Lovely lunch in the newly refurbished Raffles. We were served by Pavi who was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Isla was a great host, food was amazing and very good price

Very cozy restaurant. Try many dishes and all of them were so delicious. We will visit again .

Great food at a great price. Pavi was a lovely server. Atmosphere only lost a star due to our mid-afternoon visit when the restaurant was quiet.

I recently visit with Raffels with my family for a lunch. Atmosphere was very positive and fresh. Staff was very kind and friendly. I chose to had a Enchiladas which was perfectly balanced flavors. I am definitely going again with my family. Great kids menu choice , really decent food and affordable price. Highly recommended.

Visited them to have dinner as a part of a tour and they definitely are the best of all. Great indian food. Serves veg and non-veg. Besides food, their staff is outstanding. Great service. They make you feel welcomed and pay attention to individuals.

Wanted to grab a quick lunch after the walk in the park. Pavi was brilliant with her service.

Ordered through uber eats, the food arrived quickly and still hot, I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Ordered an enchilada, chicken burger and the mozzarella fritti and everything was gorgeous. I particularly enjoyed the dips that came with the food. Would 100% recommend:)

I came here with my best friend & partner for the 2nd time today and once again had thee most AMAZING experience and food!!!!. We were all treated with the up most respect and great customer service especially from the man himself Dhaval!. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing place.

What a lovely place just next to Balloch train station. Beautiful decor and lovely court yard if you want to sit outside for a drink. Menu had plenty of choice and prices of food and drink great. Pavi was our server today and she was lovely and friendly.

Second visit in 10 days and being honest very good food with good see it, try tacos ( the sauce is Devine ) wonderful sauce and the concept is amazing.

First Visit to Raffles – Impressive Start! Positives: The venue looks absolutely fantastic – very stylish and welcoming. We were personally greeted by the owners, which instantly made us feel at home. All of the staff looked smart, and I really loved the uniforms – a nice touch that added to the overall experience. The food was fantastic – everything we ordered was spot on. I really hope they can keep hold of the kitchen team because they’re clearly doing a great job. The food and drink menus also had a great selection. A special mention to the young girl who was only 15 – she was amazing! So confident and professional beyond her years. There was also a 17-year-old boy who gave very good service – with a bit more training, he’ll be excellent. Overall: It was a great first visit, and we’ll definitely be back. A few teething issues, but nothing that can’t be ironed out. Well done, Raffles – keep up the good work!

Great, reasonably priced food and a stellar all day brunch. Also has really nice matcha lattes. Shout out Pida (hope that’s right) for the fantastic service too! Can recommend.

Raffles is finally opened and went for the food with family on Saturday, very good tasty food with wonderful selections of Mocktails and cocktails, if you don’t drink alcohol the mocktails are amazingly good. Try chicken Burger it’s very different than other places as they got different sauce which is their secret recipe . Overall very nice food with wonderful decor Well done team Raffles

I recently went in for a quick lunch, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The chicken burger is a must-try. This place is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area or a local. I will definitely be going back.

Food was okay, service was fine for Scotland, but the atmosphere was off. For some reason they were blaring music at lunch time. It sounded like a nightclub, but empty of people and during early afternoon. I certainly can't say that I'd recommend this place. The food wasn't particularly cheap either.

Just had lunch in there as a special treat for my girlfriend, and it was the absolute pits,no atmosphere, dirty, shabby and obviously I can't prove it, but would guess all the food came from Farmfoods, served up to astronomical prices,it really doesn't take much effort to make decent food, but when no effort is made you end up with overpriced rubbish, how on earth are you still open.

Spur of the moment decision to come into the Lounge on Mother’s Day at approx 4pm. Didn’t really expect to get a table as we hadn’t booked but the waitress was happy to accommodate us and made us feel welcome from the get go. We were seated in a booth and the young waiter who brought our drinks over took our order kindly brought crayons and paper for the wee man without us asking for it. It was obviously quite busy and a singer was playing. Good relaxed family vibe. I had the steak pie and my mum had the chicken and leek pie. Exceeded our expectations. The kids menu was varied enough. He had pasta which he ate and licked the plate. We both had the hot chocolate fudge cake and the weeman had ice cream. All round very pleased and will definitely go back.

