Excellent service, very fast bringing drinks. We played the wetherspoons app game and it was such a fun night.

Sat in for dinner. Ordering was super easy using the QR code on the menu, drinks were delivered within a couple minutes and food followed not long after. Food was great, and good price. Roughly £14 for a large mixed grill and pint of Pepsi max. No complaints.

Typical wetherspoons pub. Like all of them food and drink not the greatest you'll ever get but like all of them value for money. Does what it says on the can.

Busy Wetherspoons that does a really good Wethers experience. Good choice of beer, fast service via the app and a great value breakfast. Visited here 4 times during our long weekend break.

As usual, loved the place and usual Wetherspoons menu. Nice atmosphere and quick to order. You may park in the two blocks away car park.

Went for a meal as I had good memories of having eaten here before. Items no longer available from the menu. Lighting was poor. Staff did not thank us or wish us a good night as they passed us leaving. No music, one screen in view.

Popped in in between buses for a coffee first thing in the morning. No dogs, even in the beer garden. Absolutely ridiculous and wrong. Rude, unhelpful antidog staff. Was going to order breakfast as well. Didn't. Train your staff better. Most other pubs in Inverness allow dogs no problem.

Haven't rated rooms as u didn't stay but did have food, good service at the bar by friendly staff, ordered food on the app which works really well, the food was good and plenty of it, tables cleaned promptly after people leaving so other guests could get a table promptly well done too all staff.

Central location, good choice of bars and live music.. the room was huge! And the bed was MASSIVE don't think I've seen a bigger bed

Let's face it. It's wetherspoons. You get cheap drink and good value food without having to be deafened by canned music. The lack of ambience and incompetent staff are just inconveniences that have to be endured.

Chips were cold and onion rings must have been cooked 45 minutes earlier. Pushed for time but I did mention it the to staff who said they would speak to the manager but I didn't see anyone so I have to assume it wasn't important enough to follow up. Disappointed.

Grrrreat Breakfast! Honestly excellent.

Popped into to watch the Scotland v England rugby game and spent a very enjoyable afternoon. We hadn't planned on eating here but decided at the last minute to do so. We enjoyed a mixed grill and a large gammon steak with eggs. We felt both meals were decent and good value for money. Typical Spoons fayre but enjoyable just the same!

Only been to the spoons, have never stayed the night (yet ;))! However, the service was so lovely, what a sweet man! Drinks were delish, and the chicken strips were bussin. ALTHOUGH, Our second round of chicken strips (fatties lol) we were NOT given sauce. Also the chips were a bit sad tbh. Candy Rosà pitcher was INCRED, as was the jammy dodger ™️ shot. Ordered food and drinks with my sister, the food was good, the same as it always is when our drinks showed up both of our glasses were dirty, my sister had ordered an apple juice and there was stains on the side and i ordered a can of something which came with a glass and my glass had lipstick stains on tbe top, both were quite noticeable and im baffled how they were allowed to use those glasses to serve to customers as they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly we did get them changed over but its not what you want to happen when your just going out for lunch xx

Cool atmosphere, good food and English ale beer

Room very good at first glance. It's been done to a very good standard but there's a lot of small breakages about. Shower outer knob broken off, bedside lamp switch loose circuit, ceiling light partly unhooked, sash windows very difficult to fully clip shut. There's a great amount of goodies including bottled water, biscuits, hot chocolate sachets as well as the usual. Room 101 is to be avoided as there's the street noise on one side (only because windows can't fully clasp shut) but also 2 staff rooms either side of the 101s entrance door seemingly always being banged shut. Thank goodness I had earplugs

Make Sure you have ear plugs because our room was next to staff entrance only and they loved to chat outside the room 101 so I ended up putting the do not disturb sign on the door! The shower on off know had no cover, the lounge area for tea coffee etc was extremely dark , the usb plugs weren't near the beds . The room was lovely and big and clean the bed was comfy with chose of pillows , noisy outside due to Saturday night but that's to be expected in the centre of a city /town areas

Aviod this place. Its not run well at all. You' ll get better food and service in many other places Near by.

