Tulsi Indian Aroma in Inverclyde

Was fairly quiet when we ate here over a weekend. Nice decor but lacking a bit of atmosphere. We got 3 different starters. The onion bhajis were very tasty as was the aloo tiki. The chicken poori wasn’t anything special. The popadoms were very nice. The 3 curries were tasty enough but nothing special and not worth returning for. The prices were on the high side too. You can get much better for less money elsewhere locally.

My fiancé and i had an excellent thali lunch here , very generous portions with beautiful flavours at £10.95 each , such great value. We will definitely be returning thanks!

We went here for Christmas Dinner and had a lovely time. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were brilliant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. 10/10

Beautiful, clean Restaurant, friendly and attentive staff. Food first class. Extensive menu to choose from. Generous portions and not overly expensive. Quality experience. Would highly recommend and shall definitely return. Give it a try.

So this treat was from my kids (young adults) we were on a strict timescale and it was a last minute choice as the day was running away from us and is relatively nearby and we haven’t been here for a few years since it’s changed management. We were one of only two tables as it was late afternoon and this was ideal as we were served very quickly. The drinks were a bit of a let down sadly they defo were not coke or irn bru as we know it ! None of us had any alcohol so the taste difference was very noticeable but not unpleasant although the price considering it isn’t the real deal was a bit disappointing. The food however I could not fault it, the boys decided not to be brave and stick with the 3chilli hot scale while I opted for a 4chilli dish and they really enjoyed their food My lamb was perfect and I could defo have taken home a doggy bag and ate it all over again if I hadn’t been so hungry and ate the lot in one sitting lol my daughter though she was a bit disappointment with her tikka masala as the onions and peppers were more than a little Al dente and put her off eating the rest as her anxiety got the better of her now believing the food wasn’t cooked properly and no amount of insisting the veg would have been added to already properly cooked chicken could convince her to finish it which was a shame. The desert choices weren’t too bad although I think all of these are frozen bought in mostly and not a lot are freshly made

Tasty food South Indian Garlic and Chill Lamb ,very good but tasty, Chickpeas were lovely , Spicey Onions had a good kick, great service very helpful and friendly would definitely recommend

This was such a disappointment, the staff was a teenager with the quietest voice, had to repeat everything several times. I had to send the cola back because it smelled of disinfectant and was weak. Opt for a can! The 2 chilli lamb dish was just too hot so could not eat it. The paratha was a greasy disaster, doughy and tasteless. Could not eat it. Luckily we have a great other Indian in Gourock!

Wow! We ate here last night when in the area visiting family. The food was amazing, and authentically indian. They have a proper tandoor, and the naan was incredible - better than I've had in many places in India. All the starters and main courses were excellent as well. The service was also very friendly and relaxed, which I like. Will definitely be back again the next time we are in the area, as it's some of the best indian food I've had in a UK restaurant.

This is a great place to eat. Delicious food and very friendly, efficient staff. Plenty of tables and space and very central location.

Just had the best Indian meal in a long time here in the newly opened Tulsi in Gourock , great service , staff and of course the food. Tandoori mix grill sensational and my wife’s Madras was hot hot hot , just as she likes it, will defo be back 👍my new Indian place to go here in Gourock👍👍

Fantastic waitstaff at this Indian restaurant. The food is fresh and the naan is fantastic. I had the 2 course meal for L10.95. The samosas were good. The chicken curry was really good! Come in for a visit and stay awhile.

Newly opened Indian restaurant in town, so I thought that I’d give it a try for takeaway food. I downloaded the app and ordered online and elected to pay by cash when I went to collect it. The meal was nice and when I went to uplift it it was ready so everything was going well. Only when I looked at the bill did I notice that they had added a service charge! Now, in and of itself that’s not the end of the world but either I hadn’t noticed this extra charge on the app or it was hidden away in the small print. Either way it’s a bit sneaky adding a charge when there is no service. Whether this charge is only applied when you order online and not when you order at the restaurant I don’t know but intend to find ou. Overall the food was worth the money but the extra charge leaves a bit of a bad taste.
