Two Italian guys who passionately offer traditional Italian dishes with Italian products: an excellent pizza and a real espresso coffee. Be wary of imitations, Italians do the food better!!!

Food was nice. That's the only real plus for me. General service wasn't the best. I felt the young lady serving was under pressure and didn't seem to be getting much support.

We came here on a trip and were looking for a bit of Italy and we found this beautiful place, welcomed by many smiles, we felt at home! The pizza was really delicious and the service was impeccable! If we ever find ourselves in these areas again we will definitely come back to eat there

Lovely friendly place, great range of cakes and pizzas, best of all dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Reviews were not trustworthy. Disappointing visit to MadeinItaly. Pasta was undercooked n cheese bland. Second order request for 'extra spicy' cajun pasta dish was ignored. The chicken was tasty but the sauce was not. We didn't stay for coffee & cake due to child coughing over the pastries behind the counter. Service was adequate although cash wasn't accepted as till had no change. Won't travel for 2 hours again to this place or pay heed to reviews.

The coffee here is fantastic with the espresso and macchiato being particularly strong with flavour. Staff are great and it has a very family feel almost like sitting in a small Italian village. Dog friendly 😍

Between us we had pizza and macaroni. 10 / 10, both were first class, and some cheesecake to takeaway. A wee gem in Gourock, will definitely be back, and it's dog friendly.

Great place reasonably priced. Quality first class. Coffee and cake excellent as was my focaccia and Parma sandwich. Will definitely be back. Recommend that you visit if in Gourock.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, amazing staff. Would love to see you expand indoor seating area, because more people deserve to come in and enjoy the food and wonderful service here. Updated 15.7.23 to note that the gelato is phenomenal!

Ordered take away to take to the beach Lovely food, lovely clean shop, children loved the real Italian pizza and cake. Us adults enjoyed Bruschetta. Lovely family. Good luck. We'll visit again next time we are in Gourock.

Friendly service and delicious food. I had the ravioli and they were lovely, the tomato sauce was truly scrumptious. Even though I was full when I finished my plate, I wished I could eat another as it was so nice!

If I could give no stars I would, they took £35.50 for a delivery through just eat and never delivered. Will never use again, and they don’t use vegetarian cheese on their vegetarian meals.

Day trip to Gourock with the kids. Did not expect to find a pizza this good. Exceptional.

Me and my dad went to this restaurant after swimming in the Gourock Outdoor Pool and the line was quite long but went by pretty quickly but when we came in it was so busy. We sat down in a table for two and I got a hot chocolate and my dad San Pellegrino blood orange flavour, we also ordered our food at the same time, I got the Parma Ham Ciabatta and my dad got the Spaghetti Aglio. Our drinks came very quickly and my hot chocolate was phenomenal I drank it immediately and my dads drink was as good as a normal San Pellegrino. The food came 45 minutes later which is atrocious as people who came after us got their food before us and they already had left but the food was tasty. My panini was very good but it wasn’t easy to chew of the meat and my dads pasta was fresh and a little bit aldante which he liked, it was all freshly prepared, lots of garlic and oil and also alot more chili than he expected. The atmosphere was great and the music was too. Overall it was very good except the service was slow.

Freshly made pizza which tasted incredible, chewy dough, fresh sugo. The filled ravioli was very tasty too! This place is a wee gem! Really really worth a visit!

Best pizza and service in town!

Had a lovely lunch today, it was a sunny Saturday so really busy, however didn't effect the quality. Food was lovely, we had 2 pizzas, a ciabatta with lovely meat and a bruschetta, coffee was also lovely and the cannolis were AMAZING

Food arrived late and freezing cold although great chicken nuggets. No sauce on the macaroni, it was just pasta and cheese, pizza was ok. Hopefully just picked the wrong night!

Genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Pastries are delicious. Staff are lovely as well. Highly recommend

Went in for a light dinner but was a bit surprised by the unusual dishes. The minestrone soup was lovely with lots of vegetables but there was hardly any pasta. Ordered the lasagna for main as last time it was tasty as anything and not too big a portion. Last night, however, the lasagna was just a deep plate of cheesy mince, could not find any lasagna sheets in it whatsoever. Not sure what went wrong this time - a different cook maybe? We also often get pizzas to go from here and they are LOVELY but I wish they would precut the pizzas properly to make them easier to eat - or you just need to cut them yourself at home.

