Waterhouse Inn Balloch in West Dunbartonshire

We were only in the restaurant. It was the best pub meal we had on holiday in Scotland. Everything was great and they were very friendly

Fabulous place for lunch. Food delicious. Great staff and ambience for a catchup with friends.

Disgusting overpriced miniature coffee more expensive than Starbucks. Unfriendly staff. Definitely won’t be back.

Great Scottish breakfast. Highly recommended.

Good value for money, walking distance to the Loch Lomond cruises. Breakfast was good and cheap as well.

Had lunch excellent food and service

A few rooms above the pub make it a hotel with a family atmosphere. Large and comfortable room. Ideal location for a trip on and around the lake. No reception counter. Be careful, no breakfast before 9:30 a.m.!?! Fortunately, right next door there is a restaurant that makes delicious ones. In short, a nice stopover, but somewhat spartan service.

Delicious home made soup and freshly made sandwiches. Will be back when back at Balloch country park with the dogs.

Passing through for one night. Spacious rooms, comfortable bedding and excellent location. Free parking right opposite. Typical pub just below, ideal for a quick beer after a walk in town.

Excellent place to stay. Me and my sister, stayed for three nights, we had a large twin room. Very comfy beds. Superb place to have breakfast, just down the stairs, best square sausage we've had in years and the staff were so friendly. The bar was also a great place to spend the last hour or two before bed. And in the room, you would never guess their is a great pub down below. Will definitely stay there again, when next in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights with work, the lady was very accommodating and helpful, couldn’t fault the room, good tea and coffee facilities with a biscuit, only downside was no plug by bed (not a problem though) but other than that the room was perfect - loads of storage space too. The bar was ideal for a drink watching the football on their many screens, friendly crowd

We enjoyed our stay at the Waterhouse inn. A great location for us to stay one night on our trip further north.

Called in for a Beer and Food it didn't disappoint great welcome from the staff and other customers. I definitely will be back and recommend it to anyone visiting Balloch.

Very warm service and great food on a day which made us stumble into it due to some heavy snowfall. Drinks good, meals just awesome and our waitress was great.

Had lunch here and it was traditional pub grub - Great portions so tasty and the staff were so friendly - Loved it
