I've stayed in this particular Premier Inn many times. It has the best view (if you book the waterside rooms) of any Premier Inn in the UK, in my opinion. The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast and dinner staff are polite and helpful. A special mention though for a young lady called Carla, who, although very busy, took the time to chat and update us on the many changes that have taken place since I lived in that area. She also introduced me to the Ice Coffee at the local Starbucks. Hopefully, the Premier Inn will add that to the breakfast options in the future too. We'll be back soon to check. 😉

Had a 3 night stay here to visit family across the Clyde. Location is ok just off the a8 but no traffic noise about 20 minute walk to Greenock. Friendly staff clean hotel though bit tired looking and probably due a refurb. Restaurant open for breakfast then again for evening meal. The things that let it down for our visit was breakfast in the restaurant is fixed £9 for continental breakfast or £11 for cooked breakfast and you can’t just ask for a couple of slices of toast. The heating in our room was hit/miss first night then went off altogether reported it to the guy on the reception desk he tried to fix it but couldn’t so instead of offering to change rooms he just said I’ll get a portable heater. As mentioned the hotel needs a refurb we were on the ground floor and the sound deadening was nonexistent the people in the room above us weren’t doing anything excessive but we heard every footstep.

I had an 8 week stay at the hotel and it was fantastic. The staff were always friendly and helpful, if there was an issue it was resolved instantly. The staff even got me a card and gift for my birthday, which gave the stay a personal touch that you don’t get anywhere else. I would highly recommend this hotel as it was always clean, comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly with a smile and gave a personal touch. The manager, Thomas was fantastic and nothing was ever too much bother.

Very run down and didn’t have a great experience! Reception staff friendly! Restaurant staff looked like they didn’t want to be there wasn’t a warm welcoming! Didnt enjoy dinner steaks were undercooked and waste of £40 no choice of drinks and no atmosphere in restaurant was doom and gloom! Worst experience had for a premier inn won’t be returning.

Free wifi is a joke. They give you a useless connection and offer a premium one for 5£ a DAY!!! After paying 165£ per night!!!. Without breakfast. Very poor service and not very clean.

Negatives: Ceiling is very poorly noise insulated. I was on the ground floor and could hear footsteps and basically everything above me, hardly slept the whole night. Other criticism includes; Rooms uncomfortably warm, I sweat all night with a fan running. Toilets not cleaned properly. Positives: Nice, friendly and helpful staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant.

The service was particularly warm and hospitable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had all we needed. The only reason I have given a 4 instead of a 5 was because of the breakfast. The choice was limited for both food and drinks (limited juuce options/no decaf tea). I have often stayed in a Premier, and the breakfast at Greenock did not compare with others. However, this may be a financial difficulty out of the hands of the staff.

The place was being refurbished while we were there but in common with a lot of premier inns vans and large vehicles took up a lot of parking spaces to the detriment of others by double parking

Hotel is overdue a refurbishment which is now planned. The restaurant attached is in house and greatly improved. The location is excellent. It's very quiet and there are tables outside where you can enjoy a drink overlooking the Firth

Nice stop over in Greenock Hotel was good, family room for 4, clean, and comfortable but a bit warm even in the cooler weather. Nice scenic location looking out on the Clyde estuary.

Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff, only 1 bath towel in room! Which was a double room! Only 2 sachets of sugar aswell, silly things like this spoil it. I probably would stay again.

On a cruise vacation stopped for an excursion and once complete we headed into town. We asked two separate shop clerks where they would recommend that we go for lunch... both recommended this restaurant without hesitation. My wife being vegetarian was easily able to find her choices from the menu. Our waitress was lovely tending to us and ensuring that we were pleased with our visit. The Pasta and sauce were AMAZING to the point I started telling the other patrons that "Rumor has it that the chef trained under Gordon Ramsey" It was THAT good!

Great pizza place! We were more than pleasantly surprised at how good this little pizzeria is. Very tasty, all imaginable variations, a pizza size that will satisfy everyone and at an unbeatable price. That's what makes a good pizza. We'll definitely be back - I hope you will too! Thanks for the delicious pizza!

Great food, price and service! KK has a wide variety of dishes that would suit your palette. I normally order my food through Clyde Eats App and I have always received my food piping hot and delicious well within the estimated time. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Thanks KK Chinese Restaurant. Side note.....my spend per person(£10 -£20) includes starter, main and delivery.

Good food but the wait for home delivery is disgraceful. No one should be waiting 2 hours for food. Absolutely ridiculous! Don’t get delivered unless you are happy to wait hours!
