Wonderful little bakery in Aberfoyle. We popped in to find some treats to take home after our holiday- ended up buying half the shop lol! Staff were delightful and very friendly and can be watched making the shop's goods. Lovely products from traditional Scottish gifts to biscuits, cakes, jams and chutneys. All very reasonably priced and packaged so beautifully we bought lots of items as gifts. We bought a Mars tray bake, lemon and elderberry and Tea cakes, shortbreads and numerous flavours of cookies. All were absolutely delicious and melt-in-the-mouth. An absolute must-visit if anywhere in the area. Will definitely be ordering more online, thank you!

Bought a latte, cappuccino and biscuits. Excellent quality. Would have bought more as shop has loads of delicious things to eat and interesting gifts, but we are walking so would have to carry anything bought! Also so friendly. Very interested in our day and shared lots of local knowledge

I would definitely recommend coming here for a snack! The food is baked in the shop right in front of you! Wide selection of cake. Fresh food. Very friendly staff. Clean inside.

This bakery in Aberfoyle is NOT to be missed. We visited 3 times in 6 days! The variety of baked goods is remarkable. They are all delicious. We bought the tablet for a Scottish friend of ours (we were visiting from Canada) who told us "this is the best tablet I have ever had." We tried it and it was delicious. Her Gingerbread cake was also delicious. Other top favourites were the Empire Biscuits and the scones (all flavours - yes, we tried them all). Her tablet cake was quite a unique creation. Maggie does a great job of having excellent taste and great baking, without being too sweet! Be sure to make time to speak with Maggie - she is awesome. She will likely take you around the shop and point out all her favourites to you. Honestly, buy anything she recommends. The staff are friendly too and they all clearly enjoy working in this bakery with Maggie. Do not miss this bakery. We are looking forward to a return visit in to Scotland September and Maggie's is top on the list of "must-visit places"

My wife stayed and ate at Victoria Square. On street parking in the evenings/night. Very quiet area. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Both the full Scottish breakfast and dinner at the Orangery were great. Of the best meals of our time in Scotland. Loved the ambiance in the "greenhouse". Highly recommend!

What a great place to stop off for lunch. Great welcome, convers and service from Robert who is barman and waiter This is about a far removed from a chain pub with plastic decor and food and fake continental lager as you can get. The home made steak and ale pie was wonderful, served with a generous selection of vegetables and chips - all beautifully cooked and served hot. My wife had the home made mushroom, wholegrain mustard and tarragon soup - possibly the best mushroom soup she's ever tasted - together with a fresh cooked baguette filled with prawns and rose Marie sauce. Three real ales on tap from the Lade Brewery - again superb. There's even a real ale shop on site. Fantastic. Worth the drive from Loch Lomond for the soup alone. Oh, and less expensive than chain pubs as well. Our best food and drink experience this holiday and will definitely visit again in the future.
