We picked up a takeaway from here (mainly for the time and convenience) but unfortunately 1) had to return to exchange a few incorrect dishes and 2) the quality of food was not nearly as good as I remember it to be.

When we moved to Dalgety Bay this was the takeaway to use. Very hit and miss now with food quality sadly. Delivery waiting times not as advised at the point of ordering.

The food is lovely and fresh, all made in front of your eyes you never get a last night's 're heat, the staff are lovely and friendly and are always really kind to the kids. The menu has a wide variety and there is something for everyone. Fair price too for the nice large portion sizes

I regularly order from this restaurant. I can recommend most of the food on the menus. I normally get a delivery however the food is always piping hot when I receive it. Never had a bad experience in all the years I have used the establishment.

My partner and I went to simons kitchen after a long day working, Couldn’t be bothered cooking and ordered chicken fried rice, salted chilli chips and beef chow mien as well as curry sauce. Absolutely no faults, was delicious, will most definitely order again. Very good price too 👌🏻

Have ordered from here on a few occasions with friends. Inconsistent quality and was really disappointed with the taste of the food. We ordered a few different dishes and the sauces have been thin and bland. Just really dissapointed with the quality from a local business.

Had Kung po and fried rice Isi chips and mushrooms. Went to collect as experiences have varied with delivery.Have to say food was good and full of flavour. Like all places experiences vary, but based on this most recent visit we've no complaints for what was an excellent meal.

We have never had a bad take out from here. All our food has been good and just what we expected. Kung Po is always very good.

I've visited here a few times over the years, however the last two times I was given an incomplete order, only discovering when I got home. I had paid for the full order. The food is ok but due to the above I've decided to take my business to a different takeaway.

Will never order again due to a rude member of staff talking about me . Heard what she said was disgusted another member of staff apologised said I could have free meal no thanks. Was a regular for years Will use a local takeaway Have given 1 star as can't give a zero

Had a takeaway for 10 of us and every dish was great. The chilli chips are to be highly recommended. We had satay, black bean, crispy shredded chilli chicken and lemon chicken. Quick service and friendly staff and great value for money.

We have moved into the area, we have started using Simons Kitchen as our takeaway. The quality of the food is excellent. The service is prompt and friendly, we have tried several dishes and none have disappointed. My husband believes the Beef, red pepper and black bean sauce is the best he has tasted.

We've been going to Simon's for over 20 years and the food is consistently good. Great sized portions ( you won't be hungry afterwards!) tasty food, large choice of dishes. Never too long to wait whether dropping in or phoning in advance.

Si quieres comida recién preparada y una sonrisa feliz y luego ir a la maravillosa cocina y evitar se podía inn simons a toda costa.

Was unexpectedly on my own and could not be bothered to cook. Phoned Simons. Friendly staff, good was delivered quickly. Amazing food. I had boiled rice, duck in plum sauce and wontons and it was all brilliant.

This is the best Chinese Take Away in the Dunfermline area.The meals are cooked in front of you.Portions are large and tasty with the best quality ingredients.The extensive menu includes Thai and Mongolian meals while specialising in Cantonese and Peking meals.The prices are reasonable.The staff are warm and welcoming.Deliveries are remarkably prompt and always accurate.They set the standard others try to emulate!

What a nightmare to phone for an order. The phone rings and rings then cuts you off. When I did get through they told me the credit card machine cuts you off. Get it fixed guys or me and a lot of others are going elsewhere.Getting fed up with it. :(

After a couple of disappointing meals the final straw was, even though you can see them cooking, the chef dropped the chicken on the floor and still tried to serve it to me and was bit shocked when I said it had been witnessed!! The previous occasions consisted of a lemon chicken being so thin it was like cardboard, sauces consistency gloppy with a skin on top, really greasy noodles, chips obviously reheats. The food here was always bland and assumed that was Chinese cooking but how wrong and mislead have I been. My biggest regret leaving it so long to try another restaurant.

Ordered takeaway from here and we were very disappointed. The sauces were gloopy and made the meat horribly slimy. There was not much flavour despite a tantalising smell. The lemon sauce for the Lemon chicken tasted nothing like lemon, we binned it and used some sweet chilli. The spring rolls were excessively oily and the accompanying sauce runny and tasteless. Will not be going back again.

Favourite Chinese - I have been going there since I can remember and it has never failed to deliver. The food is great no matter what you order and staff are helpful and kind. Price is good and you don't wait too long for the food.

Brilliant take away, Have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. Only quibble rice or chips are not included in the price of the main meal.

Used Simons for a number of years. Food is always great quality, nice rich and thick sauces with meat a'plenty. Great to watch them cook too, refined team work at its best.

