McDonald's in Inverclyde

Based on delivery , food was missing and the rest was cold. Missing food was credited rather than delivered, which meant I had to order again and wait 45 mins.

HORRIBLE service, the employees are very rude and they constantly get orders wrong!!!

Far to many staff standing in the the kitchen area, the person taking order's also in the back talking and customer's waiting to Book their order.

Drive thru.! Always have to wait for a plain quarter pounder! And it's never hot!

What an absolute shambles of a McDonald’s. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a McDonald’s so unorganised in my life. Ordered a fairly simple meal, waited 20 MINUTES whilst people who had been there before us and after us were being served at a completely random rate. One guy came in and explained he’d been waiting in the parked bay for so long and was clearly very upset. Staff seemed utterly clueless in the back, overheard them clearly saying “what order?” And are deliberately clearing orders off the board so from a management perspective they appear as if they’re doing well. Food was absolutely disgusting, burger buns were charcoal black, food and hot drinks were lukewarm at best. Will literally never come back here. Would rate -5/5 if I could.

My McDonald's review: Why do I go here? Because it's near to where I live. We popped in earlier for a quarter pounder with cheese meal, fries, a small cheese burger and caramel frappe. I paid the bill using my phone which pinged success and also get a receipt on the Google pay app. The server tells me it didn't go through and asked i pay again. I told her it did and she reiterated it didn't. When I asked for a cancellation receipt, she said her terminal had froze so couldn't give me one. I had to ask for a manager at that point. Sour face came over and asked me to refresh the app several times to see if I received a cancellation of payment. I did refresh and there wasn't one. He then told me this same thing happened to someone earlier and it did eventually go through. At that point my sister pointed out to him that his terminal had 'payment successful' on it. Now bear in mind, the server asked me to pay again, and he asked several times to refresh my payment app knowing this had happened to someone earlier. Anyway nearly ten minutes we waited for the order whilst watching them fill the milkshake machine and fulfil online orders for collection. After fiddling about with that, he then comes over and tells us the frappe wasn't working, and did we still want to wait for the burger. I'd have told him to stuff it but my sister was hungry having just travelled for 5 hours on a bus from the North of Scotland. Seriously, the face on the manager was sour. You'd have thought if taken a dump in his soup, but it was me that was being robbed, not them. This McDonald's never ceases to fall well below expectations. I hope every time I go there it's better than the time before, but it never is. More fool me for going. I'd give less than 1 star if I could

Service not bad occasionally food cold so check it before you leave

Ordered a caramel hot chocolate on the picture it has cream and I think chocolate sprinkles but when I opened the lid no cream also my wife’s latte was cold. We got it to takeaway but only walked across the road to the hotel so not like it was a long time before drinking them

Manager was more obsessed with chatting to her pathetic wee pals and then after her conversation she buggered off into the back to flirt with burger flippers. Do yourself a favour mark, fire everyone and start again ♥️

Food took ages to get handed over. The staff wasn't the problem just think management needs to have more staff on when it a weekend

Every time there is something missing from my order, this time it was 4 large fries.

It was actually the first time I've came away from McDonald's unhappy , there was no mcflurrys and no milkshakes , on a positive note the big mac was lovely as usual.got fishfinger and they were burnt to a crisp. Mamma bear was not happy atall 🤮

Orders constantly wrong. Barely take any notice to sit in orders, sometimes you have to go up 40-minutes after ordering a simple meal to remind them that you ordered food. Orders are ALWAYS wrong, underfilled, or missing items. Despite all this, online orders fly out the door like nobodies business while physical customers sit twiddling their thumbs. Disgrace. Really, one star is too much..

Literally the worst. Never get your order right, McFlurry always underfilled, and items are ALWAYS missing.

