The best restaurants in Lomond West Dunbartonshire Glasgow and Surrounding

Lovley pequeño bar enclavado a orillas del lago Hide wee gema visto mientras caminábamos a lo largo del camino, paramos por unos pocos y nos quedamos por 2 horas, el ambiente era tranquilo y el personal era fantástico volveré

El hotel está sin duda en una ubicación soberbia, el personal servicial y atento como era de esperar, dado lo que se cobra, fui por el té de la tarde y me gustaría señalar que esta experiencia fue en el mejor de los casos promedio , por las siguientes razones. El “té” se divide en 3 componentes salados seguidos de pasteles y luego bollos. Está muy desequilibrado, ya que los dulces ocupan 2/3 de la porción. Y francamente dado que no hay elección sobre lo que se sirve, el elemento salado fue bastante poco apetitoso y sugirió que estaban demasiado ansiosos por proporcionar una opción que como conjunto simplemente no funciona. Desde el salmón ahumado hasta el pollo de coronación es el tipo de pensamiento que un organizador de bodas demasiado ansioso podría sugerir para cubrir todas las bases, pero para 2 personas el 50 % de lo que se puso delante de nosotros quedó y la enorme cantidad de opciones dulces francamente abrumadora. Los bollos eran excelentes, pero £ 110 más tarde nos fuimos después de haber disfrutado de los alrededores, pero profundamente poco impresionados con la comida.

Het meest balen, vind ik dat dit restaurant 4,5 ster krijgt. Zeer onverdiend en heeft ons daardoor op een verkeerd been gezet. Het eten vonden wij matig en de kwaliteit van de wijnkaart ook. Wij voelde ons niet gastvrij ontvangen en de uitstraling van de twee aanwezige personen was weinig opbeurend. De ambiance (de stoelen zaten wel lekker) was saai. We waren de enige gasten, later kwamen er nog twee mensen bij. Misschien zegt dit wel alles, wat dit ondanks zo’n hoge waardering.

Cute little takeaway cafe! Had a hot chocolate and a salted caramel brownie that was so good. I don’t recall there being anywhere nearby to sit, but it was a nice walk with my treats!

It was a lovely place to eat and chat. Great staff and service all around.

Food always delicious, we enjoy sitting in in either the cafe or restaurant, and the takeaway is also top notch.

We came on the recommendation of our guest house, a lovely place. We enjoyed our food and the setting, but the service was very (too) slow...

I'm not in Pubs very often ,was in this for little over an hour atmosphere was like a 1980s Bar,went out to the Smoking area as my son smokes ,it was very tatty ,the benches and tables looked like they hadn't been touched for years ,other than the table tops ,there were dirty marks on all the wooden table legs like splash marks, a good scrub and some varnish on the Benches and Tables would improve this place visually it wouldnt take a lot of money or time to achieve this.

I liked it, I hope to return again

Lovely lunch in the newly refurbished Raffles. We were served by Pavi who was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Woke up Munchied and I’d never heard of this place but I’d been dreaming of Mac n cheese. Ordered along with a portion of chips and my god it’s old school mac n cheese. Best I’ve had for 30+ years Thank you so much now it’s time for bed again 🙄obviously got stuck in before I left this review so please excuse the picture but honestly it’s a whole hearted meal. Don’t listen to the other review of this as honestly they have not got a clue.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast in the lovely setting of the garden centre restaurant. The young servers are very attentive and provide excellent service. My husband had the Scottish breakfast which was huge and well presented. His sausage was a little tough, but everything else was very good. I had a croissant which I found a little bit dry. Coffee was excellent. It's a lovely garden centre to wonder around too.

I was so disappointed that I did not get any prawn crackers with my order... and even more so when I called to be told they had changed their charges and I now needed to spend £16+ to get them.. shocked as it used to be £10+... I don't order that often so why not tell me this when I phoned back... so disappointed with how I was spoke to and no apology... not ready great service is it!!!

First class meal , food very fresh, recommended by accommodation and l can see why also very reasonable. Would definitely return next time in area