THE absaolute worst breakfast I've ever had! WARM orange juice, a hard ball of beans, greasy half cooked bacon, a hash brown swimming in oil and looks dirty. Just BAD!!!!!

Not stayed in this hotel but the restaurant is good. Good food just busy. Good for going for a drink or a family meal because there is a lot of different options

I didn't get a room. But the bar service was great and food was good to.

Haven't stayed in the hotel itself, usually just a rendezvous for me and my friends. Drinks are fairly fair and affordable, and food is passable since they're the only pub/bars still served food until 11 pm. Staff are mostly friendly and polite.

It was very good service in the kings highway & had a good new year in Inverness with mum,cousin & my neighbour it was brilliant went to a few good pubs

Great location, staff are really nice and friendly, food is okay just some of it could be a lot hotter.

A spacious, clean, warm room with all you need. Huge bed. teas, coffees, water, etc. provided. One issue is to be careful with the shower curtain as it needs to be pulled right over to the showerside or water leaks onto the floor. Very central location. Could be noisy in corridors. Breakfasted in pub downstairs which was very reasonable. Would stay again.

Didn't use a room so can't comment, cheap drink but always busy and to noisy to have conversation

Visited the bar/restaurant and had a nice evening. Very friendly staff, speedy service and good layout/very spacious restaurant. Ordered a salad that was a little disappointing but everything else was fine.

A fairly typical Wetherspoons. Prices astonishingly low - Real ale Deuchers was lowest at £1.29. Also tried Doom Bar and Corncrake. Halloumi chips delicious. Service perhaps a tad slow. COVID aware. Busy spot

Got approached by a member of staff called Ruth who decided to call me abusive language and act untowards as I lost my face mask and was handing over my mobile number to an old pal 2 metres away from their table. I will never be returning to the premises for being treated in such a horrible mannor. I wouldn’t call my worst enemy the words that came out of Ruth’s mouth I’m absolutely disgusted and won’t let this go

Here just now and very uncomfortable was seated at a table in middle of room. Asked to move but was told we couldn’t sit at a table of 4 even though I saw couples sitting at them. With people passing our table it is less than 1meter distance. No marking on floors and when leaving having to pass too closely to customers entering the pub!!! Would not visit again under the situation we are in...very unhappy and also a member of your staff needs customer service training. Have sent picture to show the lack of social distancing measures your company are implementing.

Booked for a couple of nights as a little get away from home before my birthday. Hotel was great, room was very clean and information left on restaurant apps etc. Bed was mahoosive, shower was excellent (want one at home). Only downside was couldn't get bathroom tap water to be cold so had to use bottled water to brush teeth (thankfully water provided in bottles). Staff in restaurant attached very attentive and great service delivery, even helped us out with vino when the big bottles ran out!! Good location and parking at nearby rose street was very reasonable for time there. Not noisy being a pub as well as a Hotel. Would defo recommend as somewhere to stay when in town, great central location, easy walking into town. Great covid restrictions/info in place. Staff were very friendly and always cleaning tables etc, which made us feel safe to stay there. Will defo be back.

My wife and I visited here recently and thought the Covid outbreak must be over. They really just don’t get it. I suppose when the boss keeps insisting Pubs are blameless for Covid the staff become complacent. On entering the premises we looked for the track and trace sheets which we have found at the entry of other Wetherspoons but could not see any. I ordered a couple of drinks for my wife and I and when they arrived I explained about the track and trace and was told to scan the bar code ? On the wall or table . I tried but I am not too clever, struggled to order the drink. During our visit I witnessed many going up and down the stairs to the toilets were space is tight without face masks. Tables were being cleared of dirty dishes and glasses with no cleaning whatsoever. Absolutely pathetic. We had ordered our meal before we realised how little attention was being paid to Covid and I must say despite being apprehensive it was good value for money. Just a pity the 2 glasses of wine my wife had were a bit short of the measure. I also visited other similar establishments while in the area and must say they all were taking Covid more seriously. Finally this visit has given me another problem, what to get for Christmas?. My 4 children always give me Wetherspoons Vouchers for Christmas and Birthdays due to being a fan of Wetherspoons which are certainly value for money. Strictly instructions no more. Pity.

