was that one of our four steaks had quite a bit of gristle which our server apologised for after my husband mentioned it.

The cabbie Michael who fetched us from the airport recommended this spot and we loved it so much we went there both nights we were in Inverness.

Arrived at the fluke on Thursday 14th November at 8:40 knowing they stopped serving at 9pm. Sat down and went up to the bar to order promptly by 9:45 and was then rudely ,by one of the bar tenders, refused service as the kitchen was closed. Might want to make sure you arrive at least an hour before end of service so you can actually get food!!

I went for lunch with my friend. We ordered fish and chips and a baguette.When the fish and chips arrived the fish was very flat with no filling. We complained to the waitress and asked if it was haddock as it looked nothing like one and that my friend couldn’t eat it, she said she would ask the kitchen staff and that was the last we heard of it. We should of been offered a discount. Very disappointed ☹️

There were 12 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. They catered admirably for dietary requirements and although the service was a wee bit slow, the staff were friendly, helpful and keen to please. The menu was good with lots of variety, the food was well cooked and nicely presented and the cost was surprisingly low for the quality. I can recommend a visit.,

Popped in for a meal with my two kids . Staff attentive and friendly . Food was perfect had the scampi and chips and kids had burgers . Chef was spot on with the food.

Have had opportunity to eat here a few times now, with it being close proximity to Raigmore Hospital- it’s a welcome reprieve from hospital surroundings in between appointments.

As an avid ambassador for this lovely wee pub, I went tk try the new menu. Chicken Platter was delicious, friend had the cluck burger...didnt appeal to me, but she liked it. We shared a cookie bowl for dessert, which was amazing.

Selling cheap frozen chicken for £8.79 per dish and when complained the waiter was rude and tried to make out it was my fault the food was at tesco frozen range quality

Have been here many times but felt very disappointed on this visit. Ordered the sharing beef chilli nachos, it was difficult to spot the chilli as there was so little of it and the nachos were in a pool of sweet chilli sauce.The waiter came to tell me my main was no longer available and asked if I wanted to order something else. I ordered the chicken Katsu which is normally crispy and tasty, last night it was soggy so disappointed again. On top of this the dish was cheaper than what I ordered but I was not offered or given a refund on the difference and when I went to the bar to ask, the barmaid was on her own and very busy so I left it .Won’t be rushing back

Went to place food order to be told that there was a technical fault in the kitchen so we could not order any food. It was only 7.30. We had some drinks and crisps instead but could hear/see the kitchen still cooking for the next 30 minutes and tables who had ordered prior to us still received their meals. I would have believed the staff had they not had a discussion as I walked past about whether they wanted any food themselves. Disappointing.

Staff could have been a bit friendlier. Food ok, cheap and cheerful, nothing great. Food definitely looks better in the photos within the menu, slightly disappointed when it arrived.

Great service food lovely .we had a great lunch with parmo violet gin seating comfortable. staff friendly dog friendly and great atmosphere

Decided to try the fluke after not been for many years.. I was not disappointed, the food was great steaks were delicious perfectly cooked.. we will be back for a return visit soon..

Came here with a group of friends for a few drinks and a light bite to eat! The staff are very attentive and professional! Always up for a chat! And the food is out of This world! Messy Mexican chicken is to die for!! Cannot fault this pub!!!

Good food for a good price. Nothing special at all. The Goose IPA is delicious, but the staff could be a little more friendly.

Plenty of different times on the menu, at very good prices. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. A good mix of locals and tourists.

Tuve una comida encantadora para 4 todos probando algo diferente! Todas las comidas estaban bien presentadas y estaban deliciosas! ¿Este pub había ido cuesta abajo a lo largo de los años? Pero, ¿puedo decir realmente que están en camino de regreso? Lo recomendaría muchísimo el pescado! Pero como dije, todas las comidas eran buenas. ¡No puedo creer el precio razonable de la factura con bebidas y café incluidos! Sin duda volveremos! !

Amazing food and service, management and staff friendly and very professional, Chef deserves credit for producing quality food on a regular basis, puts some restaurants to shame!!! Well overdue an award!!! Definitely will be back, make the effort and try this place, well worth it

Visited here regularly with my sister during a very stressful time supporting family in Raigmore. This pub is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and I would fully recommend it to anyone in the area

Always a treat when I visit this wee pub in the heart of Inverness. Close to Raigmore hospital and Inverness college. Value for money, amazing staff and I feel so welcome every time I visit. Feel like I’m becoming a regular

The food and service were both excellent. My husband and son had a burger and I had the sweet chilli beef. All our meals were tasty and plentiful with good value for money.

Stopped in here for something to eat when we were in the area.

Typical pub/diner. Food decent and well priced. Lots of TVs on display showing football when we were present. Was reasonably clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking space at the rear and near to local Raigmore hospital. Was quite busy for meals when we were there so appeared quire popular. Would use it again if in the area.

We visit the Fluke every time we are up visiting family. The food is amazing. First time we have been up since they did it up. It's lovely...very homely & still full of character.

