TGINWGMB in Inverclyde

On a cruise vacation stopped for an excursion and once complete we headed into town. We asked two separate shop clerks where they would recommend that we go for lunch... both recommended this restaurant without hesitation. My wife being vegetarian was easily able to find her choices from the menu. Our waitress was lovely tending to us and ensuring that we were pleased with our visit. The Pasta and sauce were AMAZING to the point I started telling the other patrons that "Rumor has it that the chef trained under Gordon Ramsey" It was THAT good!

Just finished work and went in for fish n chip's for my tea omg never tasted anything like that the chip's must have been lying from last night l would say and cooked in dirty oil waste of£8,40 or what ever it cost lm doing food safety in work and l will bring this up for sure

Way over priced for a pizza that was dry, very little sauce or cheese, toppings also dry and tasteless, the place had no atmosphere and looked like a unit just painted in coffee colour with a few pictures on the wall, nothing Italian about the place, Staff pleasant enough but looked embarrassed to serve the food on offer

Was in tonight . Starter seemed like out a packet and main was awful . Really gone down hill . Ended up getting a top up from quincys Won’t be back Used to be a lovely place

Food mediocre, certainly not worth their prices. Owners made such a fuss about having phone on loud speaker even telling not to return .. Surely many ppl have hearing problems and have to loud speaker their phones. Hurry up new owners so we can professional service.

The place isn't as good as it used to be, only about 5 tables inside and no decorations on the walls any more (used to have large serving plates and things as decor) so looks like it's closing down. Food was nice enough, the 2 pasta dishes were lovely but the chips my daughter got weren't very nice and she didn't eat any of them. Used to be one of my favourite restaurants but just doesn't have much going for it any more.

Been going here since I was a kid , and I'm 42 , nothings changed , burger and chips with gravy is fantastic, also like the breaded fish , and the sausage egg n chips , quite expensive for a takeaway, also sit in restaurant, if in greenock for a day or two , a must

Just seen job advertised for KP Chip Prep on Indeed but they want you to clean the toilets to save them money hiring a cleaner.

Lovely food, relaxed atmosphere.

I was so disappointed after eating here recently. The starter I ordered was hugely overpriced at £5 for 6 tiny mushrooms and a mouthful of salad. On my next supermarket visit I picked 6 similar sized mushrooms which cost 30p. I messaged Arlecchino's Facebook page and could see it had been viewed however did not get a reply to my message. After more than 40 years of giving them my custom I won't be going back.

Came here and had the mac & cheese. Garlic bread and chips. Was great.

Steak sandwich, gluten free risotto and 2 boys very happy with their pizzas Recommended.

Got carry out tonight of burger and chips burger was OK but the chips were inedible looked like they were reheated. Very disappointed with food

Great coffee and fruit scones all with a delightful service. Couldn't fault it. Haven't been here since lockdown but it is still lovely. Mental note to self - Go here more often.

The vegan options are fantastic. We love the vegano pizza, vegan stir fry and of course the vegan chilli chips. Great value for money abs fast service.

Arlecchino never disappoints! Great for family and friends to have a good time. Tables can also be reserved if your going for a birthday lunch ect. Very staff friendly. And would recommend the lasagne if that's your kinda of thing! Sooo tasty 😋 Give it a blast 👌🏻

I've been here on a few occasions and never been disappointed. I live locally and tend to come here for a celebration e.g. birthday. There is a great choice of food, well presented and the staff are lovely. The place looks small from the outside but once you are inside it opens right up at the back and has a lovely ambience. Great place

Bought fisn .chips n couple of cheeseburgers last nite. All of it was inedible.their response was "im serving a customer ill speak to you when it suits me". No refund.no apology. Just total uninterest and couldnt give two hoots.after admitting that he reheats his chips several times before they are given to their victims. Sorry customers.disgusting service.

Staff were fantastic, food was excellent. Birra moretti on draft...... What more can i say. First time in the restaurant... Will definitely be going back.

Had a mix up with my order, went back to have it corrected. Girl serving was absolutely lovely about it all, however, the attitude from the owner was absolutely stinking. Huffed and puffed the whole time I was in the shop and if the way he spoke to me is the way he deems acceptable to talk to customers he’ll never see another penny off me again. Almost £6 for a steak sandwich with no steak is absolutely shocking.

Beautiful family place food was excellent and plate was massive had scampi and was delicious. Friendly staff and clean bathroom. Only thing I didn't like was no prices on menu for sit down xx

I got a take out meal from here recently. The lasagne was very disappointing. It was basically layers of pasta with a small amount of meat on top .

The place has no atmosphere we had to ask them to put the heating on, over cooked muscles and the drinks served in a brandy glass, It was whiskey!!!!!!!

A family run business. Good food & portions. Very popular with locals. What I had was sort of Italian with an English twist.

Purchased a 10 inch take away Pizza. Pizza was all base no topping, topping started about 5 or 6 centimetres from the edge, the sauce just about coloured the dough and very little cheese. They cut it up into 12 thin slices without asking, some of the slices had no topping apart from a slightly pink tint from the sauce. Through it away and will not go back. This is the second time I have been disappointed by the food, I used to love the food here but it is not the same.

Took 30 of my ( very noisy) family here for a Graduation celebration Staff were outstanding. Most pleasant staff I have came across where nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Looks very nice! Food is nothing 'Grande Cuisine' offers fast food and restaurant. I'd recommend going if your not bothered about 'fabulous' outcome. Their chips however.. AMAZING

Fantastic evening. The Montepulciano was an excellent accompaniment to our meal. Mozzarella starter, Scampi Provencale (exquisite) and my own Affogato kit!! Great service and warm cosy ambience. Look forward to my next visit!!

Always had great experiences here weather it's food to take away or dinning in no matter what time of day it is, really nice for an evening meal. Top marks for the staff as well with their great service, great place to take the kids as well👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
