Pane E Vino in Fife

I had a delivery from pane e vino and I got my sea food spaghetti as usual. I was so disappointed first they got my address wrong so it was freezing. Then they charged for the tiny tub of parmasan cheese. The spaghetti only had 2 muscles and 3 prawns in it. Not the usual quality. It cost for all the meal £36.10 a total waste of money.

Food is nice but service you get from Erkan is great always so friendly helpful and takes time and interest in the customers the owner needs to take a leaf out Erkans page of how to treat customers as he is very rude,

Came here for a birthday dinner with 7 of us and it was amazing, i have the spaghetti al americano and it was cooked beautifully, service was quick and we didn’t have to wait long for food, overall amazing experience well done to the team who did a stunning job, keep up the hard work and we will be back soon

We love going to Pane e Vino! My husband and I have gone to Pane e Vinos occasionally for years. For this visit we brought not only our three young kids but also our family visiting from overseas as well. The service was attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. The food was fresh, served quickly, hot and delicious. I candidly mentioned that it was my mother's birthday, not expecting anything, and they surprised us by playing loud happy birthday music and everyone sang happy birthday as they served my mother an ice cream with a single lit candle for her to blow out. It made the whole experience so memorable. It was a great night. We will be back!

Always good! I love the lasagne and the other pastas are nice too, we even had it delivered and the food was still as fresh and warm as you would expect

Food used to be 1st class. However, carbanara was tasteless and weak. Pizza was ok at best. Chips were awful and overcooked. Best thing about whole experience was the young waitress. She was outstanding! She needs a promotion and a wage rise! Give your chef a kick up the bum. Must do better .

Went there with family group. Had a lovey deep fried mushrooms for starter and parmigiana Melanzane, delicious. Friendly staff and quick service.

Positive: Excellent food and friendly staff. Lots of choice on menu. Been going for years always good tasty food. Negative: It can be chilly in the restaurant during winter months. Better to go Spring-autumn months.

Meal arrived very quickly - under 5 minutes, which is good but how do you cook fresh chicken breast in that time unless precooked and put in the microwave? It turned out the chicken was extremely tough, carrots & Broccoli was well over cooked.l have been here before many years ago and l knew it was mediocre but l will never go back again

My Granddaughter chose this restaurant for her 15th birthday, there were 8 of us. 3 couples,each asked for their pasta and pizza to be shared between them as I’ve done in many Italian restaurants. We were told no problem and the meals arrived very quickly and just as everyone asked. The food was delicious and could not be faulted. The bill arrived and there was a charge of £8.40 on the bill which we couldn’t recall. Turns out the charge was for the pizza and pasta being divided 3 times @ £2.80 a split. So if we had divided it ourselves at the table there would be no charge. We all agreed it was ridiculous and as a result didn’t leave a tip which was a shame as the waiter was very good.

As a loyal customer I feel very disappointed with my takeaway tonight(11/09/23). My starter of breaded mushrooms were lacking in mushrooms, 3 mushrooms is just not good enough when it is normally 6. Cutting them up to 6 pieces does not change the fact portion sizes have decreased, changing same price over £5 is shocking I feel disappointed . Also main meal tagliatelle Pane E Vino was taste less and uneatable. I will not be returning if this is the quality of food now being served.

We called in on a very quiet Monday, early evening. We were served by Jai, very attentive, friendly and considerate. He spoke highly of the dishes we chose and rightly so, they were tasty. We will definately return in the future.

Seriously poor service, underwhelming food, but shockingly watched as waiter cleared a table close to ours, which included some red wine left in a glass … instead of the glass being deposited with the other used dishes and utensils for cleaning, the glass was taken to the bar where the owner poured the remaining amount into a carafe, clearly with the intent to be used for an unsuspecting next customer looking to enjoy a glass of red wine … shocking!

Warm welcome and beautiful, fresh food. Friendly, helpful team, quick and efficient service. Lovely restaurant atmosphere. Highly recommend the Rigatone Braveheart which was packed with fresh smoked haddock, peas and a rich cream sauce. Consistently excellent every time you visit. 👌

Typical Italian restaurant, nice enough but nothing fancy, mind you I'm not sure that's what they're aiming for! The soups and pastas and rissotos are all good and generous, and service is fast and friendly. Delivery is usually quick. Won't break the bank either. If it's not broke don't fix it!

