One off the best fish & chips i ever had.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, i ordered food at 10.05 and the place is supposed to shut at 11 (what it says on google) then i was told that they left at 10.30 and i was not given my food or my money back. it is a shame because the food is actually quite nice here but you’ve stolen my money so most likely will not be ordering from here again. UPDATE I got my money back and will probably order again.

My Wife went in for a meal on Tuesday 23rd April 2024. I went in later to join her on entering I sat down for a while as I am disabled. While wondering what I was going to have, a person was smoking in front of the open doorway resulting in the smoke entering the premises. I asked the person to move away. They instead declined and continued smoking and saying the door could be closed. I asked a member of staff if this person was an employee and they said they were. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they were the assistant manager. I then said this is not acceptable to allow an employee to smoke at an open doorway. They then informed me that it was the manager smoking at an open doorway. I was also told I had no right to sit there as I had not bought anything. That's fair enough if that was my intention. But I had intended to buy something after sitting for a short while. Due to my disability I cannot just get out of my mobility scooter and immediately join a queue. However due to the interaction between a number of unpleasant and rude staff, I decided to leave and forget about any meal or drink. Due to this issue I will not be back at this outlet. I also have an issue with a blatant disregard of Scottish anti smoking laws, which clearly states smoking at the entrance of a building is not allowed. In the case of the infringement, the manager was actually standing of the street and at the threshold of the premises.

The best value for money in dundee, Battered Fish and Chips always freshly cooked and get delivered nice and crispy with big portions of chips, always a lovely meal!!

Extremadamente decepcionado, mi hermano pidió estilo canton dulce y agrio, estoy seguro que las cebollas estaban apagadas ya que tenían un sabor agrio y la salsa demasiado espesa, comió muy poco y varias horas después tuvo mala diarrea. Me dieron pollo al curry y las cebollas eran las mismas y me enfermaron. Nunca he estado tan decepcionado en el cantón.

Portions were very generous, I had ordered a dish for my partner and I along with a side, it was more than plenty! Delivery was friendly and quick, food was absolutely perfect if only could’ve been slightly warmer - but that’s to be expected of deliveries. Will definitely be ordering again!

Had the meal deal of a bacon roll and the coffee - good value - only issue is the large queue - perhaps due to being busy - perhaps a mistimed my visit - glad to see that this branch still offers the card version of the loyalty card - may be there is an older client that that visits!!

I see everything differently. The hotel is not for eating and is very cheap. The bar is almost fantastic. Five meter high walls in a house that is over 200 years old. Cool!

Waited a lifetime for bland food.

First time visiting and will be the last. The wait was very long. One elderly lady serving the tables, the food looked like it had be dropped on the floor and stood on then flung in a frier to boil the germs off. Disgusting and inedible. Cajun chicken was welded to the skillet and along with the black peppers. The chicken tikka on bed of pepper, tomatoes and broccoli was just peppers and also burnt onto skillet. The dresing looked like a drop of a overflying bird and a small one at that. Place overall is grubby. Toilets are a disgrace. God knows where you employ the chefs from but they need to be let go.. Vile and avoid

This was a great place to visit It was a quiet Tuesday night the staff were very friendly and hellful Free salad bar and unlimited soft drink option Well worth considering a visit

The food we had tasted good, but the service was painfully slow and a little disorganised. I also felt, almost £16 was a little expensive for two 6 inch subs, two packets of crisps and two dispensed drinks. Seating area needs attention too as some of the seat cushions were ripped and had tape on, which looked untidy.
