Great food all freshly made dishes to order. Good selection of Gluten free and vegan. Good size portions and also do a small plates menu.

After travelling down all day from Loch Ness, we needed somewhere for a late lunch that also catered to dogs as we had two. This place hit the spot in all areas. The food choices were good and the prices matched but where it really shon was the food quality as well as the service. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming but in particular the young waitress who it seemed couldn't do enough. She was so friendly and polite and one of only two people serving so was super busy but it never affected her demeanour. The food does take a little linger than usual but it does explain on the menu that it's all cooked fresh to order. The only downside was the TV with football on but if you're into football that won't be a problem. All in all I highly recommend you give it a try

Food was ok , both main meals had to be returned due to coming out cold . This was rectified with fresh meals that were hot. Don't understand why kitchen staff allow cold meals to be given out to customers. The conservatory where we were allocated our table was absolutely freezing with most customers wearing their jackets while dining. The waiting staff approached us after our main meals were finished and proceeded to go under our table to put on the heating, obviously heating switch allocated under booth.The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely not the most enjoyable dining experience.

Sausage rolls were cold sandwiches poor,bar hada strong smell of fish not nice.

Service was wonderful and staff were very friendly and helpful. However the food was incredibly disappointing, the pepper sauce lacked any pepper to taste and the fresh seasonal veg was neither fresh nor seasonal, it was clear the the peas and sweetcorn have come out of a freezer bag and so had probably the sliced carrot and all lobbed into a pan on the boil. I think if I had chosen a different meal it would have been better but please, if you're going to add vegetables at least put some effort into roasting a few carrots.

Had a meal for a birthday Food wasn’t homemade far from it I had chicken and veg chicken hadn’t been cooked through the veg looked like the veg from a pot noodle mums couldn’t get through her gammon steak not even with a sharp knife Won’t be back

Food is average to good. Similar to a lot of pubs, food bought in and heated. You can only order from the Xmas menu if pre booked,guess that's down to food waste avoidance. Atmosphere is again fair to a slight buzz,the bar is floor level and the food area is slightly elevated up 3 stairs, however you can still have a full view of the bar. Well behaved dogs are allowed in bar which I like, some may not. Staff are nice and friendly, prices are a little high considering food gourmet quality is average. Most pubs ,bars and restaurant prices have gone up. I would definitely go back as it was a nice afternoon.

In my experience the food is great. They are also very accommodating of dogs

Used to go to the Glen Lusset a lot more when I was younger. Went for Christmas day dinner a few years back and have been back for food a couple of times in the last year. Always had a good night and food is really nice.

What a find! The service and food exceeded our expectations, and the price was excellent. This was the best value I had in two weeks in Scotland. Served very popular with the locals, too. Always a good sign.

A fairly standard place for pub grub. We sat in the bar area as we had a dog with us. It would possibly have been nicer in the lounge but didn't want to leave the dog out 😁

3 off us went for friends birthday lunch.lisa waitress face was tripping her and so uninterested.had to ask for napkins as only one brought and forks.wich were slapped down in front of us.only one napkin and was told u don't need for deserts but should have asked for another 2.confronted her about her bad service and manner and were told in don't want to see ur faces again.honestly we did nothing apart from having the odacidy to ask for a napkin each and forks .won't b back .food good but service with a smile is important thing for customers

Nice place to go for a drink. Usually busy enough to have a nice atmosphere but not so busy you find it hard to get served. There is also a raised section in the bar where you can sit for something to eat. If you don't fancy sitting in the bar area they have an extension on the side where you can also dine. This part is made mostly of glass allowing you a bright area for eating and to see the picturesque view of the surrounding canal and wooded area. The beer is good with a large selection of draught or bottled drinks. The food is even better, having a good selection of food on the menu and a smaller sized meal menu for those who do not wish a full meal. They have a kids menu too making The Glen Lusset a great choice for a family to visit for an enjoyable meal. Alongside the canal they have a lovely beer garden for the hotter summer days and the staff are always happy to help. Wheelchair accessible entrance and ramp inside, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities all add to the family friendly vibe. Great place for all.

Was in as part of a funeral party today 23/5/23 and the food was excellent. The staff were also very attentive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Glen Lusset for anyone intending to visit.

Staff very friendly, pub clean and good that they are Dog Friendly, we had lunch and I would recommend the Combo platter it was delicious and great value for money, well done to all and compliments to the chef.👍

Can't really go wrong with this place. It's the go to default place for me and the family if we are going somewhere.

was here friday with my husband and mother in law for a late lunch and I have not long been diagnosed with celiac (gluten free) and I was over the moon with how much gluten stuff you have on your menu. myself and my husband will definitely be back and our food was amazing

Lovely food. Staff very friendly & helpful. Have been a few times this year & recommended The Glen Lusset to friends.

Had to give 1 star though not even worth that. Food was cold vegetables were burnt or raw. Ice cream was inedible it was so frozen. I had paid a £5 deposit which was not taken off my bill. Asked for the seniors 2 course price only to be told that this had to be ordered in advance as "over 60s" get smaller portions. Rubbish this was not stated anywhere on the menu.

The two waiters were very welcoming and took us to a table. The menu offer 2 for £12 or a more substantial offering we settled for the offer, but ordered cheese garlic bread and onion rings. The food was superb, piping hot and the side portion were enormous. One of best meals I've had.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Ruined my grans reception after her funeral. Staff were EXTREMELY RUDE, arguing , rolling eyes and took 1 hour 20mins for sides for our party. Took the attention away from my gran, and attention to the poor staff causing drama

We booked a table for 7 for lunch, we had been in fairly recently and had a positive experience. Not today however; today we waited over an hour for our food, when the food finally arrived the portions were tiny. We had to ask for the dessert menu twice, and the second time we asked the female staff member had a terrible attitude. We then waited ages for our desserts and then 3 of the party recieved the wrong order. The service itself was awful, the male on shift was great and couldn't have been more accommodating but the female didn't even crack a smile. We found her to be abrupt and quite rude at points. We definitely won't be back.

Food was good. Service was good until they didn't make a drink correctly (which was clear even visually) and thought it was good customer service to just insist it was fine. Drink was left untouched. Won't be back 😌

Good place to have a coffee nice open and friendly venue

This was a necessary visit for a post funeral purvey. The pub is at Old Kilpatrick right underneath Erskine Bridge. The fair was standard, sausage rolls, asstd.Sandwiches and cakes. All were of very high quality and most enjoyable. Tea and coffee were also on tap served by nice friendly staff. We had a lovely private suite giving privacy which was much appreciated on such an occasion The venue has a comfortable, rustic feel and I would imagine the standard dinner menu to be very good Well worth a return journey at some point.

Long time since I've been there, really enjoyed it.

Amazing food, incredibly friendly staff and dog friendly (Belle loved all of the fuss and attention!) The Tennessee chicken was seriously lush, as was the cheesy garlic bread. The only downside was the incredibly loud group of rather merry ladies on the table next to us (we probably should have anticipated this on a Saturday night to be fair), which almost put us off staying but the food and service was well worth it. Definitely recommend!

Lovely pub! Fantastic service, nice interior, and the food was lovely. Honestly some of the best customer service I've ever had in a pub. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of burgers and they were delicious. Lovely stop if you're walking the Clyde canal. Will definitely be back!

The guy who served us was brilliant very happy fella and we got a wee cheeky curry and pakora, it was brilliant 🙂