Decided on a date night, my partner had been here in years gone by so we thought; why not? Never ever again. Rushed to a seat at a table that you can’t get your knees under. No drinks order taken, rushed in to making a menu choice with your drink, starter with you within a minute - calamari and pate… pate was actually ok in itself but soggy charged bread and the ‘calamari’ is tasteless. Main out within 5 minutes of this, ‘seafood’ pasta was absolutely disgusting. The prawns went to mush on bite and whatever else was like eating a car tyre. Clearly frozen and microwaved. ‘Carbonara’ was like a 2 year olds dinner pot and tasted like it! Whole experience lasted 25 minutes at best and sent us away miserable. I’ve had better experiences at the doctors.

Had high hopes, restaurant looked good, was clean, menu looked good, easy to park…… But there ends what could have been a great review. Staff weren’t interested, keener to get you out fast so they could go home. Food was average, pizza wasn’t cooked all the way through, we were never asked if the meal was ok, Real shame, could have been great…..

Never disappoints, food is amazing, staff pleasant and restaurant is a nice environment. Service is normally very quick but we like this, have never personally felt “rushed out the door“. Only complaint is the lack of legroom under some tables in the middle of the room but there are plenty other seats, I would not let this put you off. Wouldn‘t go anywhere else in Kirkcaldy for an Italian.

We were at pane e vino yesterday, not our first visit. We had previously booked a table, so they know we were coming. We were hurried to a both to sit, not much room and the table is bigger than the bench seat, not much leg room and overall a bit cramped. From entering the restaurant until leaving we were in for an hour. That is for a starter and main and two rounds of drinks. I have been longer in a fast food restaurant. I have never felt so rushed in my life. You go out on a Saturday night for a family meal for an enjoyable evening, but I am sure heart burn was the main winner. Please let us enjoy our evening or don’t take our booking. The only good side was the food, as always enjoyable but not again I’m afraid, I want to enjoy myself and enjoy the food. If I wanted a quick bit I would have gone to KFC.

Booked a table 3 weeks in advance for mothers day as me and my family visit often and have always had good food. Again on this visit food was faultless, however, the manager is most definelty not. The minute we stepped in the place the atmosphere was horrific and we soon understood why... Manager showed us to our table and shoots off, 3 words spoken in this time. While we were waiting for our order to be taken you could hear and see him speak so unprofessionally to his staff, it was very awkward. You could see the staff where working really hard as it was busy due to being mothers day. We gets our order taken and he was very abrupt and rushed. He throws food on the table and walks away, I politely said excuse me and asked for some pamazan, well on that note he was incredibly rude, shouts give me a minute would you! While he was applying the pamasan he starts of in a heated tantrum at me to the point people where looking at us. He asked where i worked and would i expect customers to do what i did etc.. (I just asked for some cheese) I am so embarrassed and horrified by this managers attitude towards me! I'm surprised he has any staff working for him. Won't be back, managers attitude and atmosphere of the business STINKS. I will be ensuring my family and friends hear of my experience. I wish I walked out because you don't deserve harworking people money.

This tremendous restaurant has been a constant in the life of my family for so many years. Yet another superb meal just dropping in for Saturday lunch today. We both had beer battered haddock and chips. The batter was crispy, light and to die for. As always Tony and his team were friendly and attentive and we left fully satisfied having spent just over 20 quid. That value for money on the lunch menu is unbeatable and I can't wait to get along for a steak dinner some evening soon. Special mention for the Affogato which is the perfect end to any meal.

Never again.would give no stars if I got the option to do so. Ordered a delivery couldn't get lasagne out of foil container, chips were well done but soggy like they had been heated in microwave, only enjoyable bit was a cheesy garlic pizza.Total waste of money would avoid and spend your money elsewhere folks.Maybe different experience if dining in restaurant, but I wont be taking that chance.