Omg this was a fantastic find !! Food was amazing , delicious and very authentic home cooking . We did not expect such excellent food here . My favourites were the pakoras, daal, aubergine curry and special noodles that were made for our group .The lounge is a huge spacious restaurant which easily accommodated 50 people from our group . The staff were all very courteous and helpful . The owner Alok Singh himself came to greet us and was very hospitable . We thoroughly enjoyed the food there in the last three days !! Overall excellent culinary experience in a wonderfully clean place .If you are in this area please visit this place you will not be disappointed by the experience !!!

Offered free drink for a 5 star review. Rooms were terrible. They fail to mention you’re sleeping above the nightclub so when you go to sleep it’s like sleeping in the dj booth. Only a sign in your room to let you know music is until 3am by which time it’s too late. Shower only has one setting which was boiling. Breakfast was non existent was offered toast or cereal very poor choices when hot food is served until 3am. Doors to your room did not lock properly if you pushed hard enough you could open anyones door without a key.

Always great but a disappointing menu. No chicken wings and mainly Indian items on the menu

Food is so bad The worst food ever

Very bad experience, the place is not well maintained, bathrooms were not well kept. We just took 2 beers, one of them was a bottled one, they brought it at the table already opened (not good for a bottled beer) and the quantity of beer was unusual. The beer was not carbonated and the tasted was awkward. The color was pale and it had clearly something wrong. We asked to change it (first time they told us it was normal, second time.they changed it). It was cheap, but overall not a good experience, you can find much better places in Balloch

Lovely food, sat outside on a sunny day did wait a bit for food but certainly worth the wait, will go again

First time visiting for a while and wasn't disappointed. We shared a combo for 2 to start which was a good size. I then had the double cheeseburger with fries and it was lovely. My partner had the chicken enchilada and loved it. The portions are pretty large. That's not a complaint in any way but sometimes my eyes are bigger than my belly. Maybe shouldn't have pigged out on the combo.

Great food. Good prices. Could do with more staff sometimes. But all in all a nice place for great food.

The kids loved it, they got to make their own pizzas which was great, the adults were less enthused. Needs a bit of smartened up and cleaning. The staff were friendly but service wasn't fast. Food was just OK.

Tiny wee burgers and poor service

Order dinner, to arrive at 4.15,, didn't get it till 4.45, and when it did come something was missing,, phoned and got told we will send it out to you. Eventually got it at 5.15,, also dinner was not that hot, had to put in microwave.

I won a meal for 4 on Facebook... staff weren't sure about what was going on... meal was lovely.... no soap in ladies... just handcleanser... a member of staff took our menu's away placed the w that weren't soiled with food & put them up beside the fresh ones to go on other people's tables... the menu's are also placemats... service was good..

Staff nice,but food terrible,and expensive..my granddaughter had a cookie dough dessert which was 2 cookies binged in the microwave, to soften them,with 1 scoop of ice cream..£7!..

Arrived asked to find a table that had no empty glasses onit and take a seat Waited for 20 min no one came to order drinks we left as same as couple from next table that had ordered drinks that had never came tables where a mess and rubbish lying every where

Poor staffing, defo should be a designated bar person to cope with all the cocktails & shots, everyone else having to wait between 35&45mins to just get a drink, when we've already booked a table, & then having to wait a further 40 minutes for our food, food was good when it finally arrived, BUT NO MANAGER TO BE SEEN, far too many very young staff, we have a B&B in Balloch and I would NOT RECOMMEND THE LOUNGE.

Wouldn't know because we didn't get to try the food. They advertised that due to Covid you had to book a table. Sent them an email asking to book a table for our upcoming trip and didn't get a reply. Saw that they were taking bookings via Facebook and sent a message there, again didn't reply. Finally phoned to be told they were fully booked. We drove past and there was about 3 people in it. Ended up at the Queen of the Loch, food was lovely and the service was excellent so save yourself the hassle!