Dont know why i keep going back here, i go every month or so and to be honest in the last 2 years ive not had a meal correct. Just got home (15mins drive away) they forgot to put fries in with big mac meal, had to wait in waiting bay as they were cooking fresh fish fingers for the happy meal, got home and they were harder than chinese algebra, so they went in the bin. Tried to phone several times to let them know the fault and put my name in their wee book again to get free meals the next time i go. Dont know how many times my names in that book. I honestly dont know how the staff cant count to 3 and only put 2 items in the bag its scary and it baffles me. I once went to the drive thru and sat in the car park as i knew my order would be messed up, so went back in spoke to server, who apologised and fixed the meals, went back into car and was still wrong, went back inside spoke to manager who eventually fixed the issue. What chance you got if they cant get it right the first 2 times. Wish me luck tomorrow when i try get my free lunch. Will keep everyone updated 🤞🏻

The best McDonalds. Friendly staff, clean place, fast serving. was... now the serving is too slow, the food is bad quality. There are some good manager but the most crap/

Always get your order wrong never have I been and the orders all there ,theres always something wrong or missing Can't seem to make a banana milkshake never has flavouring

We ate veggie burgers which were hot and tasty with all the trimmings. Staff were efficient. Everything was clean There were a lot of customers.

This has got to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I went recently and their was no onions or pickles on both burgers. Obviously ran out but never told anyone that items would be missing. Was horrible. The staff can't be bothered. They need a new manager in this store. The food is always wrong . The McDonald's in port glasgow is so much better. Sort it out whoever is tuning this place wake up

Honestly one of the slowest takeaways known to man. For the size of it should be quick and efficient. They must cook the chips one at a time or something.

Half made burgers, toppings missing and stone cold chips. Asked for a couple of salt packets and they gave me no less than 15! Shame they're not so generous with the toppings that should have been on our burgers. Prices through the roof and standards down the drain... MacDonald's!

This McDonalds decides when it wants to be open. I stay on the same street and over the years this McDonald’s had closed at various times despite what the time on google says. Tonight the manager said they had closed the area for walk ins but the drive through was open. This was clearly just to get an earlier finish for the staff which is very unprofessional.

We placed a very straightforward order at the drive through..2 plain burgers ,one double cheeseburger fries one milkshake....had to wait well over 20 minutes for it and eventually went into the restaurant to enquire about it...we had seen customers who had arrived after us receive their orders and drive off. Our order was on the counter and had been there for quite some time apparently. However things got worse...what we received was incorrect and had started to get cold. We were so disgusted by then we just left. Very disappointing

I cannot believe how mcdonalds are this stupid for not respecting and restocking their milkshake supplies for the grimace shake. Obviously they would know that the grimace shake is high demand on the day of release also i am VERY DISAPPOINTED ALSO I AM FURIOUS

Last time missing 2 lots of chips, this time 2 vegetarian burgers at over £4 each with no burgers. Done with this branch. Terrible service!!

It's the 3rd time I've been served a regular latte in a large cup. I went back through the drive-through and got it changed. It's like whoever makes the drinks is like, haha. The girl taking the orders at the drive-through sounded as though Universal Credit has caught up with her. Sliding her window with aggression.

Food good service ok but even though given an number quite a number of people got their meal before us and our order was put in before them.

Do not get mcdonalds using uber or just eat they forgot kids chicken nuggets iv lost count on how many times they have done that and keep putting onions on burgers when told not to lost count on how many times they have done that

The staff in my local one in Greenock, always go the extra mile and are wonderful at making it a good experience 😀

Commenting on behalf of a friend that has had issues every time she’s ordered a delivery from here now. Literally the worst service you could imagine; half the order missing, no child’s toy plus incorrect drinks order. No one ever answers the phone. Avoid at all costs. This place is shocking.

Unfortunately this has to be one of the worst McDonald's in Scotland. Fries are always underdone, always being parked for basic menu items and staff think it is smart to give ice cream when you have been asked to park waiting on your food. Staff seem to have free reign to treat customers how they seem fit which is not even of a decent standard. Complaints are never dealt with by the store so result in sending an email to their complaints email.

the facility was not cleaned, the bathrooms were terrible 13 minutes of waiting for the order

McDonald's on a roadside . What more to say . But the food filled a gap for a wee while .

Do not go here. Waited for 15-20 minutes for food in restaurant. Got a fillet of fish with half a slice of cheese and the fish was overdone. Asked for another, but they just put more cheese in my burger. Who knows how that burger was handled behind the scenes!! The chips were cold and soggy so I asked for more, got very undercooked chips in return. No apologies for either. Asked for manager who came to table with angry face. Told her problems but she was not nice nor interested. Told me fillets always came with half cheese but they didn't. I used to work there and have had these burgers for years. I asked for my money back. No apology, was a horrible experience. No one in place seems happy, bothered about food or customers, wants to be there, takes pride in their work. Seems like children are running the show. A poor show!! I'm appalled. I think the lack of humanity was the most worrying part. Environmental Health officers might be interested too. McDonalds kitchens in the UK are now hidden [by design] and we the public can't see what's going on in there. From what I HAVE seen, it seems like a carry-on most of the time and employees hide from customers, so how do we know that standards are being met? My burger could have been tampered with on this occasion. Glad I didn't eat it. Complaint made online direct to company.