Due to lock down had a lovely meal delivered. Arrived on time and food was amazing. Steak for hubby pasta for me. Definitely order ahain.

Home Delivery came within 30 minutes. The cuisine was delicious. I am a foodie and very rarely enjoy any carry-outs. My mother & I were pleasantly surprised. The sauces were perfection and a free dessert to boot. Will be ordering again very, very soon...

Staff and owner are efficient and very welcoming, food is always hot and tasty, been coming to this restaurant since it opened, never disappointed

Came here for a Sunday lunch with a friend in September and enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine and some pasta and garlic bread. The wine was great and the food was pretty good but could have been tastier. As per other reviews, masks did seem to not always be covering the waiting staff’s mouths and noses. However I did feel the tables were well spaced out and that I could sit far enough away from my friend who is in a different household.

The menu was very varied and the staff informative and attentive. The food was well prepared and very tasty.

Wanting something different we ordered a takeaway from here using the food app on our mobile. Pasta, calzoni and a pizza. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait till it was delivered. 45 minutes later the food arrived. The meals were large portions and everything tasted really nice. A bit more expensive than other home delivered meals but you are getting restaurant quality food. Only one small niggle the food could of been hotter (as in temperature). Otherwise a nice change, we would definitely order from here again.

We will get the food out of the way first. Standard Italian fayre. Good quality and tasty. Not great..... But good. Thing that bothered me more than the food was the attitude of the staff to mask wearing! Some - all of time. Some just over mouth some over Chins. The least you can expect is the staff to all wear masks all of the time. People are shaky enough without added stress.

We put in a lot of miles all over the country and eat in a lot of new places, but can honestly say that the overall experience of pane e vinos has never been beaten, from the staff to the food and the atmosphere it’s perfect, from meals with the whole family to something romantic it’s always just perfect, and the fact that the owner Tony is there every single night and make sure that you feel welcome and valued, it’s always been the family’s favourite and I don’t ever see that changing

We came to Kirkcaldy a couple of weeks ago to visit some friends from Brighton for a few days and were taken to this restaurant by them. The phrase never judge a book it’s made for here. Once you go through the door the place is very pleasant staff charming food great social distancing very effective without losing atmosphere.

I write this as I’m still seated with my family but I would like to recommend this place in any circumstance as the service was wonderful and the food was amazing. They take allergens into full account (I’m coeliac so I was interested in their gluten free options) and they were very helpful with the menu. Our waiter (not sure what his name was but he had curly hair) was so welcoming and very patient with my grandparents who tend to be needy in restaurants. I would love to come back here on my next venture to Kirkcaldy. Thank you!

Sorry to be that person but I’m not impressed. After hearing so many good comments I was looking forward to some deliciousness, only to be let down with cheap garlic bread :( pasta in a tomato sauce tasty but where is the veg and meat that was stated in the menu? And chips... again bought in. Such a downfall ☹️ Unfortunately I won’t be back :(

Food was great and service really good. Certainly recommend. Chairs a bit incomfy but atmosphere good but noisy.

Food always of a good standard and service also dependable. Could do with some better chairs and the main area can get a bit like a school canteen but if you go early evening and there’s no parties in it’s lovely.

We only came here because we had a voucher but were pleasantly surprised. Value for money, nothing too fancy but we enjoyed our meal.

Took my daughter here for her 15th birthday as we had heard the place is good, the restaurant it’s self was freezing cold and empty, it was very mediocre to say the least, tasteless bland watery food, I had carbonara and my daughter had spaghetti Bolognese which was basically tomato & over cooked mince with no seasoning, neither of us finished it..... disappointing......

My husband and I plus family & friends have been eating at this restaurant since it opened over 20 years ago and love it. The food is excellent the atmosphere is great & service is exemplary would recommend 100%

Was here for a family occasion. I’d called beforehand to tell them about being Coeliac. I was told on the phone and when I got there that all they did was penne pasta. None of the risottos were suitable. (Although I had a risotto the last time I was there and was told it was ok). I asked about soups and starters and the chap went to check and didn’t return. The owner eventually said that all they did was penne pasta. I guess I should be grateful I got anything, but the attitude of the guys in there was terrible. When the owner took my order, he asked if £1 extra for gluten free was ok. I asked what if I said no. He said I wouldn’t be served anything. What I had was very good, but I doubt if I’ll be back. Our table was booked for 1pm and we didn’t get our food until 2pm.

