Waterwheel in Inverclyde

Had a lovely meal at the waterwheel. I went for the carvery, had the beef, a little bit chucky in parts but overall tasty and the veg was great. Husband and son both had the cowboy burgers which they said were really good. Fab service from Mags.

This is our local pub/restaurant and it’s great. Sometimes we just come over for the great range of drinks or we come for the drinks and food. Food is your usual pub fare but it’s done well. The staff are fantastic, always happy to welcome you and have a smile when they do so. Would recommend if you are in the area!

Went for lunch with a friend. We both ordered a Kebab & fries: mine chicken, my friend's was donner meat. There didn't look to be too much on the plate at first but there was more than enough, and they were both lovely. As for the service, the staff are really lovely and always very attentive

Popped in with the missus for a few pints and snacks. The place is great and the staff are excellent. Big shout out to Mags, she is the best!

Great family friendly pub , we had a Sunday carvery which was lovely and service was great especially our waitesss ( mags ),it was also reasonably priced.

Returning customer and pleasantly surprised by the improvements of the food, it was nice before but tonight was outstanding. Quality and portion size was great value for money. Service was fantastic by Liam and Courtney, very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother. Nice atmosphere for a lovely family meal. Looking forward to returning soon.

We have been to the waterwheel a few times as it is so family friendly. Really like that there is a kids area as you don't need to worry that you are bothering others who want peace at lunch and it helps younger kids pass...

Mags was amazing WATP. She has been here since it opened and is constantly good at her job. We will return as we live close by and are regulars.

Out fir a meal and was the told we’re the first to try the new festive menu which mags told us all about and sounded fantastic.

Staff were amazing as usual and they have started doing carvery again and it was wonderful meat very tender roast potatoes perfect and Yorkshire puddings great nice to have it back on seven days again instead of just Sunday
