Ordered from fife eats, the food is good but portion sizes are shocking for the price noone is going to a takeaway to diet. Can't believe this is a supper....going to start in the kitchen on dinner number 2 now.... still hungry

I excepted this chippy to be average but I was wrong. Got me a wee fish and chips and it was lovely some great food. The staff here were great as well highly recommend it unless you’re allergic.

Good fish supper, nice fish, and good tasting chips, very busy shop, can't fault Paul's fish and chips, never had a bad supper yet and have been going to Paul's for many years

£6.80 for soggy fish, save you money and go somewhere else.

Traveled 8000 miles and that's the only place I was going to go to and it was well worth it.

I have learned to love chips ever since I moved to the UK because of Pauls. I would highly recommend their chips and cheese in curry sauce; I tried several chippy shops that offered the same item on their menu all over Glasgow, but none of them tasted as good or even had as much (generous) portions as Pauls ❤️❤️❤️ If it would be possible, I hope they can offer vegan/vegetarian options in the future!

I got delivery tonight,I got white pudding supper I could have broke ma teeth on the white pudding it was well over cooked .first time ive had a bad meal from pauls

Made an order at 8.45pm, and the shop accepted it. Got a message at 9.15pm that the order was cancelled, no explanation. I phoned the shop and was told the pizza oven gets turned off at 9pm so they had to cancel the order. Didn't explain how that effected my order that they accepted 15 minutes before 9. Absolute shambles of a place, won't waste my time in future.

Do not ordsr on a sunday drivers are thieves and keep food three times food did nt arrive apparently phoned me three times frakin liars. PAULS DO NOT order through JUST EAT CRAP

We normally get our Friday chippy from Paul’s, I have to say their spicy haggis is top notch. We decided to have one on Sunday so we tried a fish supper, wish we hadn’t bothered, fish was over cooked & was like wood! Chips were awful. Very disappointing. Put us right off. How people can put this food out the door is beyond me.

Hmm this used to be a good chippy! The fryers wear discoloured whites. Wrinkled. Chips were old tasting White pudding was yellow mush I don’t know what’s happened here. Standards have dipped and me and mine won’t return again. Yup

White pudding and sausage supper. Gad sake folks standards have deteriorated since last visit massively. Fryers coats were disgusting (if they have dirty coats at 5pm it speaks volumes on “their” cleanliness! Plus the wrinkles! Looks very much like they finished a shift and pressed fryer jacket in a bag and wore next shift! Lame Chips were old tasting and white supper was mush! Is this even Paul’s? All the screens were offline so we never knew how much it costed to be disappointed.

I called for my food which was an Icelandic fish supper and a bag of chips Got home and yip it certainly wasn’t Icelandic fish so annoyed as I was I called complaining to be told their mistake and if I come along they will give me a replacement Needless to say I won’t be back

They should stick to fish and chips. The donner kebab i just had was rather mingin. Sauce and salad outside the pita, making it messy(no salad or sauce in the pita). Not much flavour in the chili sauce and a pool of grease in the bottom of the container!! Only ate it because i was starving!!! Wont order another.

Hi I would like to apologise for my previous review as it was a bad experience recently I have been having fish suppers they’ve been brilliant and enjoying every moment of life it’s a pain thank you very much and the staff are very friendly and helpful I do apologise again to the staff and the member of Paul’s chip shop. Waited over 1hr 30 min for our food, was cold soggy and fit for the bucket , and had to do a reheat with our order chips looked good but dried out . Phoned the shop and was told it was out for delivery. I feel sorry for the girls answering the phone when enquring, Delivery driver was useless when I told him the time I had to wait. Will not use again , Please beware , better of going to Morrisons with your custom.

Some people are impossible to please. moaning about sauce' FFS get a life. I've been in chip shops for our national dish all over this land, and Paul's is up there with the best. Fish and chips, 2 massive fillets of fish (not many chippies gie you that for a start )and a mountain of chips. One supper easily feeds two. Good value there. All freshly cooked, friendly, efficient staff. What more do you want ? Can't recommend highly enough.

We've just got home with our food from this place. To say we are angry is an understatement. And if we could be bothered taking the 'food back we would. The place seems popular enough and staff were dealing with in shop orders and phoned in orders. I had a senior fish supper. My son ordered a chicken supper, no batter. The thing was unwrapped at home. Shrivelled. Tough. Overcooked. Tiny. About 20 chips. Almost £9.00. Never again. Absolutely will never return here. Value for money...?? Make up your own mind.

Has been the worst tasting delivery /food quality I've had in all the years I've used this chip shop. Brown sauce wasn't the usual tasting ... Batter was soggy ... No distinct taste between food.

Rude 15/16 year olds working behind the counter, food portions are getting smaller each time I visit.

