been with this Chinese for years and you kind of expect an hour to wait but tonight wow ordered at 4.30pm got to 6pm (1h.30m) called to be told new driver should be much longer ok got to 6.50pm called again driver had an emergency why not say before or get another driver to collect first drivers orders. Option of start order again or refund so choose refund will need to find a new Chinese shame as food is very nice when it comes.

Amazing food always fresh and hot. Customer service great and delivery man very polite. Always my go to takeaway.

Love the scran whatever u get tastes better than it looks and it looks brilliant from noodle soup to egg foo young and even banana fritters

Terrible service for delivery. Ordered at 1850, had to call at 2030 to see what was happening. Was told the driver had left so shouldn't be long. It's a 6 minute drive to my house, so figured 10-15 minutes. 25 minutes later, driver turns up and couldn't care less about the delay. Food was cold so I can't give it more than 1 star. I wish I had seen the other reviews before I ordered. Won't use them again.

Appalling service. Wife order meal online at 4.30 pm for delivery by 7 to 7.30. nothing arrived by 7.45pm. called and was told it would've be delivered by 8.00pm. called at 8.05 to be told it was just in the kitchen. Girls on the phone were very apologetic but useless at resolving the problem. Wife cancelled order and waiting on refund. Why on why can't you deliver a simple order given in advance or keep the customer advised of delays. Wife now starving, hungry and well peeved. No excuses, if your too busy tell customers, don't leave them waiting and hungry.

Phoned at 7.10pm it's 20.53 no delivery yet

Ordered food and after 1.5h waiting never got it. Called them to find out what's happening with my order and they said they have missed it and they will start to cook it now. I didn't want to wait another 1h so asked for a refund. And what a surprise I never got a refund. Worst place ever. Will not order ever again.

Ordered a meal at 7.32pm for delivery now9.52pm still has not arrived woeful never again

Food is always usually good but it was exceptionally good tonight & chips were also better than usual. The Delivery man was also very nice & polite.

Service was good! But the food cannot be compared to a Dutch Chinese restaurant. And the atmosphere is not there.

I got a king prawn curry and fried rice from this place on Friday night three weeks ago. Never again. Had serous food poisoning. had cramp in my stomach late Friday night.then on Saturday morning had sickness and diarrhoea. Phoned inviramental health and they are looking into it.

We have used this restuarant for years and under previous owners the food was great and food preperation and deliver was quick. It changed hands a number of months ago and the service has become very poor. Regularly given food you haven't ordered, delivery times are terrible and quality of food isn't the same with good often being cold. Sadly regular customers are going to try other establishments as you can only give a restuarant so many chances.

Ordered 12 meals to pick up at a set time....all ready for collection at the set time and all 12 meals delicious. Can't fault in any way.

I had previously said Jade Garden was the best Chinese I have ever had, this is right up there if not better. The curry sauce doesn't form a skin when left, unlike a lot of other takeaways I have had. The chicken chunks were huge and cooked to perfection. Most Chinese curries leave me with inidgestion and thirst, this didn't. Highly recommended.

If I could give minus stars I would. Absolute joke of a place. Ordered £40 of food online. Called because I had forgotten something and I've been hung up on twice, they have no intentions of delivering and now not answering my calls. Just had to contact my bank to get my money back. If your thinking about ordering from here I wouldnt -go somewhere else.

Used to love and always use this Takeaway. I placed my usual order via Foodhub, took them 25 minutes just to acknowledge the order even. Here I am sitting 4 hours after my order was put in and Happy Days are not answering their phone to myself or Foodhub either. Constantly saying its on another call. Owner contacted, no reply either. Foodhub just as useless BTW. Keep the £8.50 but stuff you, I won't ever be back. If I was able to give both yourselves and Foodhub zero stars you can be rest assured I would have.

As usual, great meal again. Becoming our new favourite Chinese takeaway.

Good salt and pepper munchy boxes

I waited 1 hour and a half for my delivery. I'd advise not to use the happy days app since they said they're having problems with it. Further to that the the salt and pepper chicken wings were like eating lumps of salt. The "Beef with Sze-chuan style" lacked spice and any other flavour. The beef was like rubber. Most of it chucked in the bin. Not impressed.

First time ordering since under new management as had heard a few different stories, Must say tho the chicken curry was delicious with big chunks of chicken breast and that curry sauce is theeee best ever it hasn't changed thank god, i did receive boiled rice instead of fried rice but not a problem, I'll definitely be back 😋👌

Had an all in one from here last night it was the first and only thing I ate that day. Tasted funny, 3 hours later I was puking my guts up all night, arse on the pan with projectile diaghrea and vomiting into the bath at the same time and still not well. I used to love it here. I did notice no food safety certificate on show, I will never eat from here again and will be reporting to fife council.

Worst Chinese I have ever had. Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips and it came tasting of burnt tomatoes. The chips were soggy, the rice cold and hard and the curry tasting of nothing. Phoned to complain to be told that they haven’t changed there recipe so there was nothing they could do. They offered me an exchange but due to everything being so badly cooked didn’t want anything they had on offer. Didn’t think a Chinese could be so bad. Edit: if everything on my order was either soggy, cold or hard then I didn’t want to try anything else. I understand things maybe different elsewhere but I have never had salt and pepper dishes that were red and tasted of tomato’s. I appreciated that u apologised but that done nothing to rectify the situation I may as well have put the £20 in the bin.

Not been for few years Now know why had a carryout tonite I just had simple chicken fried rice (dry tasteless rice and very sparingly with chicken) partners meal wasnt up too much either Sorry not a patch on how use to be

I have been a regular customer for yrs and always had great food but unfortunatley the last few times have been awful..the first time i have complained they were more than helpful as they knew i was a regular.. but am outstanded by the response of this time .... to be told that because i have complained they might not except furure orders from me !!!.... really!!!! Best Chinese takeaway in Kirkcaldy, having been family run for 35 years which until recently was side by side with the best Chinese restaurant in town until the retiral of the parents, which perhaps explains the quality of the takeaway food, which is made in the same kitchen and to the same standard and recipes.

This restauran has sadly closed. However the take away shop is still open. So you can still enjoy there wonderful food in the Comfort of your own home The Happy Days restaurant has been turned into a children’s play school.

Ordered delivery from here for first time. Food was good but nothing major. Compared to other Chinese takeaway wouldn't rate it two highly on prices. Moat takeaways u at least get free prawn crackers if u spend over a certain emount not here. Portion size wasn't great for price smallest bag of chips with meal I have had. I asked for something and got something totally different. Wouldn't go back

Love visiting Happy Days! Wide range of food, family-run takeaway with friendly faces and yummy menu.

The food is standard takeaway with a few dishes not available from other establishments. Staff are friendly and efficient. If you collect your order it is cooked as you wait. When I got home they had made the wrong dish assuming it was my fault I didn't complain. The second time I took it back, seems there is a handwritten menu in Chinese in the kitchen that didn't match up to the printed English version. Would recommend but check your order before leaving!
