Just got a breakfast meal for my son and needed a bottle of water which was £1.89!!! Not even a good bottle of water. They paid 5p max for it is my guess. Absolute scandal! I avoid them more and more these days. What used to be a cheap alternative to take kids has turned into overpriced rubbish.

Yet another cost cafe that has no bread at 11 am in the morning?if it’s no bread it’s no butter? Or no skimmed milk? It’s Bad stock management rather than a huge rush on toast sales!! Also sitting at a table with the air conditioner blowing freezing cold air directly onto any hot food and drinks isn’t the most pleasant experience especially on a very cold day outside! This sadly isn’t an isolated case but seems to be the norm across many of the Costa outlets all over? Not paying those prices to sit in a cold environment with a chill wind blowing down on you, if you can’t afford to heat the premises up then you shouldn’t be in business!! No one wants to sit in a cold cafe or restaurant.

My mum has been diagnosed with caelics disease, and uts been hard to find places to eat. I called the waterwheel and the staff were so friendly and informative. When we arrived we were shown to our table and my mum was given a double sided gluten free menu. She was over the moon. There was so much choice, and we returned the next week to try something else on the menu. Well done, Waterwheel

I have ordered from here for YEARS. Nearly every weekend. And always sang their praises. Well tonight I received the worst costumer service of my life. Firstly my order was wrong because it had no sauce on it which quite frankly I don’t want to eat it dry, so I simply called and asked for a replacement as it was already getting cold and I did not want just a tub sent to me. They were shouting at me, calling me a liar and saying there was sauce on the kebab and then changed their mind and said actually we put a tub in. Nope you did not. After a lot of back and forth and explaining I’m a Loyal customer, nearly every weekend. They then said ok we will send a new order to you with sauce on but it might be a while the driver is busy, that’s fine. Which I then learned that was also a lie. Nearly 2 hours later no order. I called and he shouted down the phone you weren’t to get another order we told you that. Which I said well that’s a lie you said you would send one out. I explained I have just finished a busy 12.5 hour shift in hospital, I’m pregnant and I took your word and now your telling me you lied to me. He was not empathetic, couldn’t give sh**. So whatever staff you have working tonight. Learn manners and how to deal with customers because you’ve lost one. And genuinely upset me. Thanks for that.

Ordered steak and asked for it to be extra well done , got it home was pink in middle, went back with it and was given abuse , not a happy customer, think they should give place a good clean

Oh Dear !!! I’ve held back on reviewing this mcd’s, giving them the chance to get their act together. Went for my Sunday breakfast as a drive through customer. Waited at the ‘pod’ for 10 mins, waited a further 8 mins to eat to the pay window, 4 mins to reach the servery where I was held for another 10 mins. All staff seemed flustered and run off their feet, the number of inside customers and cars waiting didn’t reflect this. Anyway, drive off to a parking spot 2 mins away to find that my ‘mini hash browns’ had been substituted for a cold normal h/b and the ‘mighty McMuffin wasn’t much warmer. Have tried to take food back ere before to be met with blank looks and little else so not worth another 30+ mins of m time. Poor management, not staff.

Absolutely disgusted phoned order in at 8.10pm it's now 10pm and shop is showing as closed... so disappointed as I'm a regular customer ie sometimes 2 to 4 times a week that's 90 quid some weeks.... I will be calling to complain .... now need to look for other options .... sort your deliveries out .... I live 10 mins from shop if that, if they were struggling they could have called and I would of walked over to collect it....