I have been here several times but only for convenience. I have found the tea to have a terrible taste and have asked for coffee instead. The service is really bad .The young women last week had no idea. Ciabbatta put on cracked board no cutlery no napkins. After asking several times got them ourselves. Opened doors to let smoke from cooking out .left with my eyes streaming. Need to train staff and up there game if they want to be successful.

dear owner... i have been in your cafe 5 times this year always takeaway. first time was absolutely excellent, after that on the remaining visits its been a hit or a miss, regretfully again a miss. today christmas eve , terrible service which we have come to expect but tolerate in an attempt to support you and enjoy your great food..our food was good but wasted by terrible weak and cold latties. the girl serving was totally not interested. this is not a negative review just an indicator that i really don't know if we can come back. ps we didn't return with coffee as the last time we returned the ciabatta we were growled at. please save your good work by getting your front of house trained.. thank you. Wouldn’t go back again. First we got in and we’re seated at the table. Staff were very friendly and took our order relatively quickly. Then when my friends macaroni cheese arrived it was undercooked. We sent it back and requested a replacement, when it arrived it was ALSO undercooked. We opted to get a pizza for around the same price and took it to go. The staff then tried to make us pay for the macaroni that was undercooked!! (We also had no more than 1 bit of macaroni from each plate!) In the end we had it taken off the bill and left. Was still very disappointed with the over all service. We later on discovered that the pizza was very greesy and cheese was SLIDING off of it. Couldn’t be bothered to go back.

I have been more than a few times to Made In Italy having the pleasure of having freshly made Focaccia sandwiches filled with authentic spicy Italian sausage , sun-dried tomatoes and rocket leaves or a slice of fresh pizza for lunch to popping in for an early evening meal with family to enjoy again authentically made Pizza and pasta dishes. Having travelled to Italy many times you soon learn each region has there own version of popular well known dishes and Made in Italy doesn't disappoint. You won't see any overcooked soggy pasta , all meals are cooked to order and the pasta is exactly how you would be served if you were sitting in the home of an Italian family . Fresh produce , freshly cooked and proper sized portions that any Nonna would serve to make sure you were well fed. The added bonus on top of the great pasta, pizza, focaccia, Italian desserts is that you can BYOB , so remember to bring your favourite bottle of red or white and enjoy authentically made Italian food from a lovely family that have decided to settle in Gourock.

Had a late lunch of filled rolls and good coffee followed by a wee cake. Service was very good. The door handle to the toilet requires urgent replacement. Will be back.

Best meal I have had in a long time!!! Pizza was to die for. Service outstanding. We didn't have a booking so we were outside but they soon found us a table inside as the owner could see I was a little bit chilly. Staff couldn't do anymore for you. My partner had the deserts which he said were delicious also. Next time we visit Gourock we will be back. Ps you take your own booze bit there's a sainsbury opposite so it's a win win for everyone. Loved it.

Slow service as waitress not in at time. Nice tea, coffee and scone & donut. A little expensive so will only go as a treat

Lovely coffees and the food is all so fresh. The snacks are tasty and the lasagna is delicious. Fresh cakes and Italian pastries lovely. Great atmosphere with some music and friendly staff. I really recommend popping in to sit or takeaway. 😊

Food is excellent and Staff are very nice.

Ordered pasta,some fries and garlic bread for the first time at this restaurant. Took a while to arrive 1 hour 40 mins to be exact. Pasta was cold, fries were cold and soggy and garlic bread was greasy. Definitely wont be using again. Never complained about a delivery in my life but was very disappointed.

Ordered food was told would arrive 6.45 -7.15 .didn't arrive till after 8. Pizza had to go in microwave focaccia was burnt .arriabichia just ok.

It's a little restaurant that does amazing pizzas. Proper Italian Pizzas that taste so good. There is also a little range of pastries and cakes that looked delicious although I didn't try any. The price is very reasonable and not too expensive.

Fantastic pizzas and even the fries taste amazing, a prompt service which is good value for money and you aren't waiting long for your meal. They also allow you to sit in with your own alcoholic drink and pay a small surcharge. Delicious Italian desserts available if you can fit anything in after your meal, well worth going back to time and time again....

Popped in today for lunch after a visit to the Lido. Food was delicious, honestly one of the nicest Ciabatta's i've tasted. Kids had pizza which they loved. Good coffee and reasonably priced.

Best food in Inverclyde. Really tastes like Italy. Love the fact they make authentic carbonara! Their pizzas look fantastic too! Simple ingredients. Had a wonderful homemade bread with spicy salami and rocket, it was honestly perfection. Go here!!!

Popped down here yesterday for lunch, and was very impressed with the food - some of the best pizza I've tasted! Would highly recommend if you like your pizza 😁