I visited my favourite eatery again this month with my Canadian cousin. I was impressed yet again by the quality of food & the service.

Use the fluke alot as it's close to work. Last couple of times we have noticed that the service is really slipping.

The restaurant was very badly understaffed

Nipping in for a spot of lunch with my hubby and daughter this afternoon . My daughter has cerebral palsy and can be very difficult to please where eating out is concerned as she is very self conscious when eating out . The manager Jean and her staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate for my daughter and the chef Anji always goes out off her way to insure my daughters dietary needs are met but I can honestly say how lovely and helpful the staff are and the food was lovely as always and totally value for your money will definitely be back soon .

I made a stop with my friends at the Fluke as we had it recommended for both the food and the old fashioned atmosphere. When we walked in we were greeted by a member of the staff and offered a nice table in a quiet part of the restaurant. My friend and I went to the bar to order something to drink whilst we studied the menu. The barman was quick and very polite, even if the bar area was quite busy with a lot of customers asking to be served.

My 1st ever review , but this needs put out there . So hopefully they will improve on this , I have been a customer at the fluke for years and never once had a bad experience until the other day , always had my staff nights out in here and recommended this place to my customers/friends and family, but won't be now , Myself and my partner decided to go and grab dinner here as it was always amazing and great food/service and atmosphere, however we walked in at just after half 5 for dinner and sat down at the dinning area , the waitress came over and said sorry there was no menus as we are behind as there was a function on , and then handed the menus over , that was fine and did not bother me , but 2 minutes later the manager guy clearly says something to the waitress and she come straight back over and says sorry you can eat here right now and you have to go and sit at the bar area for 15 minutes till the restaraunt part opens , no sign saying it was closed or anything , bear in mind everything was set up and the only thing was the menus that was left to do , so we went over and it was packed , no where to sit and order and felt like we were shufed aside , by this point customers were sitting down ordering food and the restaraunt that was apparently closed at 5.30 -5.45pm , anyway we stood and ordered a couple of drinks and 5 min later ask the barman if we can now go over to the restaraunt , he ask the manager or acting manager if we can now sit down , to which he says ok , but again made it feel like we were just in the way. Been before many of times and the staff & food has always been great.

Several friends had raved about the quality of the food at The Fluke when they went for a meal only yesterday, however today was totally different. The food was awful...either cold or overcooked, and presented in the manner you would expect from a toddler. Burnt french fry fragments in the photographs are from the chilli beef and not the chips. It didn't help that the "sizzling platter" was lukewarm at best with peppers and onion as good as raw. Mushrooms cold and minute, nachos looked a bit like vomit.

Went out for a meal here tonight and the food is absolutely delicious, italian chicken was amazing! Nice friendly staff, great atmosphere, will be back again soon!!!

Went here this afternoon after not being for a while. Used to love eating here but today was Terrible! We both had sweet chilli beef and it was dry, chewy and tasteless! Wont be going again!

I visited with my family as in the area. Many years ago (10 ish) used to come here loads when lived in area and food was always amazing. It has gone quite downhill now as food appears pre made and it lacked flavour.

Good food the manager was very helpful and friendly.bar staff friendly will go back.nice and clean good makeover.

Tuesday 5/7/19. This was our first time at this publ. The bar maid was extremely rude. We asked about ordering food at 8:15 pm and she stated t hat they were no longer serving food and walked away from us with a very bad attitude. We decided to go ahead and have a drink. then a food server told us we could still order and wiped a table for us and invited us to sit down. After reviewing the menu and ordering a drink we went to bar to order our food and the same bar maid with the worst hospitality and courtesy started arguing with us that she already told us there was no more food being served. In all my travels, I have never experienced such rudeness. We are very easy going, patient and low key travelers but this was the worst service we have ever received. If I was the owner and she represented my business I would not be in business long without firing her. I hope they have a good local customer base because no traveler should ever go to Flukes in Inverness. PS it turns out they were just behind on their orders. Go figure. PSS, Love Scotland and everyone else we have met over to us

We decided to go to the fluke as it’s somewhere we haven’t been in years. We’d had a burger each which was pretty good and we both would be happy to go back again to have.

probably the most varied menu we encountered in Scotland with both Scottish and American choices. Reasonably priced and good for families. Service a little shaky. Food was tasty and good portions.

Only six minutes walk from our hotel, we were starving and bedraggled by the time we walked into the Fluke. The bar area has a pool table and some fruit machines. The menus are bright, new and clean, as well as extensive!

It was our second visit to the Fluke, and first time after they have reopened. It was a quiet afternoon, we have found a table near the window, and went to the bar to order. Served by a nice and friendly lady, she actually came back to check on our meals later on. Same as last time, we have ordered curly fries and never got them, didn’t bother mentioning it so just had the chips that came with the meal. Same as last time, my partner wanted to get one of the special steaks and yet again they didn’t have it.

I had lunch there after a hospital visit. They sell non-alcohol beer and vegitaria3n food. Good value menu nice bar staff friendly and chatty. Clean and several areas for eating including quite spots. A real gem. New menu on day I was there and had great choices for all pallets.