A busy lunch time. Having to suffer 2 drug addicts high as kites winding up the staff about orders placed and refused to leave the premises with drinks they had brought in. Compliments to the managers for keeping things under control with loud abusive thugs spoiling everyones lunch.

Eat at McDonald's knowing what it is. Fast food, not very good or healthy but cheap, quick and filling.

Had to wait for food to be ready, so I was told to wait in a bay, 40 minutes later, still no food, so I went in and got the food when I got home which is 5 minutes away if that I found that all my food was cold and stale which I didn't expect having waited 40 minutes.

Service was pretty slow and there were items missing from the order. They did get sorted but with a can't be annoyed attitude. The cleanliness was a bit off too. The children's slide outside had sauce all over it. Wasn't the greatest experience

Mcplant meal, with fanta, just what i needed to fill the lunchtime hunger. I used the drive through staff were polite and my order was correct. all good.

Went through drive throw just be told to wait round the corner in the bays with no bays and tail back up the carpark got shouted at by another driver, shouldn't be telling people to go the corner if the staff can't keep up with orders

Absolute chaos- staff concentrating on deliveries rather than serving customers in the restaurant. Quality of food was poor. After waiting 20 minutes I got a cold big mac which I had to take back which meant more waiting for a fresh one which meant my chips were cold.

Took 20 minutes for a burger in a non busy time. No one was operating the drive thru therefore cars were blocked in.

Shocking to wait 20mins for a frozen chips and a lukewarm burger. Attitude from staff is disgusting and clearly shows maturity level of a 5 year old when asked for a refund due to how long this “fast food” was taking. Just eat are priority so just shut the the restaurant and the toddlers can get their pre lunch nap as it clearly needed. Sweetdreams.

Awful! I hate McDonald’s. Don’t know who google asked me as I just drove by. Wouldn’t eat in there if they paid me, or Big Mac or Nando’s or KFC. Would rather cook something at home that isn’t processed, calorie packed junk. Bet they wish they hadn’t asked me now lol

Worst McDonald's I have ever been to, service was shocking. I had a burger that looked like a dog's dinner and tasted dreadful. The atmosphere was so bad I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. If I could give 0 stars I would have done so.👎👎

Tereible service at this site us it 2/3 days a week as my little boys has autism and only eats the chicken nugget. My other son doesn't like cheese on his burger and 9 times out of 10 there is always cheese on it. Which is bad enough when we sit in. But worse when we drive home and we have to bin it. This has been happening continuously for months now.

Ordered on app. Clearly stated what i wanted, yet received the wrong items. I received a milkshake instead of a Coca-Cola, and half of my burger's contents were missing. The restaurant was quiet, s there was no reason to make a mistake.

Very busy service was a bit slow. Same problem with all fast food places the coffee is weaker than wet paper bag. And the seating is as comfy as being stretched on the rack. I know it's designed to get you out quickly but it's still bloody uncomfortable.

Slow as anything, at any time , be aswell ordering on app for it to be took out to your vehicle, as if you go through drive through you will be sent round corner for even the smallest of order, currently sat outside for 20 mins while there no one in drive thru , for 6 nuggets and medium fries , not even a drink ( an an update still sat yer 40 minutes later no food )

Can never get an order right, asked for a tasty with only sauce and onion and got it with cheese and onions.. Went in the bin, absolute joke, they spend more time talking with each other than getting order's correct. They should read orders throughly cause someone is going to be ill. I constantly ask no cheese (allergic) and its put on.. not rocket science

Dreadful slow service. The place was quiet, but it took ages. It showed up as ready to collect but it was another 5 mins before it actually came. Supervisor handed it to as complete but it was missing the 2 breakfast rolls.

Always busy..order never right...and the ice cream machine never works, gave me food poisoning 😑
