First time ever in place. Had the jambalaya, I think. Dynamite.

Nice food, good service and kids eat free. What else could you ask for.

Been going here for years and one of the best places to eat in town.. the staff are so lovely and always says hi and goes that extra mile for you. Food is absolutely delicious 😋.. Chicken sizzle is cracking!! Will always be back here 👍.. Well done to the staff at Tokyos!

First visit. Enjoyed great service, promptly served and tasty food. What's not to like?

This place has gone down hill ordered steak half edible tough and served raw chips loked like reheats for the prices they charge presentation of food needs to be looked at on a better note waitress was attentive and very pleasant

This place used to be amazing but the food has gone right down hill. The menu has drastically been reduced. Prices gone up, portion size smaller. The chips are terrible. Full of black bits, most of them left on the plate. Food just not the quality it used to be. The service I can't complain about but overall we won't be back. We used to be regulars in there, it was our favourite place to go for food but not anymore.

3 time this year. Excellent meal. All food delivered at the same time for 5. March 2024. Qualityof food good and very friendly staff. Choice of food selection great. 3 choices of white wine but only 1 of red.

This used to be GREAT to be in. Used to go here with family and was always pleased to be in here. Now though, 2024, its nothing like it was! I didnt like my food. Seemed like everything came with chips. No healthier options at all. No wonder my partner would never go here. Thats all I'm saying.

Came in for a light bite and a drink . We never seen the light bites option so ordered a couple of sides and drinks . I was going to get myself a coffee and cake and was told we had to order a kids meal as the manager was due in ? Our money is not good enough unless we’re ordering full meals ? The resteraunt was quiet and we felt we had to leave quick as we weren’t having full meals so I didn’t even get my coffee and cake . When the food was put down we weren’t even asked if we wanted sauces or anything can honestly say as customers we were left feeling embarrassed will definitely not be back here .

The service from ceri was so accommodating and fast!! was a pleasure to chat with her in-between courses.

Great straight fae. Staff were fantastic and contributed to a great time at Tokyo Joe's. Well worth a visit if you're in Greenock.

Ordered online for a delivery never arrived phoned told kitchen is now closed and to go down for a refund next day lassie now says they won't do any refund - thieving scumbags

Had an American burger , brioche bun was rock hard and the beef patties could of been confused for shoe leather. Chicken sizzler seems rushed,food took 7 min from time of ordering. Won't be back.

Lovely food friendly staff great prices

Go here a few times a month for around a decade now. Tokyo Joes have NEVER done us wrong. Always leave happy! Food has only ever improved, staff are always so polite and go out of their way to help.

Was very relaxing and great atmosphere

Food was honestly the best I've had in Inverclyde. The service I would have given more than 5 stars easily as the staff where amazing .can't really comment on the atmosphere as I wasn't there during a busy period but was still good

Shocking food microwave food . Taken 5 mins for the food to come to the table. Staff were not helpful at all got charged for something that wasn't on the dish and they said it was a lot bull and said the kitchen closes at 8 and they serviced someone food at hof 8

Food was nice atmosphere was good service excellent. We bit above average price but not enough to be a problem.

Love the steak pie in here and the prices are not too steep either. One of my favourites for a pub lunch.

Ok so firstly we've been going here for years at least once a year it's previously always been fantastic BUT after today I doubt we'd go back. So what was wrong? The food here used to be excellent and well priced today's wasn't we ordered two steaks 50% of each was edible the side orders didn't turn up the creamy peppercorn sauce was Bookers finest Chefs larder rubbish as was the Mayonnaise and ketchup service was slow and meals were pricey for what they were we'd have had a better time in Wetherspoons. You have lost an entire family of regular customers.

A welcoming restaurant that seems popular with Greenock locals. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. One diner was pleased with the pesto pasta, attractively presented in a large pasta bowl and steaming hot. The other diner ordered a mixture of Indian appetizers that were tasty and filling. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

There for family lunch menu has change, prices have gone up but portion size has got smaller plus you no longer get garlic bread with your pasta dishes you have to buy your it as an extra now. My pasta was cold and had way to much garlic in it had to send it back. Yes I got a fresh one made which was much better and was given a garlic bread. We still won’t be ack as the prices for what you get are to much. Yes put prices up but keep portion size the same with the garlic bread. Thanks for replying to my review. Like I said on my review that I did get a fresh pasta made for me & I did say we got a garlic bread and it was much better so thanks. As for your cheeky comment at the bottom of your review I think it was uncalled for as I will pay any price for food I get that is worth the money and your portion size is not worth the money. Also my family come to your pub on a regular bases for food as it was one of the best places to eat, but we will defo not be back for the cheeky comments as this is not the proper way to respond to a customer’s review. I also see you haven’t responded to the other reviews that said the food was to expensive for what you get.

