The food was not cooked right and could not eat any of it as it wasn’t cooked enough to even eat

The large crispy spring rolls are SOOO GOOD. The special chowmein wasn’t as good as I was hoping.. Quite bland I had to add soysauce.. Hot and sour soup 7/10.

Food was late however delivery driver was apologetic about this and we weren't fussed too much about that. Food was very disappointing, salt and pepper chips/chicken balls not enjoyable at all and had a weird, greasy seasoning on them in comparison to other places. Curry sauce portion was absolutely tiny for the price in comparison to other places, there was no shrimp in the special fried rice, the chips were very slimy, chicken noodle soup tasted watery. Unfortunately not enjoyable!

Salt and pepper noodles were salt and chilli and so hot inedible, noodles were cold and hard

Just had the most delicious food. And the delivery lady was a delight! I will be ordering again. Fab!!

Late arrival by 20 mins, but you covered yourselves by saying estimated arrival time. Sweet and sour - good chicken but doughy batter. Ribs - not a lot of meat on them.

The Dishes are bland boiled rice was cold. Using Blue gloves touching raw meat then cook. Then when food was cooked put into the container then use same gloves tock cooked meat to layer chicken on top. Not going back again

Reheated food..won’t order from here again

Always use this take away and never been disappointed food is piping hot and delicious highly recommended

One Portion Of Chips Was Missing From Order Again!

1 pound for a bag WOW. found onion in my curry sauce. not one thing in my order had onions. place can be good half the time but its literally a 50/50 on the food.

Forgot prawn crackers but tried to deliver them aster I had gone out so 10/10 for effort. Chicken satay said 4x sticks only had 2 and a 1/2 😆

Was delivered on time, however the food was bland & tasteless, soy sauce had to be added to chow main, also no option to remove pees, salt & peper chips was mostly chilli, no salt, sweet and sour chicken tasted off same with the rice and spring rolls

My parents ordered from here just last night and had an entire night of the worst food poisoning. They were both so sick and ill that NHS had to get involved. So dangerous. Then when my parents phoned this restaurant to complain, the person on the phone did not seem to care. Please don’t order from here.

A little late in delivery but it was Saturday night so understandable. Food piping hot - Mongolan Chicken was tremendous as was Hot and Sour Soup. Absolute pile of Chicken Balls and Salt and Pepper chips hit the spot. Very good

Curry sauce was actually really nice but more needed in the container and the salt n chilli chips were mostly chilli, no salt so were a tad bland. I added my own salt n pepper seasoning to make them taste better.

I paid 13 pounds for a tiny container of chowmain/ I've had two meals and delivery at 1 pound more very disappointing 😞

My god do Not eat here, got a sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was brown and watery and tasted like vinegar. Don't know how they get away with serving food this bad. Definitely a place to avoid.

Special foo Yong tasteless and bland

Me and my friend where starving and I mean STARVING so we decided to give this Chinese a chance, firstly I walked into the shop to see the place was slightly a mess but that didn’t bother me as much as I was hungry, we got home opening our food excitingly as it smelled pleasant, I opened it to discover hell. I ordered a chicken chow main and it was like jelly, even my dog wouldn’t go near it, secondly I got s&p chicken and my mooth was on fireeeee but there was no flavour just spicy, and the chicken was rubber, the curry sauce came in a huge tub and tasted like it was store bought, the chips you only get 6, and the prawn crackers where low-key mid, I will NOT be back here again to pearl of honking now I have depression and have been prescribed anti depression and I have healthy dioreha.

main meal was fine but the bean sprouts were tastless and STALE !would NEVER order them again, went straight into the bin !!!!

Hi there, i accidentally ordered twice, received meal on time but to charges were taken, my fault but is it possible to take a refund please. Food was excellent as always with Pearl of Hong Kong.

The delivery time was quick however lack of chicken in the chicken and sweetcorn dish was disappointing only 4 small bits and rice a little stale

Food was decent the staff were friendly, shoutout to the boys Callum and Jack for getting the food out so quickly with very friendly service

the deep fried salt & pepper squid is magical. eating it as i type this, it’s delicious. as well as the curry sauce and the salt and pepper chicken. order was steaming hot even with delivery and sooo good for the price. AND they always make sure my delivery notes on any orders online are acknowledged.

ordered food around 6.20pm. we waited the estimated time which was 7.20-7.40pm so asked just eat for update and was told they said sorry they're busy my food was being prepared and would be there by 8.50pm. fair enough a saturday is busy but come 8.50 still no food so I phoned and was told it had just left. our food arrived 9.15pm almost 3 hours later! absolutely shocking. asked for some money back through just eat for the inconvenience and has been refused. won't be ordering again anytime soon.