Prawn starter tasteless awful prawns salmon main burnt was just horrible.The rest of the people in my group were all so not happy with there food

I organised a visit to this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, i chose this restaurant as its known for having a lively atmosphere and is good at accommodating birthday celebrations, I dont think i have ever been here and its not been someone in the restaurants birthday! Anyway, we had a lovely time, the food was really good, everyone enjoyed their meal, the service was good and the place overall had a nice atmosphere. A few reviews for this restaurant mention rude service etc. to be honest i can see how people feel that way, there are one or two who can come across like that but i dont think they mean it, i just took it to be the Italian manner, if you know what i mean! All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening and i would return again in the future.

I wish I could rate this restaurant zero... I Wanted to go for a romantic nice meal with partner so picked the pan e veno as a last minute choice. Well this turned out to be a big mistake. My calamari starter was tasteless and overcooked, my partners butterfly prawns looked and tasted bought in frozen. we both knew they were tasteless and completely overpriced for what they were. Main course arrived which took it to another level, bought in salmon with cream poured over it and slimy over cooked asparagus thrown on top, my partner had meat balls which looked like tomato juice was thrown over spaghetti with savour 4 tiny grey disgusting frozen meat balls, on complaining we found the owner to be extremely rude and unhelpful, abruptly said “you will not be charged for main courses” and snatched the cutlery off the table, extremely unprofessional to be honest. It’s also a sure fire sign when they’re a takeaway right in the centre of a restaurant! It’s safe to say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had! Please Stay away, don’t waste your money on bought in cheap rubbish food and rude service!!!

I have used this restaurant on many occasions the staff the owner all provide an excellent eating atmosphere on ordering your starter they will ask you if after eating them you would like some time before they serve the main course all of the food from seafood to meat chicken and pasta are prepared to a high standard in my view this is by far the best restaurant in kirkcaldy

Phoned Saturday afternoon for a table for 2 at 6pm great, Have a meal before going to see the lady boys, we arrived about 10 mins late and this was not a problem we were seated straight away, got drinks straight away, ordered starter fantastic then our main came OMG it was amazing.

We had booked a table with a few friends last night. I was running late and when I arrived I was rudely welcomed by who I now know is the manager. Tried to explain that my friend had booked a table and that I wasn’t sure if they had already been seated. Wasn’t interested in listening to what I was saying and was told that he didn’t know names, couldn’t remember them all due to numbers coming in and dismissively told to walk round and have a look with a flick of the hand and turned his back! Shocked at the response but ok I did.

I had booked a table for 27 ppl as a one party on arrival noticed we were split up between two table. I wasn't happy about that fact and asked to speak with a boss, he said in a rude way said it wasn't possible to do it and I won't find a place in k-dy where they will do it, I just ask if is any chance we can put a table in L sharp he straight away said no - but it was easy to do it. Then when came ordering time one long table has been served and 4 ppl (my table) - has been left, when I have mentioned that to waiter - Italian older man ( not a boss) brougt 3 menus instide of 4 and asked and served 3 instide of 4 drinks but clearly there were 4 of us and guess who wasn't served lol me - punishment???, we all were been shocked. Then thanks god our waiter chance for - I think - Scottish young boy with a bit curly hair - he was so nice, polite with good maners boy - 10/10 stars for him. Food was good but deserts disaster noone absolutely noone had finished it. I wont recommend it for anyone better go to anothers Italian places in kirkcaldy, which at least has brilliant food and so polite staff.

We booked a table for a Saturday evening, which was just as well as it was busy. Our order was taken quickly and food served promptly. It was hot and very tasty.

