We visited Nick’s for Sunday lunch while staying in the area. Nick’s offers a great setting to enjoy any meal. Staff were very knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Food was fresh and cooked to order using local ingredients. Portion sizes are good and we went away very satisfied. We both would recommend.

What an absolute Gem of a place! We were staying for a week near by at Glen Finglas and had passed this place several times on our way out. It has quite a reputation for its excellent homemade cakes, coffee, and wholesome homemade food.Opening times(at this time of year) are restricted to Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon and so we only managed to visit once on the Fri before we left. It was very busy but it was a beautiful day and there was plenty of seating outside if required and several parking places also. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly owner who allocated us a table and the wait was explained to us. The wait was certainly worth it when our homemade soup with home baked ciabatta bread arrived with lovely coffee! Both were delicious. The cakes also looked yummy too but we didn't indulge! There were also healthy salads and vegan food available. While we were waiting I also made friends with the owner's delightful black and white gentle, friendly and affectionate border collie. Obviously this place is dog friendly. The cafe was spotlessly clean,( I'm very fussy ) warm welcoming and a little Quirky which we loved. The owner does a terrific job of making this small business work very well. It's a real Gem away from the busier cafe's in Callandar and we look forward to returning and sampling the cakes as well the next time we're staying in the area. we would both highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful little bakery in Aberfoyle. We popped in to find some treats to take home after our holiday- ended up buying half the shop lol! Staff were delightful and very friendly and can be watched making the shop's goods. Lovely products from traditional Scottish gifts to biscuits, cakes, jams and chutneys. All very reasonably priced and packaged so beautifully we bought lots of items as gifts. We bought a Mars tray bake, lemon and elderberry and Tea cakes, shortbreads and numerous flavours of cookies. All were absolutely delicious and melt-in-the-mouth. An absolute must-visit if anywhere in the area. Will definitely be ordering more online, thank you!

I am slowly making my way through Euan's menu. I have not found anything not to like so far. The mussels in garlic and bacon cream served with pasta was my latest try and it was delicious. Food comes out in good time and is well presented and tasty. Good selection of drinks. Competitive prices. Fabulous Coffee - the best I have tasted.

What a great place to stop off for lunch. Great welcome, convers and service from Robert who is barman and waiter This is about a far removed from a chain pub with plastic decor and food and fake continental lager as you can get. The home made steak and ale pie was wonderful, served with a generous selection of vegetables and chips - all beautifully cooked and served hot. My wife had the home made mushroom, wholegrain mustard and tarragon soup - possibly the best mushroom soup she's ever tasted - together with a fresh cooked baguette filled with prawns and rose Marie sauce. Three real ales on tap from the Lade Brewery - again superb. There's even a real ale shop on site. Fantastic. Worth the drive from Loch Lomond for the soup alone. Oh, and less expensive than chain pubs as well. Our best food and drink experience this holiday and will definitely visit again in the future.

Just so lovely to have lunch, and there is a good selection of vegan and gluten free alternatives, for those who need it. The wife had a lovely baked potato with vegan ‘sheese’ and red onion. I had a toastie. Lots of little things you can buy around the shop too, which was nice. Just a lovely warming place, when it was so cold outside 😁🥰

We stopped here on our way from Glenfinnan to Edinburgh and had a lovely snack of perfectly prepared flat whites and delicious raspberry coconut bars. Andrea provided super friendly service while Tim brewed the excellent coffees. We enjoyed our visit to this quirky and charming cafe with its shark toilet and hope to return!

The setting was nice but my food was so salty, I could not eat it. Basic fish n chips which tasted like the fish, batter and chips were all quadruple salted. Turned me off of fish or chips until the last night of my trip when I had decent fish again. I would not recommend.
