The best restaurants in Inverclyde East Central Inverclyde Glasgow and Surrounding

We ordered food and they said cash only. No sign or board outside saying cash only. They don’t take card I believe it’s for tax purpose . wasted all out time coming here all the way from Glasgow. There was a lady who served us not great she didn’t give any option or not pleasant enough to serve customers.

Yet another cost cafe that has no bread at 11 am in the morning?if it’s no bread it’s no butter? Or no skimmed milk? It’s Bad stock management rather than a huge rush on toast sales!! Also sitting at a table with the air conditioner blowing freezing cold air directly onto any hot food and drinks isn’t the most pleasant experience especially on a very cold day outside! This sadly isn’t an isolated case but seems to be the norm across many of the Costa outlets all over? Not paying those prices to sit in a cold environment with a chill wind blowing down on you, if you can’t afford to heat the premises up then you shouldn’t be in business!! No one wants to sit in a cold cafe or restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful and clean inside, staff are amazing, even with a visual aide stick had no problem navigating and having room. Staff were attentive and food oh my word it is delicious, if you havent tried the cauliflower wings you need to they are soooo good my favourite item on the menu.

Total cluster. Dire service. No one seems to be in charge, order wrong, you wait forever..'fast' food....

Ate out of here a few times and usually good, but tonight got a scotch pie out of it along with a panko fish supper, the pie was not edible you couldn’t even cut through with knife, you would have needed a chisel. There was no way the staff member who cooked it or the staff member who wrapped the order up couldn’t have noticed just by looking at it that it was totally overcooked. Wouldn't even give to my dog incase it broke its teeth on it.

I have ordered from here for YEARS. Nearly every weekend. And always sang their praises. Well tonight I received the worst costumer service of my life. Firstly my order was wrong because it had no sauce on it which quite frankly I don’t want to eat it dry, so I simply called and asked for a replacement as it was already getting cold and I did not want just a tub sent to me. They were shouting at me, calling me a liar and saying there was sauce on the kebab and then changed their mind and said actually we put a tub in. Nope you did not. After a lot of back and forth and explaining I’m a Loyal customer, nearly every weekend. They then said ok we will send a new order to you with sauce on but it might be a while the driver is busy, that’s fine. Which I then learned that was also a lie. Nearly 2 hours later no order. I called and he shouted down the phone you weren’t to get another order we told you that. Which I said well that’s a lie you said you would send one out. I explained I have just finished a busy 12.5 hour shift in hospital, I’m pregnant and I took your word and now your telling me you lied to me. He was not empathetic, couldn’t give sh**. So whatever staff you have working tonight. Learn manners and how to deal with customers because you’ve lost one. And genuinely upset me. Thanks for that.

Ordered steak and asked for it to be extra well done , got it home was pink in middle, went back with it and was given abuse , not a happy customer, think they should give place a good clean

WHO PUTS COFFEE IN MATCHA?! TAKE IT OUT IF YOUR MENU IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT - RATHER THAN SELL CRAP

absolutely awful, ordered my niece chips curry sauce and onions. what she got was chips onion and curry paste slapped on top. phoned and told them and I was told no that's how the chef makes it. you mix it yourself, I have ordered the same thing on countless occasions and I have never had to mix my own curry paste flung on top. awful food, awful customer service. only silver lining was the delivery driver was polite and friendly.

Absolutely disgusting - every table needs clearing and cleaning! Awful!! No serviettes so had to use loo roll to wipe gravy off table.

The food in here is good, it's very cheap and quick ,staff are very friendly and helpful ,back again still decent .order and collected