We came here cause last time here loved it but the garlic and lemon prawns had no garlic added and the smoked salmon and prawn cocktail cornet tasted good accept the prawns tasted of the smoke from salmon as been made earlier in the day which was a shame we didn’t complain as we wanted to have a nice night my Alfredo pasta should be cream and parmigiana added but was a carbonara sauce if it didn’t have the tagliatelle I would have thought they got wrong if u like carbonara it tasted fine hubby had calzone which he had last time we reviewed so he asked for extra marinara sauce that didn’t happened asked for a bowl and it came out freezing cold in a metal bowl thank god he tasted it beforehand and had to ask for it heated up. Puddings were spartan for price sorry guys too may thinks wrong won’t be back

First class meal , works night out . Thought it would be a problem as I am gluten and wheat intolerant , not a problem . Staff attentive and professional.

Four of us turned up without booking on Monday night and got a table, (better to book ahead if you have a large party coming or near the weekend as this place can get busy), no problem to sit down for a meal even though it was well past 8pm. Drinks ordered then food, all of which came out pipping hot and soon after. The food tasted delicious, no complaints from any of us. The server was polite, prompt, well presented and even though we were last to finish eating we didn't feel like we were being pushed out like in other establishments. Great food at great prices with a great ambiance. We also noticed that they now do pre- theatre (Adam Smith) lunches now which looked great value.

Delicious dinner with simple but quality produce an excellent house wine. The steak was cooked to perfection and the tomato, garlic and basil sauce was fresh and full of flavour but not overpowering. The tiramisu is home-made and was outstanding.

A bit disappointed, food was standard Italian fair - nothing special, lacking freshness and flavour. The decor is also a bit dated. Staff friendly enough! Not as good as we had been hoping!

We were travelling and had no idea where to eat. We decided on Pane E Vino and we're not disappointed. He has a good selection of combinations and a good menu with lots of choices and also serves alcohol.

Been here a few times. Came for our anniversary dinner. Food was perfect and staff were pleasant. Clean and tidy and had a great atmosphere.

Had lunch with friends on Saturday and we were greeted and seated promptly. Drinks arrived but unfortunately one wine glass had a foreign object in it. We tried to attract the attention of our waitress and the manager acknowledged this however the waitress did not respond and we waited until a different waiter finally noticed us trying to attract attention. The wine was replaced with apologies from the pleasant waiter. Our meals arrived promptly and we all four of us enjoyed our meals however we felt that the presentation could be improved e.g. some garnish like chopped parsley or basil would add a touch of colour and be more pleasing to the eye. We always enjoy Pane e Vino and will return but would be pleased if they would consider our feedback.

Attended last night with friends. Ate in area at back of restaurant,which reminded me of a school dinner hall. Very, very busy and noisy. Staff were hauling tables and chairs across the wooden floors which was very distracting. Waiting staff appeared inexperienced,well... we all have to learn . The Italian waiter who took out food order was grim faced and brusque with no pleasantries. We just didn't feel welcome really...maybe they were stressed.

One of the worst food deliveries I’ve ever had! Pizza was bland and oily and spaghetti and meatballs was banged in the microwave! Waste of money!

Visited this restaurant for the first time last week and was very disappointed . The service is poor, the house wine was like vinegar and the garlic bread is shop bought poor quality . Will not be recommending or visiting here again .

We are new to area so tried it out. The garlic bread was nice and I ordered lasagne for a change as used to be the rage in the 80s &90s. I had a craving for it and it was amazing. I ate every bit of it and commented on how tasty it was. My husband had starter and calzone which was very large. He did ask for more marinara sauce as it was dry and it was brought straight away. Don't order draft coke its to sweet. But tinned coke fine and red wine lovely. Really busy there and staff were working really hard. You didn't feel rushed and its now going to be our local

My daughter and I were recommended this restaurant and it was ideal. We both had great pizzas; the blue cheese and salami was tasty and suitably filling.

Ordered a takeaway from PaneeVino in Kirkcaldy on Friday night. Upon collection, I was handed two pizza boxes. Unknown to me the bottom box was absolutely running with oil. As a result my raincoat and car seat ended up covered in the oil running out of the box, despite it being kept flat.

