How this is not a Michelin star restaurant let alone Michelin guide is beyond me. Iv eaten in a few Michelin stars that could take a few lessons from this place and its incredible value. No other restaurant setting like it really One of a kind. People may try and replicate it but what they won’t have is Sean at the pass.
First time visiting here. So difficult to get anywhere that caters for vegetarians, vegans, plant based …. Other than a town vegan burger or pasta. This place hits the nail on the head. Fresh, quality ingredients with super tasty unique dishes. The setting is intimate and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to visit again!!
I had lunch there today with my boyfriend because we got hungry while shopping on that street.
For us vegans, it was perfect since almost everything on the menu is vegan. We each had a falafel wrap and shared a spinach pastry and a vegan crunch bar.
The space inside is quite small, but there's still enough room for four separate pairs or individuals to sit comfortably.. though it does require a bit of squeezing past each other. The interior is decorated with a lot of Lebanese elements, which creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Price-wise, there's nothing to complain about, and the staff were very friendly, chatting with many regular customers.
This place is a real gem! Restaurant owner Omar provides super tasty food that's full of flavour and freshness. We started with the Salata Asward - be prepared for the most exquisite falafel you have ever tasted! We then had two great mains: Marjakhis and Mossagaa dish, we asked for spicy and Omar prepared a wonderful chilli sauce and added fresh green chilli to one of the dishes. To our surprise, Omar brought us fresh mint tea with yummy dates to finish our lovely meal. He is so attentive and with a real passion for the Sudanese food and hospitality he grew up with. We strongly recommend this cute little place. It is not to be overlooked 🤩
Very happy vegan girl here 🥰 the vegan cheese board is delicious and absolutely worth trying! The environment is cozy and welcoming and the service is great too.
A 15 minute walk from our Edinburgh hotel took us to Croall Place in Edinburgh’s end of Leith Walk. There a lovely little restaurant serves delicious and imaginative food. We were welcomed made to feel well at home and settled-in with glasses of Prmitivo rosé and can say we really enjoyed the meal presentation and taste of our Wallnut dishes.
Lovely little authentic Italian restaurant, the owners and staff are really friendly and have amazing customer service. Their food is unreal and could not recommend this restaurant enough if in Edinburgh! Defo worth the visit!
