The best restaurants in Kirkcaldy East Fife Central Scotland

At 3.15pm today staff (particularly one male member)were hovering around our table, cleaning and brushing around adjacent vacant tables. Aa soon as they thought we were had finished our drinks, they were asking if they could take them away. Not a relaxed or enjoyable atmosphere to enjoy a coffee and cake. The advertised closing time for the cafe on a Saturday is 4.45pm. Not impressed at all.

My wife and I visited this cosy Italian restaurant for dinner during a short stay in Kirkaldy. We enjoyed our meal immensely. The staff were both very friendly and attentive despite them being very busy. Prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable. When we are next in the area, we will definitely make a point of visiting again.

I got my first takeaway today, it's just what I needed. Big portions, yummy food and very fast service.

I visited this café today with my friend, we are both dairy intolerant and there were no cakes/ biscuits or even a dairy free milk substitute to have in our tea, I thought that all restaurant's were supposed to offer this service, the staff were very unsympathetic and offered me crisps, I will tell all my friends and family NOT to visit.

Over the past 4 years I have purchased a gift voucher at Christmas for family members who live in Scotland to have High Tea at the Victoria Hotel. I rang as usual to organise the gift voucher via post as normal to be informed by the manager that they cannot accommodate this. All vouchers have to be collected at the hotel in person - I explained I lived in Newcastle so this was not practicable. I asked about posting or an email voucher but was told no they couldn’t. I find this extremely disappointing that there was no flexibility to accommodate my request. Normally I never write reviews but I felt the need to express my frustration about the lack of customer service today.

Dropped in for a cupcake and latte .Nice friendly girl behind the counter . Lovely selection of cakes and scones . The latte was really good and I would certainly try the cupcakes again . The cafe also has a site on Facebook

Great wee chippy even better it's practically on my doorstep, This is my go to place for fish n chips and it's always delicious, It's been recently taken over and i think it's actually gotten better, Pretty reasonable price and friendly welcoming staff and the shops always spotless, Keep up the good work guys 👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went in tonight ordered a half portion of chickhen fried rice with curry sauce which usually cost £5-50 but tonight was charged £8 and was told it was going up again soon. The shop has been taken over by a couple of young boys as the old couple have retired. The chickhen fried rice was not as good as the old couple cooked and won’t be back soon.

Good food , reasonably priced. Its a take away so expect/accept there can be wait for food. (Good sign of popularity) Banter/chat as much or little as you prefer at ordering desk.

Great pub with live music most Friday and Saturday evenings.

Bit disappointed in food , ordered chicken milanese with chips . And that's what came a slice of breaded chicken and few chips , no sauce no veg no salad . Defo not worth 15 pound