Our two families gathered to start the New year with a family meal . There was twelve adults & five children . It was a great atmosphere for all of us . The meal was excellent & everybody got served at the same time . They were great with the kids who's ages ranged from two to eight . A great time for everyone. The staff were excellent

We go there with my wife and 3 kids after the local panto every year. We all love it. My daughter even had her 13th birthday there with friends. Never disappointed.

Our family was celebrating a 21st birthday so booked a table here for 11. The interior is nicely decorated and the tables are evenly spaced so as not to be too crowded. The servers came over and took our orders for our drinks, then took our orders for our food, we had a mixture of pasta dishes, steak, calzone and new on the menu battered fish and chips. All dishes were exceptional and tasted really nice. The sweets were then brought to the table and again cleaned plates all round. The portion sizes are large but 1/2 portions are available for light eaters and for quality food like this the prices were very reasonable. The servers throughout the meal were polite, prompt and well presented.

Used to come here years ago and remember the food being really good. Ordered the chorizo starter which was presented as two butterflies sausages on a cold plate with some oily tomato dip and some salad. The chorizo was cold, tough and with little flavour. The dip was OK but nothing really special. The ham and mushroom pizza was small and rather flavourless. Staff were friendly but cooking has been much better.

I don't write many reviews, however we are regulars at Pane E Vino, food and service is always incredible… recently had our company night out here, everyone commented on how good the food was, and service second to none as always… we'll keep going back.

We are regulars at this lovely, family friendly Italian. My husband thinks the steak is first class and very good value. I try all the pastas - delish and no problem getting a doggie bag if the generous portions defeat you during your visit! There’s good quality Italian wine available and selection of draught and bottled beers. The Tartuffo dessert is to die for. Great pizzas too and all well priced.

I ordered the meatballs which was a huge mistake. It was the worst Italian meal I have ever eaten. The meatballs did not resemble Italian meatballs in either favour, texture or size. The tomato sauce was a disgrace. The service was poor so all in all it was a terrible experience.

I've been to Pane e Vino few years ago, meal was average and I never felt like it was worth coming back, however few days ago we fancied a take away. I don't usually order pizzas from take aways, you can buy decent one in the supermarket and yes l tried the proper Italian pizza as well. Anyway as Pane e Vino claims to be an Italian restaurant I thought, surely their pizzas will be at least decent. We've ordered two, both horrid. Dough was a joke, like the one you buy in the shop to put your own ingredients on and cheese wasn't even melted, it wasn't mozzarella either. All in all huge disappointment. Will never spend a penny in this place.

I was surprised that I could not have Penne Arrabiata - they did have a spicy penne which was OK. I could not have Fileto al pepe verde which is again a standard in my opinion. I did have steak with a pepper sauce which again was OK. Needs something done to get this place from OK to a place where one would choose to revisit.

This Italian restaurant was very busy on the night we visited. and seemed popular with families. My husband's veal in lemon sauce was a little tough and came with very Anglo veggies, chips, carrots and broccoli. My tagliatelle had stuck together in places and was not as enjoyable as I had anticipated. It is not the sort of place one would linger over a meal.

Our meal overall was OK. The service was fine. Husband's gamberoni was good. My main course was very disappointing. The veal with marsala sauce is best avoided. Although the veal tasted very good,the sauce was full of olive oil that appeared to have separated from the marsala. This meant the chips and veg were soaked/saturated in oil and inedible. The manager thought this was OK and put the onus on me to get the chips/veg on the side. Not impressed.

I admit to being a regular here, and will continue to do so as long as it’s around. Good menu with good food located in the Town Centre. Also has a good lunch menu and food is served quickly.

Everytime I have been at Pane E Vino regardless of how busy it is, there is always great service, great staff and great food (which means great chefs). The manager especially, always takes the time to ask how our foods been and is very welcoming. Highly recommend the lunchtime menu- 3 courses for £9.95 :)

We visited the restaurant with my family (two young boys and parents). The atmosphere is super nice, service was quick and food was fantastic at a very reasonable price. The owner was super friendly and approached every table when they were finishing. He was very nice with our boys and was interested in where we were from.

