Nice friendly delivery guy, food was piping hot and lovely and fresh.

My god do Not eat here, got a sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was brown and watery and tasted like vinegar. Don't know how they get away with serving food this bad. Definitely a place to avoid.

Food came very fast, ordered the salt and pepper noodles and wow very dry noodles with salt and pepper chewy chicken .

Food was great, portions generous.

Special foo Yong tasteless and bland

Me and my friend where starving and I mean STARVING so we decided to give this Chinese a chance, firstly I walked into the shop to see the place was slightly a mess but that didn’t bother me as much as I was hungry, we got home opening our food excitingly as it smelled pleasant, I opened it to discover hell. I ordered a chicken chow main and it was like jelly, even my dog wouldn’t go near it, secondly I got s&p chicken and my mooth was on fireeeee but there was no flavour just spicy, and the chicken was rubber, the curry sauce came in a huge tub and tasted like it was store bought, the chips you only get 6, and the prawn crackers where low-key mid, I will NOT be back here again to pearl of honking now I have depression and have been prescribed anti depression and I have healthy dioreha.

main meal was fine but the bean sprouts were tastless and STALE !would NEVER order them again, went straight into the bin !!!!

Hi there, i accidentally ordered twice, received meal on time but to charges were taken, my fault but is it possible to take a refund please. Food was excellent as always with Pearl of Hong Kong.

The delivery time was quick however lack of chicken in the chicken and sweetcorn dish was disappointing only 4 small bits and rice a little stale

Food was decent the staff were friendly, shoutout to the boys Callum and Jack for getting the food out so quickly with very friendly service

the deep fried salt & pepper squid is magical. eating it as i type this, it’s delicious. as well as the curry sauce and the salt and pepper chicken. order was steaming hot even with delivery and sooo good for the price. AND they always make sure my delivery notes on any orders online are acknowledged.

Chicken chow mein with only noodles and chicken hahaha, salt & pepper chicken balls were disgusting ribs were okay

ordered food around 6.20pm. we waited the estimated time which was 7.20-7.40pm so asked just eat for update and was told they said sorry they're busy my food was being prepared and would be there by 8.50pm. fair enough a saturday is busy but come 8.50 still no food so I phoned and was told it had just left. our food arrived 9.15pm almost 3 hours later! absolutely shocking. asked for some money back through just eat for the inconvenience and has been refused. won't be ordering again anytime soon.

Absolutely shocking service tonight, normally been so reliable. Was told by app food would be 60-80 minutes, then updated to say 85-105 mins, just phoned after 115 mins to be told food hasn’t even been made!!! Realise places can be busy on Saturday evenings but places need to be realistic about delivery times at point of order. Very, very poor service.

Ordered at about 5.55pm order was due between 6.55-7.15 by 7.30 I contacted just eat and was told restaurant was busy good was due at 8.05pm food eventually arrived at 8pm would have been a good idea for them to update us on the delay.......1st time ordering from here food was just passable never had a chow mein in gravy before!! they will be pleased to know we won't be ordering from them again.

Decent Chinese,tried 4 a change n wasn't disappointed, good size portions

delivery was nice and quick, food was hot... unfortunately that's where the good kinda stops here. I used to love this take away. curry sauce used to be one of the best. nice and spicy. this time it was like a packet sauce from a supermarket. last couple of orders the quality just hasn't been that good. not terrible, but unfortunately won't be the next choice. food needs more care, quality and seasoning.

Food a was ok! But Bland.. chow mein didn’t taste like chow mein, Mongolian beef didn’t taste like Mongolian beef.. everything tasted the same, I can only guess food was not made by a Chinese chef

The noodles with the chow mein were soggy to the point of horrid. The curry sauce with the fried rice was spicy to the point it was painful to eat. The prawn toast was dripping with oil so much that it made me gag, i couldnt stand a second bite. The vegetable spring rolls were soggy and bland

Food was too spicy far more than normal

chips would be better if they were crispier and not have the much curry sauce in with the rice make it very soggy but very tasty

Chicken fried rice wasn’t up to its usual high standards, apart from that everything was good.

Special fried rice no chicken pork or prawns chopped up bits of ham and peas. Curry sauce side dish very spicy and orange in colour wouldn’t buy from them again

The food was amazing, but the drink was forgotten. Either at the shop or with the delivery driver. Not the worst thing to happen, though. Food was still fantastic!

Food arrived in a good time. Unfortunately the salt & pepper chicken noodles that were delivered were almost bone cold nevermind stuck to the small pizza box they came in... won't be ordering those again

I get its a busy Saturday night but if cant fulfill the orders properly then dont take them. Mongolian beef was so spicy it was inedible, had it before from here and was delicious so dont know what happened. Shame it took so long, waited over 2 hours and then food wasnt amazing either. Pity

Chicken undercooked again won't be back.