I only wish you could have zero stars. Food tasteless - Chicken Chow Mein had chicken and noodles - NOTHING ELSE IN IT - sweet and sour disgusting - and 40p added to bill for pating by debit card - this place is taking the piss - only used it because the far superior Peony Inn was closed for New Year - NEVER AGAIN

Love this place, we went twice whilst I was home from Australia. Always hot, fresh and full of flavour. Only down side is, i think my parents may have top frequent more often now I have introduced my Grandad to the place!

Had a few meals from Simons kitchen over the past few years, each time I have not been impressed. I always give the place the benefit of the doubt however the meals are always tasteless and overpriced for the size of dish. In comparison to the peony inn, literally 2 minutes drive from Simons Kitchen, it has much tastier food, and is better value for money.

class 4 pres with the lads ;). i recommend the chicken baws like. easy to order even to costa del dour and £2 chips is always a solid shout with a can ae bow. bon appetit!!

Not had takeaway for a while from Simons. Wish we hadn't . Got delivery . 1/2 duck with pancakes . Spring rolls chicken satay . There was 3people for meal . It was bland . 3 people can't be wrong . Will give Simons a miss . At one time takeaway was excellent .

Don't bother with the crispy beef. Received as a sludge lump. Certainly not very crispy. Tasted a lot better else where. Very expensive!

Ordered a take out whilst staying in Aberdour for delivery to the hotel. It arrived very quickly but the quality of the food was only average I'm afraid

Placed order this evening and still waiting after an hour, called to chade chase no apology and still expect to pay delivery charge. Not the best service!!!

We order pretty regularly here and are always happy with the food. However, we ordered the same dish rice noodles with chicken and when it arrived it was so hot, we couldn't eat it. No idea what why they put so much chilli in it but ruined it completely for me. Called and they basically made out I was wrong. Disappointing

If you're a fan of Chinese food then I recommend you try Simons kitchen in dalgety bay. Whether you're collecting or getting it delivered the food is always hot and tasty. A favourite of mine is the crispy shredded chicken in the sweet chilli sauce. Very tasty and worth a try. Prices are reasonable too.

We have used Simons Kitchen every now and again for a number of years. Never been let down by the quality of the food yet. Have to disagree with the review stating the chicken fried rice is bad, it's the opposite, loads of rice and lots of nice chunky bits of chicken on top. Have had other Chinese takeaways and always look to Simons as the standard. Like the fact you can watch it being prepared. I always phone and collect. We had a change last night and had the shredded crispy chicken in ginger and honey sauce and chicken fried rice. Lovely. You won't go wrong here , unless your very very picky.

I have been eating from Simon's kitchen for several years now and for some reason never put in a review.The food is always excellent deliveries are quick,If you require a Chinese meal, you will not go wrong getting a carry out from this establishment. In fact I'm having one tonight!!

Really did not like the food, just chucked out at speed.Ordered chicken fried rice, you would think they couldn't go wrong.It was easily the worse I have ever had, a tub of fried rice with a couple of bits of chicken lying on top of it.Poor, poor!!

very nice take out meals and the staff allow to you make small changes to the dishes when you order. I find a lot of places don't like you doing this however this is not the case here. If you want something added into a dish or removed I've never had an issue

We have been having food from SK for many years and the quality never changes. Very tasty freshly prepared Chinese food and each portion is enough for two! Particularly like Kung PO Mixed meat combo - always a treat.

We use them a couple of times a month and are rarely disappointed, though the the dishes often vary from one month to the next. The Kung Po chicken is a favourite and some times it is fairly mild, other times super spicy. The food tends to be better if you order mid week, don't know if it is different chefs at the weekend or just because it is busier, but it is always better than the weekends.

I order from Simon's Kitchen regularly and have never been let down. Food is always hot when it arrives and is not overpriced. Best chicken satay I've had at any Chinese!

Frequently use Simons kitchen very good quality & value.only request I would make is for them to consider preparing orders in the order they are received - seems every time I make a telephone order they priorities people walking in door so have yet to ever arrive to have order ready......... which is a wee bit annoying - though fair to say wait is worth great food :)

I would recommend this take away every time. I have tried many in the area but they are the best. I usually phone in my order and collect it but have some times used the delivery service which is quite quick. I would highly recommend their chicken curry. :-0)

Excellent takeaway, great Chinese food cooked with fresh ingredients in an open plan kitchen whilst you wait. Very busy, very lively, especially on a Friday and Saturday night, one of the few places you don’t mind waiting. Dishes that stand out for us are Kung Po (Chicken or Pork), Chicken with Asparagus and Cashew nuts, Beef and Blackbean and our girls love the Chicken Satay. Soups are also very good.Great takeaway, definitely recommended.

Used the take away service and it was ok.It was a week night and it still took 45 mins to get the food. And we only live down the road!The food itself was ok, very salty but the portion size was very decent!Would use again however i would probibly go in and order and take it away.