I have gone to Paul's chippy for over 35 years. I have seen the premises improve to an excellent standard and the food has always been top notch.

I was told when I moved back to Kirkcaldy I must try this place . Wish I never . Worst pizza I've ever had and I eat a lot of pizza from all over the UK due to work I'm always on the road but this place I'll never step foot back in and I won't let my kids eat from here again . Disappointed. It's only a pizza how could yous get it so wrong ?. Far to much cheese on the pizza it's like a full bag went on my pizza . Just had to bin it and go get a Chinese. Should be ashamed to serve food like that .

The fish and chips had always been good here, maybe just the place needs a new look...

place is so dirty and staff don’t wear hair nets so hair was literally on the countertops. only hiring under 16 girls. can hear them the staff shouting in the back. so slippy as you walk in. not quick enough and super rude. vegetarian options fried in the same oil as meat.

Good wee local chippy. Decent portion sizes for those with a larger appetite. Freshly cooked. Nothing sits for long under the heat lamps. They also sell sweets & juice.

Worst take away av had chippy box pure grease put the lot in the bin

Excellent value for quality, quantity, and 1st class service. Just phone in order and it’s ready for collection within 10 minutes. You won’t get a better chippy anywhere 👍

Used to go here all the time but changed to another chippy after a really poor experience a couple of years ago. Unfortunately they have not improved, the chips were absolutely disgusting and clearly undercooked (pic attached), and the fish and chicken were both dry, suggesting that food had been left out for a long time and reheated.

This is a good chippy staff are very friendly. Will be going back soon

Used few times but last two orders were cold on delivery and fish didn’t seem fresh in previous order couple weeks ago. Also asked for sausage in batter but it came without. Not sure if I’ll use again

Now this is an excellent Chippy! I ordered 3 fish suppers which came to £24.00. This was ordered through Just Eat and the food was ready for collection in just 12 mins. Once collected and home the food was piping hot and the fish was to die for. The chips were clean too so go here for your fish and chips. I will update once I try different foods as there is a lot of choice from burgers, Kebabs to pizza and pies etc etc. Very highly recommended. Parking is limited on the street but I didn't need to wait.

On entering shop tonight, was hit by the smell of old oil, horrible, unfortunately, its obviously in the frier that fries battered items, sorry but the food was terrible, chips were fine, a bit wispy tho. I would suggest that you change the oil, urgently. None of the battered food was eaten

Ordered a takeaway from here and 20 minutes after accepting my order and taking my money, they cancelled my order as I’m “too far away” sorry but if I’m out of range then 1. Don’t accept the damn order and 2. Don’t have your restaurants range set to show up within my post code. 3-5 days to get my money back, shouldn’t be taking money of customers you reject. Feels like a con.

Put an order in and just when it's about ready to collect time I get a call saying there's no fishcakes...fair enough...I changed it to something else and get a call back five minutes later saying they didn't have any mince pies either.....I cancelled the order incase I got another call saying they had ran out of chips..... probably got some pickled eggs to sell on the counter...

Love the Kirkcaldy chip shop. Been going there since I was young and my own kids go there. Growing up. We still go there. Let’s say now I’m a granny off 3 amazing kids an they will follow thru till they’re old enough to go alone. He’s always smiling an speaks to us every time we are there. Such a lovely guy he is. Recommend there completely at Galton Paul’s chip shop. 💯

Tonight I had single fish, single smoked sausage, absolutely terrible, batter was soggy and stuck to paper, sausage also stuck to paper, maybe some training required to the people on the fryer

I went and ordered 2 portions of doner meet with salad. They served 10 people and they didn’t even start preparing my food. It only takes 2 minutes to prepare my order. When the guy saw that I was getting a little bit upset from waiting almost 20 minutes he asked me to go and repeat my order. I said I am going to cancel it and he said to me no problem without even apologising. People should think twice before ordering from there.

Had a pensioners fish supper & the wife had a chicken wrap on Tuesday, we could not fault any of it, definately be back this Tuesday.

Nice food very clean and helpful

We've become regulars here over the past few weeks since our first takeaway. Chips and cheese are so good! Just needs to be absolutely smothered in cheddar. Fried pizza also tremendous! Pizza oven goes off around half 8/half 9 though which is our of character for a chippy especially one open so late. Always busy when I come to collect our food. Highly recommended

I order quite a lot from here, mainly Icelandic fish supper. My only complaint is that the batter is always soggy and sticking to the paper by the time it's delivered. Is there any way to keep the batter crispy?.

Best Fish & Chips in Scotland. Fresh, crispy fish and the chips are always perfect with no excess oil. I've been to other places where the supper is 20% frozen fish caked in last weeks soggy batter with chips re-fried so many times they are darker than the batter! Not here. Great portions, they are always busy but seem to get through the customers in good time. I can see why they have been there for 40 years and won all the awards.