We stayed here one night at the start of our North Coast 500 tour. As one of the large Wetherspoon pub and hotel empire, we knew to expect a good standard of accommodation at a reasonable price. We were not disappointed. Our room was larger than most other budget hotels and was clean and comfortable.Meals are not included in the room price but the usual excellent value extensive menu was available in the pub area and there are lots of other options nearby. We were able to order both food and drinks on the Wetherspoon app and these were delivered to our table quickly. Food was served hot and tasted good.

Waited a few minutes to get in. Sat and ordered on the app, average of 15 minutes to get the drinks. Ordered food, which came within 15 minutes, but order was wrong and food was cold. Lost interest at this point.

Paré aquí para un merecido descanso y bebidas después de un día de viaje desde Londres seguido de varias horas de turismo. O cree que lo es. . . Nunca abrir la boca y decirle a la gente que se cubra.PD. . . y al lugar le vendría bien una limpieza, las sillas parecen como si la gente las hubiera orinado.

La mayoría de las empresas normales no adoptan una postura política mientras ésta sí. Platos Rishis. Apoyando el brexit. . Los clientes no deben estar sujetos a la propaganda política de Tim Martins. (Gorila / Persona de alta visibilidad en la puerta sin crédito de seguridad) 4 mesas gratis en la puerta de entrada (todavía llena debido a covid) Tenga suerte si recibe todos los artículos de la comida que ha seleccionado a través de su aplicación crumby. 2 huevos fritos para el desayuno = 1 huevo frito para el desayuno. Rutinariamente es incorrecto. ¿Cómo puede algo tan simple ser incorrecto tantas veces? El precio es lo único que hace que valga la pena ir a este lugar.

Nunca nos habíamos alojado en un hotel de Wetherspoons antes, pero como una de las otras cadenas hoteleras más grandes de Inverness nos había molestado, cancelamos la reserva allí e hicimos una reserva para King's Highway.Me alegro mucho de haberlo hecho: buena ubicación, excelente, habitación espaciosa tal como aparecía en el sitio web con una cama doble decente y 2 camas individuales adecuadas para los niños. Noche confortable, baño amplio.Buen desayuno.Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Visited on the 27/08/20 at 15:30.Just like to say that your manager at this branch on this day needs to change her attitude. We went to visit this branch and there was an old couple in front of us and your manager was rude and would not let them in cos they never had the app on there phone, she was rude and telling them to leave her pub now and shouting at them saying she was the manager and she was vaping at the doorway to the pub which I didn’t think was aloud. So me and my family decided not to go into your pub because of your manager, I know all your managers ain’t like this as we visit your pubs all over the country if there is one in the area, but she has put me off at the moment

We booked this place specifically that after a long drive we wanted somewhere to have a few beers a bite to eat and an early night. The bar was full and we could not go in and were asked to wait and queue with non residents. Ended up mooching around Inverness for another place to eat. Surely you could set up a system at reception where hotel stayers could book a table? I have never been in a hotel before where I could not access the bar. Poor

Great location super big family room double bed and two single beds clean and handy for all local restaurants and bars only bad point reception staff not friendly stood for ten mins waiting to check in girl was on the phone didn’t lift her head even to acknowledge we were standing there cleaning staff very friendly and chatted

Bloke at the front was happy and polite, very clear about what's what. Ordered via the app, no problems, breakfast came quite quickly, good food.

Front of house staff were very rude at explaining the rules relating to coronavirus. Started mocking as we walked away.

It’s a Wetherspoons you get what you expect, ordered on app drinks came, looked clean, someone on door directing you to your seat.

This is one place I will never set foot in again, to be told to leave with no explanation, has left me appalled with the customer care. Apparently they don’t have to give a reason, there for find out along with covid guidelines, the guidelines they have in place first.