Great vegan curry and vegan pudding. It is nice to see a menu specially for vegans and vegetarians, rather than a meal being created as an exception which doesn't quite turn out right. I have never been disappointed with the fluke.

Mientras estábamos en Inverness por algunas semanas, comimos aquí varias noches, el restaurante era muy barato y la comida que recibimos fue encantadora.

Nos habían dicho que este era un buen lugar para comer por amigos, pero nunca llegó. Esta noche fuimos a comer y quedamos muy impresionados. Tuvimos 3 entrantes para 8, alas de barbacoa, gambas torpedo y nachos, todos realmente encantadores. Luego comí fajitas de pollo y mi esposo hizo surf y césped. Todo muy bien cocinado y presentado. El personal era muy agradable y acogedor, y sin duda volveremos! Gracias por la deliciosa comida!

Mi familia y yo comimos aquí regularmente y debo decir que recientemente la comida ha sido muy buena.

Hace poco estuve aquí con mis amigos para una comida. Soy un cliente habitual aquí, pero definitivamente no volveré.

I recently visited the fluke on a Sunday afternoon with extended family. As there’s were eight of us we were seated in one of the new extra large booths. It was really spacious and comfortable and private. The place has been recently refurbished and is looking lovely and fresh. We ordered a variety of dishes from the kids and adults menu. Everything looked and tasted great. The portions were generous and even the kids meals were a good size in comparison to other restaurants I’ve visited. Service was quick and The staff were polite, friendly, and attentive. I found the pricing very reasonable and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended.

Well that was an experience we went there as close to hotel. On arrival was told to sit wherever we want, so headed to comfy looking booth to the be told rather abruptly that We could not sit there as for parties of six only, ten minutes later staff member sitting in booth having dinner. Moved to another table which needed wiped down. Went to order food waited a while to be served then got asked what I wanted on nachos, when it arrived nachos stone cold and wrong cheese on them. Had a mixed grill for main but sausages under cooked the rest was chewy and tasteless. The whole service and customer experience was poor. I know it’s cheap food like weatherspoons but quality of food not close to it.

Loving the new layout. Visited as a group of 6, quickly seated. Ordered and didnt have to wait long for thw food. Very delicious and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend

The Fluke has recently had a makeover and is looking fresh and on trend.

This was my first time back to the Fluke since the face lift. All I can say is WOW!! Stunning. Very busy as it was Saturday afternoon. Still letting me take in my pooch, but in the Bar only, but that's ok.

First of all when I walked into pub amazing looked clean and done up nice and the fact they started selling Stella amazing but that where it stopped we sat in restaurant went and ordered then while we where waiting for food the manager came over saying that this table is fo 6 people only I would of been happy to move but her attitude and the way she approached is was a complete joke she was rude and unpleasant I am a duty manager of one of the busiest pubs in Inverness and I was shocked by this service and to be honest i wanted to eat and leave our food was barley warm I ordered to mega surf and turf I asked for steaks to be medium my partners was medium well and mine was rare no one checked on our meal and the service was bad this pub is close to my house but I don't think I want to go back

Told on arrival food would be 40 minutes because there was allergen in the kitchen so whole kitchen had to be shut down to prepare food for the one person's meal. Seems a strange

Went to the Fluke following it's refurb. WOW! The place looks amazing, still quaint, but cosy & lovely. Food is still delicious. Well worth a try

We popped into our local to help the celebrate its makeover. There were people a plenty with a good atmosphere. The staff as ever were polite, professional and helpful.

came here last week , and was very impressed , the food was lovely and at great prices too , we were a party of 14 and all of the meals looked good , good kids menu , and the desserts were amazing , we will be returning

Good value for money, especially at steak-day. There's hardly any service, but hey we're not here for a romantic night out, we just want a steak and some pints, in a lovely pub with a small bill. Great!

I went for a meal at the Fluke Inn on Christmas day with a couple of friends, we had prebooked and informed the staff of our meal choices well in advance and we were not disappointed

We had heard that the Fluke had a new menu and the food was one of the best in town. You take your order up to the bar and you pay for your food up front. We were not asked if we would like to keep the tab open. Other places do this or they take your card details before you get your food. The person that took our order said to us that cutlery etc was over there pointing to an area. There was nothing like please help yourself to cutlery. I think the management should introduce table service as the Fluke is situated in a prime location in the city.

Have to say this one of the poorest lunches I have had in a long time. Being in the Highlands you would nit expect powdered potato as part of your Sunday lunch. It was awful. To be honest it was cheap staff were fine service was good. Spoiled by poor food. Plenty of potatoes to buy in Inverness using powdered is woeful

We visited this pub for supper and were amazed at the value , we had the two mains for £8.50 . Both meals were excellent and big portions . The drinks are of great value as well . With the parking at the back it is wellworth a visit .

Great pub with friendly staff, fantastic food and great value. My favourite pub, good ice cold tennants, glasses kept in the fridge!
