The best restaurants in Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay Fife Central Scotland

Great local, prices are not exaggerated due to the location. Staff is alway wonderful but there is NO FOOD! It is a traditional pub.

We were there for the Rugby. Hugo's has a family friendly and pet dog welcoming atmosphere. The TV and audio is excellent for sporting events. The food is as good as it gets: tasty, great portions sizes and overall excellent value. The staff are friendly, approachable, good humoured and best of all always pick you up when you're down ;-). Thanks Iain and team !

Sadly the food has gone downhill. Used to be an excellent Chinese take away but lately the quality has been lacking. Tonight was the worst though. Ordered 2 x chicken fried rice, chips, mushroom and onion fried rice, barbecue ribs and a portion of curry sauce. The order came with curry sauce all over the chips which thankfully they did correct and give us them separate albeit with a look of disgust as if we were in the wrong. The mushroom and onion fried rice though ended up inedible due to the onions being covered in a curry dressing which the person who this was for is allergic to one of the ingredients in the curry. Luckily because it was noticed before a mouthful was taken, some antihistamine has been able to quell the reaction but it could have been worse. We won’t be coming back as there is a distinct lack of care and for us this could be dangerous.

Tried to go along last few weekends for breakfast rolls. 3/4 attempted visits it has been shut or they have no breakfast items on/out of stock. Started very strong but quickly going downhill.

My wife and myself had been up Since about 4.30am and had flown to Scotland from Birmingham. We were about to go to Aldi to get food to take to accommodation we had rented when I saw this Subway Just right for a light ish snack. It was alongside a Domino's and Greggs. My wife has never had a Subway before. She was delighted with her choice, because the lady behind the counter explained everything. I meanwhile had a choice of my own. Anyway it was a great visit and I think my wife is a Subway convert. But sort out the loo please!!!

food arrived 2hours after ordering. it was cold and had to be reheated. not overly impressed. I phoned at the latest time it was to be delivered and was told it would be with us in 5-10 min. the face that they are at least 10 min drive away.... it arrived 25mi. after my call. not happy

Lovely lunch great service and food in stunning surroundings. I travel with guests will definitely suggest staying and dining here.

What a venue !! Charming with a historical room to be seen to be believed (clipper room) ! I cannot say enough about the owners and staff who made me feel welcomed and could not do enough ! I was there for a music gig with friends and the music room venue was brilliant , atmospheric and intimate ! The hotel is in a lovely location with historical sites , coastal walks and a golf course nearby.

This business is no longer and closed 3 months ago so how can you rate it as a restaurant it’s now trading as Hugos Cafe Bar and has a very big outdoor seating area for the summer months drinks and food served outside

Visitamos el Cedar Inn durante un viaje nostálgico a Aberdour. Estábamos demasiado temprano para cenar - así que pensamos que teníamos una copa de vino y un paquete de patatas fritas para sostenernos. Casi me desmayé cuando nos cobraron 17 libras. 50 para 2 vasos de vino y 2 paquetes de patatas fritas. No listado arancelario que podía ver. Decidimos que no volvería para la cena.

We didn't actually visit the restaurant, but ordered on the app instead for delivery. I love how the app tracks the progress on the order...it also showed me where to get savings if you were ordering more than one side. The delivery was really quick and everything was piping hot when I received it. We all enjoyed the food we ordered and had a great family pizza/movie night.

I have tried this place twice and both times have been extremely disappointing. Visit one was a take away. The sushi was average at best and presentation was less than average. Also tried the udon noddles and they were just over powered with far too much rich flavored sauce; in no way like anything Japanese in flavor. My daughter and I did not eat much of the Udon at all. Second time, I tried a delivery and got Sushi only. It was absolutely disgusting. The rice was under cooked and not seasoned enough with rice vinegar and sugar/salt. The avocados were rock hard and inedible. I called to complain and the person who works here said they knew the avocados were unripe, but that’s all they could source and have to work with what they have. I said this was really bad service, and my order should have been cancelled if they didn’t have the correct produce to provide what I ordered. I was promised a refund as I requested this; but 3 days later and I’m still waiting for this refund and cannot get through on the phone line any more.

Visited with my granddaughter today. First visit for us. Staff friendly and very efficient. Granddaughter painted a ceramic and we had tea & coffee. Great value for money. Will definitely return.