Spoons clearly don't care about the health of their customers or staff in this pandemic. The tables were not cleaned in between customers, the partitions were uselessly placed. The way they have treated their staff is also disgusting and unforgivable. Slapping a Tories face (Rishi Sunak) on happy hour doesn't fix your reputation, treating your staff as equal humans does. ( Staff were amazing under the circumstances)

Visited here for a quick break away. Decided to eat in spoons. Ordered using the app as recommended. We ordered the 3 for 10.75 sides as starters then 1 tennessee burger and 1 Highland burger. .... they all arrived at the same time. We both asked why. And were told. "Font ask me mate I just serve the food". Thats as you will see from the photos, it wasn't eaten as it was stone cold by the time we had finished our starters. Seemingly its what they do. That's enough for me not to return to a wetherspoons again if that's how they speak to guests and indeed, that's what they do. I've never been spoken to like that by a waiter before and don't intend to again. We were staying in the attached wetherspoons hotel which I was pleasantpy surprised with. Similar rooms to the Mercure across the road for triple the price. Slightly noisy Friday and Saturday but that's to be expected in a busy town centre. I managed to speak to the GM who offered us complimentary breakfasts but we didn't take him up in it as the meal the previous night left a bitter taste and I wasn't really in the mood for a repeat. I would advise people to ignore the request and NOT use the app. Order at the till point and specify the difference between starters and main courses to ensure you don't fall foul to "what they do". No need to be polite to the staff as they are definitely not polite to there guests. I would like to offer a word of advice to them. "Find a job where you don't need to speak to people"! Advice to wetherspoons . Update the app options to include comments for orders. Train staff and have management actually watch them doing there job or not as the case may be.

Was here with husband when we arrived in Inverness. Menu is varied and plenty deals on. We both had a meal with a drink for £12. Food was ok. Maybe could have been a bit hotter but was eatable. Staff friendly but slow to clear tables

It’s a Wetherspoons so you know what you should get. Trouble is, you don’t. It’s a big pub with insufficient staff who appear very frazzled. However, it is very busy as drinks prices are very good. I would describe the atmosphere as uncomfortable, maybe a little threatening, I just wanted to eat, drink my pint and leave quickly. There were dirty tables and glasses everywhere and, at the back of the pub, there was a huge, and growing, pile of dirty glasses. There was no shelf space left so the glasses were now being left on the floor! A sad let down to all the other good Wetherspoons in the UK and it need to be addressed.

I love Wetherspoons, but unfortunately my breakfast was for the second time stone cold. I don't know if they do quality check it or its sat there for a while? (Noticed at least 3others complain too) I am not put off them because I do like the prices and options and I did eat the breakfast because I hate waste but maybe they need a step up?

Seis de nosotros fuimos al club de curry en Kings Highway anoche y todos pedimos un curry. Pedí el mío y el de mi esposa en la aplicación y salió poco después de que llegaran las bebidas. Tuve el pollo jalfrezi. También pedí un ajo nan y pagué el recargo.Toda mi comida estaba apenas tibia, era casi tibia, ¡la de mi esposa estaba lo suficientemente caliente!Le pregunté a la joven que trajo las otras comidas para llevarla de vuelta a la cocina y ella me preguntó qué más me gustaría si no quedaba más pollo. Ella fue bastante amable al respecto y se fue.Recibí un cordero al curry en su lugar y hacía mucho calor, como debería ser.Sin embargo, el nan se había convertido en un simple nan, no me quejé más, simplemente lo acepté.Esto me hizo pensar que seguramente debe haber una temperatura mínima a la que se debe servir la comida y antes de escribir esta reseña busqué en Google el tema y esto es lo que encontré en un sitio web del gobierno local: "Debería recalentar completamente los alimentos a una temperatura interna mínima de 75 ° C (en Escocia debe recalentarse a un mínimo de 82 ° C)"El mismo sitio web también declaró lo siguiente: “Recuerde, es un delito usar alimentos que no son aptos para que las personas coman. Al utilizar alimentos en mal estado, desactualizados o inseguros, está arriesgando la salud y la reputación de sus clientes. Usé la aplicación wetherspoon por primera vez para pedir el servicio de mesa. Pedimos comidas y bebidas, pero aún no las había recibido 45 minutos después. Hablamos con un servidor de paso que dijo que dónde estábamos sentados no fue reconocido por el sistema de cocina. Tuve que ir al bar a recoger mis bebidas y tuve que esperar varios minutos más antes de que llegara la comida. Habíamos pedido Haggis, neeps y puré, pero ambas comidas llegaron con puré de papas frío y Haggis tibios, y solo el sueco estaba bastante caliente. Habiendo tenido que esperar casi una hora antes de recibir nuestro pedido de comida y habiendo mesas sucias llenas de vidrio por todas partes y sin servidores regulares, sentimos que no teníamos más remedio que comer la comida apenas tibia ya que nadie se acercó a quién nos podíamos quejar. El mal servicio o la comida fría. Los baños de damas también tenían baños bloqueados.