Visited on a Friday evening. It was a busy, bustling restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The waiters were excellent! Friendly, chatty and treated us so well. We felt we were special friends!! The food was first class! Tasty, authentic and we scoffed the lot no problem! The menu choice is wide with dishes to suit all tastebuds. Well worth a visit or two - or more!!

Visited here tnite first time ever , first night without children for a long time so me and hubby thought give it a try ! Really disapointed! Service was shockin! We started to eat our starter and were attacked by small flies to th point we were put off , asked waitress to move us she got the manager whom stomped over moved our plates - never acknowledged us jus muttered how he cant get rid of th flies?! That was enough for us even when we said we werent paying for our starters he just said ok bye ! AVOID AT ALL COST

Although the restaurant was very busy (Saturday night) we were quickly shown to a table by Tony, a lovely gentleman with a Italian accent that made you feel a thousand miles from Scotland. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The steak diane was cooked to perfection and the tiramasu was the lightest I have ever tasted. Because it was so busy (a sign of good food) it was quite noisy but that didn't spoil the experience. Well worth the visit.

Enjoyed visiting and eating here with a large group. Excellent food, decent service and a nice setting. Also good value with the 3 course pre-theatre menu. Would recommend.

I have been visiting this fabulous restaurant for well over 25 years - my daughter will be 22 in July and I have been taking her since she was 2/3 years old.....always great food and service at Pane E Vino...I've signed up for their e-mail promotions and they always do great value for money lunch/evening offers of which via e-mail, I'm always aware of......my mother loves visiting too and hey, she's such a fussy eater, but the moment you state we're visiting here, she's well happy

Amazing food, excellent customer service! Party of 15, 3 of which in high chairs and another 4 older kids, the staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help. Really friendly place and food was fantastic, will definitely be back!

My Special needs son and his carer have used this restaurant for years and he has a good relationship with the staff. Tonight , however, they refused the e mailed voucher offering 2 for 1 pizza or pasta saying it was only valid after 7. Rubbish! Nothing on the e mail to say this and they in at 6pm. previously vouchers accepted til 6 30pm. this has been the case for years and nothing on the recent e mail led us to believe the offer had changed .This upset my son and his carer. I don't think they will be back, which presumably was the intention

Had a lovely family meal here. Gluten free pasta amongst other food. Friendly professional staff. Well recommend.

We have just enjoyed a family dinner, nice surprise as we timed it to take advantage of the pre-theatre menu so 3 courses for £12.95 for hubby and I!

Different review as we did not go to restaurant but ordered via a well known Takeaway App.

The place was pretty empty when we arrived and were sat a a wobbly table, We did not order anything fancy or special, A chicken dish and a lasagna. The side salad I ordered never did arrive at the table and the lasagna was horrific, hunt the grains of meat would have been an apt game for this dish, it was also burnt black and stuck to the bottom of the dish, pretty bland pasta dish floating in a watery soup like sauce. I actually don't think I am being hard enough on this dish, it was disgusting at best. The owner and one of the staff cleared our table and neither asked how our meal was. very poor customer service from people who don't seem to care about their customers. I will never be back and will not recommend to anyone. A little courtesy and customer care goes a long way, as does someone who can actually cook.

We eat here every week and treat our staff to lovely food, can't fault it ***** all staff all very hard working and can't do enough for You, very reasonable prices for food and drink.

Had pre theatre dinner here with friends this weekend.

We've had happy meals here previously so it was very disappointing to have had such a dreadful experience on our last (and final) visit with family friends over the Christmas period. Since our last trip one of our group had been diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and they asked the owner for the usual list of food which contain various allergens before we placed our order. The owner was clearly irritated and said people like you are really annoying, we have one kind of pasta and walked away. Thankfully the manager realised something was wrong and was able to provide the right information so the meal could go ahead. However, if the owner of a restaurant thinks ensuring his customers eat safely is annoying, he really should get into a different business. Once this was explained to the manager, he was very apologetic, but we will never dine at the restaurant again. Food hygiene and safety is not annoying, it's a vital part of running a safe business.
