Such a lovely shop the choice was excellent and all so fresh we bought loads of lovely products to take back to our holiday apartment and some to take home.

We had a Çilbir and buttermilk chicken. I am more of a Shakshuka than Çilbir when it comes to poached eggs but I decided to give it a try. Definitely a good choice: Perfectly cooked and presented, they were delicious, as was the coffee. I sampled the chicken, it too was extremely good. It's a bit far from Edinburgh where I live, but anyone passing in the area will enjoy the friendly place and quality of food. They wouldn't be out of place in any more fashionable city or location. A great little find. I'll try the Shakshuka next time I am in the area.

We have wanted to visit the cove for a while to see what the fuss was about but it wasn't exactly what we expected, although it seems popular with locals, it didn't live upto expectations. The seating area is tiny and very cramped, the service was shockingly slow and prices were very overpriced. We were seated straight away but we waited 15 mins before we were served or shown a menu, we ordered but we're told there was at least a 30 min wait but we actually waited 40 mins for our food, as did many other tables. We ordered pancakes, the portions were a good size but no fruit was included at the price, this was extra, but without the fruit the pancakes were far too sickening without it. It was nice enough but was not worth the price or worth around waiting for, doubt we would rush back!

Absolutely disgraceful service! Delivery £3 and nearly 40 minutes late. What’s the point of booking time slots if they can’t honour their own delivery times. Had to phone to get an update and no apology whatsoever from staff or delivery person when it eventually arrived. Their pizzas are nice but way too expensive and then have a cheek to charge £3 delivery and can’t delivery remotely near the scheduled time and no apology. Really bad customer service!

Hmmm...loved my 1st visit. A bit on the fence for 2nd visit. We visited as a group of 6 in early August (a Saturday lunch) and were quite taken with the menu, ambience and freshness of food. Went back again on Thursday 29th as a 2 and missed that je ne sais quoi. Chilli beef nachos were lovely and hot. Salmon with giant couscous a hit. But the Greek Fries were cool. And missed the stainless bowl. Maybe a different chef?

We had booked this online for 8pm and decided a few hours before to see if we could change to 7:30pm, but they advised they could not do that time, but 7pm is available. We arrived just before 7pm and they said just sit anywhere. Interestingly they we not busy the whole time we were there, so not sure why 7:30pm would not have worked. Service was quick, and we ordered some drinks whilst we viewed the menu. For starters I chose Chilli Chicken, which was very spicy, but lovely and the other starter was Fish Pakora, which was tasty. Our main dishes, Chicken Tari Wala Murgh was not so hot but had nice flavours. The Chicken Butter was nice. The Garlic and Coriander Nann was the largest Nann I had ever seen being served and that was very good. Overall, the food and service were very good.

Great pizza place! We were more than pleasantly surprised at how good this little pizzeria is. Very tasty, all imaginable variations, a pizza size that will satisfy everyone and at an unbeatable price. That's what makes a good pizza. We'll definitely be back - I hope you will too! Only 1 sausage, phone and asked for the other and they couldn’t send or refund. Not prepared to travel there and back again (4 journeys). Orders should be checked thoroughly and carefully before going out over counter. Massive inconvenience, probably

As always the food in this restaurant is beautiful. We always receive fast and efficient service from all the staff. Hardeep always makes us feel so welcome and always goes above and beyond to give her customers the very best service. Would highly recommend

Lovely place and great wee cafe, several walks from fishery to go on too.

Lovely setting, great view, pleasant ambiance, but very noisy . Not aware of any music playing but voices seem to echo and really quite uncomfortable for quiet chat. Menu disappointed as more than half of items in starters and mains were spicy, curried or with chillies, which does not suit me and, I'm sure, many others. Short dessert menu but waffles were delicious. Wait staff polite and helpful, but food delivery very slow.

Great place for a brilliant pub meal.