Tomé unas copas el sábado por la noche. Estaba ocupado pero parecía haber suficiente personal para hacer frente. Intenté ordenar en el bar durante más de 8 minutos sin ser servido. Finalmente detuvo a un miembro del personal que pasaba y pidió ser atendido, lo que hicieron. Pensamos que usaríamos la aplicación ya que se veía más rápido. Pedimos 2 whisky 1 con hielo. Cuando los conseguimos, el hielo se había derretido. Pedí un reemplazo y terminé obteniendo la misma bebida con el hielo derretido y más hielo agregado. No es lo que pedí. Hablé con el gerente sobre esto, quien se disculpó. No volveré a toda prisa. Puede ser barato pero no esperes un servicio aceptable o la bebida que ordenaste.

Well boys,its the new year. And I thought I would start off the day with an all day brunch. It. Was. Banging. I was stuffed to the brim so much so I needed the loo, but I ain't using no spoons toilets. Anyway, once my stomach settled I thought I would end my lunch with a tasty hot brownie. It arrived very fast. I was presented with the brownie but also noticed the side order of a black hair. I pushed it away at first but decided that the brownie looked too good. I ate it in one and Im now carrying a food baby.Happy New year guys.

Like church, I attend at least once a week. And like church, it is a profound religious experience to enter the front door of the Kings Highway. On arrival you will notice the wide variety of patrons. From large groups of friends enjoying the time they are spending together to the lonely woman crying into her gin in the corner. Why are you crying hen? Why? Don't cry, you are in spoons. There is many reasons to cheer. Cheap drinks, cheap food and a Cheeky bag of peanuts to name but a few. All hail spoons, amen.

Ordered table service and it took over one hour. Very disappointed. Ridiculously understaffed!!!!!!!!!

I always pop in when I can, enjoying the good beer, great service and excellent food. I really enjoy this place, and to be honest wonder why some moan. Hope to be back soon; The Kings Highway has probably the friendliest waitress/glass collector in GB, who greets each regular personally. Am not entirely sure which country she is from, but Tim, owner of Whetherspoons would surely reverse his Brexit ideas if he personally saw quality staff like that! Well done Kings Highway, even if you are a few pence more than the Aberdonian pubs!

Went in for a breakfast, The eggs were not completely cooked, the bacon was cold. Won't be going back, to the inverness wetherspoons.

We were in here for drinks and due to the queues at the bar decided to use the Wetherspoons App. We would have been quicker standing at the bar as I had to go and ask for our drinks which had sat at the end of the bar as the person delivering them didn't know who they were for. The bar queuing system is non-existent and chaos reigns. We saw several stand offs from irate customers skipping the queue. As with all Wetherspoons drinks prices are great but the place could be better organised.

Stayed for one night to attend a show at the Ironworks which is about a 5 minutes walk. Cosy, clean, comfortable room with a nice bathroom. We were at back of hotel so no view but better on a Saturday night as a few pubs around so could maybe get a bit noisy late at night. Would definitely stay again.

We had a Scottish breakfast here , when eventually it arrived I found that my breakfast was missing a couple of items. Fully ten ( 10 ) minuets later it came back only to find even the added items were luke warm if not cold . Very very poor service surely I would have thought a fresh HOT plate of food should have been sent out. Come on Wetherspoons I clearly will not be back nor will recomend to anyone .

Layout of room was very good. Also furnishing and fittings very good. Bedding (as always in a Wetherspoons Hotel) exceptionally comfortable. Bar staff were excellent (one of the best Wetherspoons to actually get served in). Also very friendly and polite. However felt Hotel staff could have been more friendly. Though they were efficient enough. Bar lovely to sit and enjoy food and drink.