Ordered at about 5.55pm order was due between 6.55-7.15 by 7.30 I contacted just eat and was told restaurant was busy good was due at 8.05pm food eventually arrived at 8pm would have been a good idea for them to update us on the delay.......1st time ordering from here food was just passable never had a chow mein in gravy before!! they will be pleased to know we won't be ordering from them again.

Absolutely shocking service tonight, normally been so reliable. Was told by app food would be 60-80 minutes, then updated to say 85-105 mins, just phoned after 115 mins to be told food hasn’t even been made!!! Realise places can be busy on Saturday evenings but places need to be realistic about delivery times at point of order. Very, very poor service.

delivery was nice and quick, food was hot... unfortunately that's where the good kinda stops here. I used to love this take away. curry sauce used to be one of the best. nice and spicy. this time it was like a packet sauce from a supermarket. last couple of orders the quality just hasn't been that good. not terrible, but unfortunately won't be the next choice. food needs more care, quality and seasoning.

Food a was ok! But Bland.. chow mein didn’t taste like chow mein, Mongolian beef didn’t taste like Mongolian beef.. everything tasted the same, I can only guess food was not made by a Chinese chef

The noodles with the chow mein were soggy to the point of horrid. The curry sauce with the fried rice was spicy to the point it was painful to eat. The prawn toast was dripping with oil so much that it made me gag, i couldnt stand a second bite. The vegetable spring rolls were soggy and bland

chips would be better if they were crispier and not have the much curry sauce in with the rice make it very soggy but very tasty

Chicken fried rice wasn’t up to its usual high standards, apart from that everything was good.

Special fried rice no chicken pork or prawns chopped up bits of ham and peas. Curry sauce side dish very spicy and orange in colour wouldn’t buy from them again

The food was amazing, but the drink was forgotten. Either at the shop or with the delivery driver. Not the worst thing to happen, though. Food was still fantastic!

I get its a busy Saturday night but if cant fulfill the orders properly then dont take them. Mongolian beef was so spicy it was inedible, had it before from here and was delicious so dont know what happened. Shame it took so long, waited over 2 hours and then food wasnt amazing either. Pity

Chicken undercooked again won't be back.

Ordered at 6-30pm. Was supposed to arrive at latest 7-40pm. Was told it would then arrive at 8-20pm. Didn’t arrive till 8-35 pm. To wait that long was an absolute joke. Also supposed to get free prawn crackers didn’t even receive them. Ask for money back. Didn’t even get that. Will not be ordering again and will be deleting the app. Absolute joke.

Only bad thing was the salt & pepper chicken balls were far too spicy which sounds silly but they are absolutely caked in chilli seeds so had to try & wipe them off in order to eat them & after that they were still too spicy/nippy for me but everyone is different so just to let people know

Chicken curry cooked just way like not salty like previous order husband loved king prawns on both his meals

Food was ready almost 20 minutes before the specified collection time, so had to race to pick it up so it wouldn’t be cold. When I got home, the chicken fried rice was burned and the chow mein was tasteless. Very disappointed in a takeout that used to be very good.

The best takeaway I have ever been to. The owner is so nice and the food is always fresh. Amazing curry sauce (best I've had). Open late so good for my work hours. It's a must try and my top pick!

Too much batter not enough chicken

The food was horrible. Some bits of chicken are stringy and slimy, some were hard and chewy. Deep fried batter was undercooked soft and mushy. Rice container wasn't totally filled and tasted like home cooked rice i could of done better myself. All went in the bin, won't be back

The tubs came damaged and had leaked, the curry sauce was far to spicy, ordered as a anniversary meal as our usual was shut so thought we would give this 1 a try, but very disappointed it ended up in the bin, delivery was good was delivered on time and the driver was friendly but I won’t be ordering again

Worst Chinese meal I’ve ever eaten. Should’ve thrown my £15 in the bin. Chicken sweetcorn soup had what looked like bits of white plastic in it (I think it was starch) and the sweetcorn tasted strange. Weird singular sliver of what was meant to be chicken but didn’t taste of chicken. The deep fried chicken in plum sauce was awful. Overcooked hard bits of chicken in a sickly sweet sauce. Bogging. It went in the bin and even the dogs didn’t want any.