The food is definitely not worth the price you pay why put prices up n reduce the portions its just profiteering at the expense of the customer when everything is individually priced including the garlic bread which you used to get with your pasta dish free but they are now charging you for it wont be back here again over priced food for very little on the plate

Took Hubby out for Fathers day meal. Very helpful staff as I struggle with anxiety & depression just now & they sat us somewhere quiet. Food was excellent and great prices.

Tokyo Joe's is an amazing place to go with anyone! It's a lovely wee place , my partner and myself come here alot when he's up from England and loved the sharing platter! Hope they bring it back soon as it was just enough on the platter to share! Staff are friendly and lovely Food is amazing! Definitely would be back again! We love this place,

Went on a Friday tea time and was not very busy. Ordered a lasagne and my daughter had a cajun pasta dish. Waited almost 30 mins for food to come and when it finally arrived the lasagne was sizzling in the dish. All the edges were burnt solid and to be honest, it was mainly melted cheese. Very peppery and stodgy. My daughter said her cajun chicken pasta was nice but very spicy. We had 2 cokes ( small bottles) and 1 pint of cider. The bill came to £34 which I thought was dear for the quality of the food

Quiet when I went in however got busy quickly. Service was good. Stayed for a few then moved on as the place was filling up with dinners.

Nipped in for a wee bite, food good, menu could have had a larger selection but for a quick lunch was fine, will definitely go back, maybe try the burger 🍔 🤓

The food is good but you don't get much of it for the price you pay . I used to go there all the time and get chick enchiladas. They used to be the full size of a big plate . Went on Saturday and it was half the size . My husband got the sizzling beef .it wasn't even sizzling. Mmm good but pricey for wot your getting

Went in for breakfast only one option, just as well we weren't vegetarians, most items deep fat fried, quite expensive.

Was"ok" if you like all your breakfast out the deep fat fryer,. Coffee wasn't FYI.

Having moved away when we visit home we come here.Havent been dissapointed ,since new owners have taken over, food is done exceptionally well, portions are just right that i can do 3 courses and feel perfectly satisfied (gives me happy tummy face lol) Staff are friendly ,service with a smile from every one quick and efficient. Today was our 2nd visit since Tokyo Joe's has had new owners and we loved it. The inside is modern as well as cosy with great music in the background. The girls who served us were lovely. Very good coffee. I had the lasagna which was excellent. My 14 year old (fussy) grandson had enchiladas and gave this and the hot fudge cake 10/10, praise indeed. Looking forward to going back.

Great variety on the menu and our whole party (6 people) meals were really tasty. Excellent value for money and a lovely setting. Definitely recommend the strawberry dacquri’s!

Not been here in years. New decor, new menu. Love how it looks now, and the new menu is really tasty! I'm fussy when it comes to certain foods, and they didn't disappoint. If anything, they exceeded expectations. Family friendly, has a beer garden out back also. Highly recommended

Popped in to try something new. Very good value for money, large variety of menu choices. Bargain specials menu and lovely staff. I had garlic mushrooms then chicken and chorizo pasta for £14.95.

This was our first time in here, I had the American chicken burger, my husband had the steak pie & my son had the goujons from the kids menu. Honestly can’t fault any part of our food, top quality, lovely presentation & the staff extremely attentive & helpful. This definitely won’t be our last time in here extremely happy from start to finish

Staff very good nothing Is problem

Family visit so lunch today service was excellent we were all made to feel welcome and the interaction with staff and my youngest boy who is 3 was superb The food was a terrific standard as always. well presented and delicious will definitely be making regular visits back at Tokyo's 👍

Ate here (well when I say ate, I mean nibbled some some rice from my beef stroganoff) recently and it was the first time I've ever left 85% of my meal on the plate. The beef was like a pizza box that had been left outside in the sun all day and just as edible. The waitress didn't even ask how our meal was at any time, although maybe that was fairly obvious from the amount of food left on my plate. I have given this restaurant 1 star, as the chef must have some talent to make something so inedible!!!!!

We had a very enjoyable early evening meal as we had been out shopping in the afternoon. Service was excellent and food was really good. My husbands favourite is the mac/ cheese which did not dissapoint. Would definitely return Helen/Stuart.

Service was very slow. We were in on Sunday about 3pm. Seemed to be only 2 staff on.

Went for lunch was beautiful and tasty me and my partner both enjoyed our meals and drinks staff were very pleasant and approachable and the place is very clean to, we are planning next visit this weekend.

Was in on Saturday night for family birthday meal,we love going to Tokyo's,but on Saturday night the food was terrible,firstly we asked for chicken sizzle without peppers it came with peppers got took away to take peppers out waitress left the plate with chips and rice when chicken came back rice and chips were cold, I ordered peppered beef and got a plate of stew ,chef cam out and said it's a new meat there trying he agreed it's not same ,never said sorry or offered anything, was so disappointed as it spoilt our night as not one of us enjoyed our meals