Ordered at 6-30pm. Was supposed to arrive at latest 7-40pm. Was told it would then arrive at 8-20pm. Didn’t arrive till 8-35 pm. To wait that long was an absolute joke. Also supposed to get free prawn crackers didn’t even receive them. Ask for money back. Didn’t even get that. Will not be ordering again and will be deleting the app. Absolute joke.

Only bad thing was the salt & pepper chicken balls were far too spicy which sounds silly but they are absolutely caked in chilli seeds so had to try & wipe them off in order to eat them & after that they were still too spicy/nippy for me but everyone is different so just to let people know

order confirmed 5.23 delivered 7oclock no mushrooms with my rice and curry sauce waited all that time for a disappointed meal not happy at all

Chicken curry cooked just way like not salty like previous order husband loved king prawns on both his meals

Food was ready almost 20 minutes before the specified collection time, so had to race to pick it up so it wouldn’t be cold. When I got home, the chicken fried rice was burned and the chow mein was tasteless. Very disappointed in a takeout that used to be very good.

The best takeaway I have ever been to. The owner is so nice and the food is always fresh. Amazing curry sauce (best I've had). Open late so good for my work hours. It's a must try and my top pick!

I put the wrong address as we have moved, driver was good enough to still bring it to us .

Too much batter not enough chicken

The tubs came damaged and had leaked, the curry sauce was far to spicy, ordered as a anniversary meal as our usual was shut so thought we would give this 1 a try, but very disappointed it ended up in the bin, delivery was good was delivered on time and the driver was friendly but I won’t be ordering again

The food was horrible. Some bits of chicken are stringy and slimy, some were hard and chewy. Deep fried batter was undercooked soft and mushy. Rice container wasn't totally filled and tasted like home cooked rice i could of done better myself. All went in the bin, won't be back

Phoned to ask where order was and was told it was dispatched still waiting 40 mins later

Salt and chilli so hot could hardly eat. Could be preference but also hardly any onions. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Worst Chinese meal I’ve ever eaten. Should’ve thrown my £15 in the bin. Chicken sweetcorn soup had what looked like bits of white plastic in it (I think it was starch) and the sweetcorn tasted strange. Weird singular sliver of what was meant to be chicken but didn’t taste of chicken. The deep fried chicken in plum sauce was awful. Overcooked hard bits of chicken in a sickly sweet sauce. Bogging. It went in the bin and even the dogs didn’t want any.

Disappointed that no green peppers in king prawn green peppers and black bean sauce. Only red peppers however was good quality food

Called restaurant to say wrong address had been ordered to and to fix the order/cancel and reorder (which is what the restaurant advised). We cancelled the original and reordered, then received cheeky phone calls from the delivery driver and owner of the restaurant, continually speaking over me and refusing to help in the situation. Said they are sending the food, which is on the other side of the city, to us now and that it will be in “acceptable condition”. Disgusting.

Curry was not nice, the rice was really hard. Was meant to be fried rice but didn’t look the best.

Ordered 1730 estimated delivery 1830-1850. Enjoying sunshine in back garden. Missed call at 1810. Failed to leave at front door. 2 cars in driveway. Many phone calls later ordered delivered 1935. Poor service, previously orders always left at front door given it had been paid for. Won’t be back. 🙃

Food was ok, if a little bland. Nothing extraordinary. Nearly every dish was packed out with onions and peppers. Delivered on time. Probably won't order again.

Hadn’t been in a long time due to a dodgy meal many years ago but decided to try it again as it’s close to home and I have to admit the food was really tasty. Will be back. Only grip is they charge £1 for a bag. Surely this is not right as other places are only 10 or 20p.

Poor quality food which is unusual because I’ve had carry outs from here before. 2 meals, one was bland( chicken with overcooked broccoli and oyster sauce) other a very watery beef Szechuan dish.

Food was delivered very fast. I really wasn't a fan of the food it didn't taste very fresh to me and ended up just eating the chips and rice and leaving the rest.

The sweet and sour sauce tasted completely off, it wasn’t sweet and sour at all, and the grease from (I’m assuming) salt and pepper chicken balls leaked through the lackluster cardboard containers all over every single other item, each item was packaged completely randomly as well, as opposed to being packaged as the meal it was meant to be, the curry sauce was with the sweet and sour chicken balls etc, small thing but very annoying.

Ribs tastless and very greasy. Duck springs rolls OK but no sauce. Sweet sour just OK and not as expected

Really good food and really nice people

Ordered from here a few times and its always been good but this last order was terrible. Duck and pinapple was in a really weird thick bland sauce. It was almost like a really thick bland gravy, didn't taste like pineapple at all. The cuts of meat where poor quality. The rice tasted a bit stale. The salt and pepper chips where super bland like they'd never seen salt or pepper in their life. The 10 duck spring rolls where good though and delivery time was fine. A bit early infact. Super disappointed as when ive ordered here previously it has been excellent. Very sad 😞
