I would only go here to see a play as it is a fairly run of the mill bar and cafe but its very friendly and staff are great. Nice surroundings. It was better before the pandemic

We came here for breakfast as we had an early flight and we were delighted with the service and with what we choose The granola, pastry and coffee was really good..

We visited here during our Edinburgh trip today (22.07.2024). We were looking for a nice cake to go with our coffee only to be horrified in seeing LOADS of flies crawling all over them! We alerted a member of staff whose response was “cover these up”. They decided to wrap cling film over them!!! After flies had crawled all over them!!! Disgusting, the amount of flies was vile, the cakes should have been binned, we then watched as they continued to serve these to poor customers who had not known. This is a serious breach of health and hygiene and I am absolutely disgusted. we will not be back.

Los baños son horribles y para ser honesto ya no es un buen lugar para ir Todavía digo que el café es genial, pero tienen que ponerse las pilas y entrenar al personal y limpiar este lugar o los clientes dejarán de ir con razón

Amazing food, quality and quantity. May not be the most vast of menus but lovely choice. Excellent margarita 🍹 and choice of drinks. Nice ambience and excellent service

Awful.no vegan or vegetarian food.apparently ran out.no hot water.ran out of cups.tables dirty with most tables still having previous diners plates.staff dour faced and not interested.

They offer delivery but it takes 90 minutes. When you bring this up with them, they say Just Eat estimates 90 minutes. Most people don't order food 90 minutes ahead of time. If you complain, they tell you to pick it up yourself (I guess they assume everyone owns a car or is do not have additional needs that rely on delivery). Don't waste your time. The staff are rude, and the wait times are ridiculous.

Food was great. Service was slow. Would recommend to family and friend who would come to Edinburgh. Enjoyed my snails food.

I came to the pavilion cafe with friends for drinks. The bar had very good music, staff member (Kinga) was very approachable and smiley. Amazing views and atmosphere lovely place to sit and have a drink whilst seeing the sights of Edinburgh!

Really disappointed. Ordered quite a few dishes and all were cold, dried out and sickly sweet. 80% went in the bin. Will not be ordering from here again