A popular place it was always busy. Dave had a pizza with the drinks on the second night which he enjoyed very much - I was not hungry so just drank! Our last night we decided to have a late night bite and Dave chose lasagne which came with a side salad whilst I had a haggis and cheese panini, both were good and although I did not finish mine it was just because I was too full. Dave tried some local beers which he enjoyed and the only disappointment was I noticed that they had introduced a fizzy rhubarb drink which I wanted to try but unfortunately they had sold out.

En general, no dejo malas críticas, y al final del día, este es un Wetherspoons, por lo que no se puede esperar perfectillon, pero este lugar es en general un poco lúgubre, con poco personal y un poco sucio, nos sentamos por 40 minutos al lado de una mesa sin limpiar, y nuestra mesa estaba pegajosa.

Weatherspoons in Inverness was really busy and did a great breakfast which is very good value for money, however the place was a bit dirty, decor was very dated and would benefit from a complete repaint. the tables were often left un-kept with dishes, glasses etc left for long periods of time. I had to ask all three times we went there for our table to be cleared and cleaned correctly. it wouldn't stop me from going back however ..

Posto onesto con un buon rapporto prezzo qualità. Servizio rapido. Buona birra - ampia scelta - e cibo più che accettabile. Abbiamo preso un burgher e del pollo, tutto secondo le nostre aspettative.

The breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. Hint for confused tourists like myself, you can just grab a free tabled then you go to the bar to order. Don't forget your table number so they know where to bring your food.

Went to wetherspoons for a fully breakfast. After a 40 min wait we asked if they had forgot our order. We were told it wouldnt be long. A further 20 mins passrd and still no sign. Complained again and it suddenly appeared from the kitchen- burnt and hard.

This pub is in a nice building and is huge inside. When we arrived, there was lots of empty tables but they hadn’t been cleared away so stacked with dirty plates etc... They need to clear away a bit faster. We ordered on the app easily but one meal that arrived was incorrect so had to send it back. They prepared a new burger but it still lacked the pickle. Couldn’t be bothered to ask for it. Good service though.

Been in many Weatherspoons up and down the country and never had such consistently good and prompt service as we have had today ' be at at the bar or using the app. Staff have been on the ball - busy all day and the staff haven't faltered once be it serving drinks and or meals

Ordered refillable coffee on App. Mugs came straightaway. Lovely ambience so we decided to order food, again by the App.

We arrived at 11:45 for a late breakfast, as having visited numerous Wetherspoons before I know we can all be catered for. On walking through the door, I should have followed my gut instinct and turned around, but hunger prevailed. The place was at most 10/15% full, but AT LEAST 80% of the tables were dirty and piled high with plates/glasses from long exited customers. We eventually found a minimally dirty table, removed the plates ourselves (added to one of the nearby already dirty tables) and cleaned it with a napkin. Food and drinks were ordered at the bar which was a ridiculously slow process, and we sat chatting while waiting. After 25 minutes there were no signs of drinks or food so we went back to the bar to find out what was wrong. Turns out our order had been taken wrong, we hadn’t been told that one of the drinks wasn’t even available and they were never going to be delivered to us as we should have been given them when ordering at the bar (which we hadn’t been). We eventually received our food, and the drinks were sorted (as much as possible considering one wasn’t available) so started to eat. The food was standard pub/Wetherspoons fare although the porridge (yes, porridge took over 20 minutes to be served) arrived without the advertised blueberries. We were refunded for the drinks, which was a reasonable gesture. This did not compensate for the delay, or the overall dissatisfaction.

The room was fine, the location was fantastic. The only frustrating thing was having to park so far from the hotel, about a 7 minute walk.

The King´s Highway no es un local elegante, ni su comida es digna de recordar, ni su clientela es distinguida. Pero en eso estriba su encanto. Pub enorme, con moqueta gastada. Una barra enorme repleta de surtidores de cerveza, donde tienes que pedir la comida, típica de pub, sin pretensiones pero bien hecha, y a precios imbatibles en Inverness y en toda Escocia en general.
