The best restaurants in Inverleith Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

My husband and I went for dinner here with our 16 m o before attending the Botanics at night event. Service was good and food was great. The staff were also really good with our son. Particularly love that they offer child portions of almost everything in the main menu rather than just something fried and chips! Only thing that was missing is they don't have baby changing facilities. However the staff were able to provide a private space for us to do a nappy change when required and were very apologetic not to have a space. We are already planning to go back soon 😊

Kimchi jjigae was unique and Food was delicious. Lovely and friendly lady. Mom really enjoyed talking to her. Keep up the good work 👍👍

El personal era amable y servicial y dar más allá del servicio al cliente. Tienen una maravillosa selección de quesos, carnes y panes. La tienda es un verdadero tesoro de golosinas y delicias. Sus patés también son deliciosos.

Very tasty food except the hot foods. those are toooo hot and tasted like chilli powder just boiled for the sake of it. not eatable by humans. Apart from this, All other food items like mango chicken, malai chicken etc were delicious. worth ordering for 60+ pounds.

Qué bar fantástico. Noche de diciembre. Fuego ardiendo. Pub lleno. No habíamos reservado, pero el personal del bar ordenado está fuera. La comida era increíble. Juego Pie 10 / 10. La joven que nos atendió (chica rubia cuyo nombre no me dieron) nunca paró. Gracias.

I really enjoyed this meal. Food was excellent and so was the service. Great atmosphere inside. Quirky little basement restaurant, glad we saw it as we passed.

My partner and I eat at The Cove regularly and enjoy it immensely every time! We took friends last night and they loved it too. Great food, lovely staff, comfortable environment. Well worth a visit!

Encontramos este lugar en línea y tuvimos que probarlo. Creo que solo caminan - en y cuando llegamos, la camarera era increíblemente disculpa que tendríamos que esperar 5 minutos para una mesa - totalmente innecesario, pero nos hizo sentir apreciados. Teníamos asientos de bar que nos dio fácil acceso al sumiller y todos sus conocimientos. Pedimos una selección de quesos y una botella de vino de la tabla de ofertas. El personal era insuperable (parece ser un tema de carrera en todos los lugares de Edimburgo que visitamos). Gran lugar tenuemente iluminado, íntimo. La música jazzística de fondo completó el ambiente. Creo que la acústica del restaurante / bar era bastante ruidosa al ser una habitación cuadrada con poco en el camino muebles suaves (vi a unas cuantas personas luchando por escucharse al otro lado de sus mesas) pero como estábamos sentados uno al lado del otro, no tuvimos problemas. Sin quejas. Sin duda recomendaría para una cita de noche o grupo muy pequeño de amigos < 4 personas.

Worst pizza I ever had in Edinburgh by far. Both of us got terrible gastric problems the next morning. Smelled awful, tasted like plastic, smelled rotten with spices. My colleague said had a similar experience accompanied by stomach cramps. Don't even dare to order from there. Oh yes, overpriced.

A proper place to get some good food with outstanding service. Place is more for locals and that explains, in my opinion, the great service. Food is at it's best. 10+ for the trying of the affogato but the affogato itself was so-so. Anyway, if you look for the seriously good spot to have some very good food, look no further, you have arrived to the right place.

I've had many incredible meals at Taisteal over the years, its one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh. But I wanted to leave a review after my most recent visit because it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the chicken noodle soup, followed by the teriyaki venison and it was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always perfect too - a good buzz but never overly noisy. The customer service is always a highlight too - me and my pals left feeling very spoilt. Great traditional bar with fantastic beers, wines and whisky. Bar team are really friendly, the atmosphere is condusive to chat as no banging music! Great little find, close to our weekend accommodation

Love the vibe and feel of Betty and George. Charmingly laid back, welcoming for people and dogs too. A local and friendly place with healthy salads and lots more sugary treats and things that are scrumptious. Lovely selection of soups and sandwiches. I'd love to have a weekly "special" take-away sandwich so there's a wee change now and again for that take-away experience!

Wrap de pollo, tocino y avo inmaculadamente crujiente y sabroso. Batido jugoso y afrutado lleno de sabor. Me encantaría maltesa una barra de pudín. Personal encantador y servicio rápido. Lo recomendaría si está buscando un pequeño y encantador café en Edimburgo.
