Canton House in Dundee City

Extremadamente decepcionado, mi hermano pidió estilo canton dulce y agrio, estoy seguro que las cebollas estaban apagadas ya que tenían un sabor agrio y la salsa demasiado espesa, comió muy poco y varias horas después tuvo mala diarrea. Me dieron pollo al curry y las cebollas eran las mismas y me enfermaron. Nunca he estado tan decepcionado en el cantón.

Customer service goes out the window in this establishment,crispy pancake rolls were as soggy as wet sponge with grease,got order wrong,when complained on the phone attitude from the young guy answering his reply only okay,when returned to the shop the money was almost thrown at me from the female,would strongly give this a miss and giving one star is being over generous,they also charge 40p if order is below £10 and using a card which is against the law, I will be taking this further with authorities.

Iv was waiting on food arriving for 40 minutes and was made to go collect it and when got home and open then food there missing items and had to go collect it once again actually biggest waste of time ever

I hate to give poor review but the quality of food and service was very poor . Yet again once home we found our order was missing an item , yet was charged for it . Also the quality was poor fried rice was stodgy , not cooked while we waited . As previous review mentioned since new management have taking over it has gone down hill. The pics I have added are of a meal we got in August, having to pour your meal from the carrier bag.....I will let you decide. Was so looking forward to my meal last night , straight into the bin .

Ordered delivery of meal for 7pm was still waiting at 7.45pm. This is not acceptable. I telephoned they said they were very busy i asked for a refund but they did not know how to work card machine to issue refund. Absolute nightmare! Why take orders over the phone to be delivered ar a certain time when they are not. Considering i phoned this order in at 5.30pm for 7pm thats shocking customer service!! Oh yes got it delivered at 19.45pm carrots hard, onions hard meal was terrible.

Food is fresh and service quality is good ！

Was just in today, always friendly fast service. Food is hot, reasonably priced and always seems wholesome and relatively healthy -- not oily or anything like that. Ingredients seem to be high quality, meat is tender and veg is fresh and crunchy. Always a nice balance of flavours too, though if you like spicy food you might want to ask for extra spicy. Really a very good take out, can't recommend enough really.

I got some food from here last night as I was in need of something tasty and substantial and I wasn’t disappointed. The curry sauce tastes amazing . I will have to try this take away again. Loved it

Tried to order chips and curry sauce (£3.70) with the curry sauce on the side. First she tried to charge me for chips and curry sauce and then another portion of curry sauce, and I had to explain to her again I want them separate. Then she tried to charge me £5.25 for a separate portion of chips and a separate portion of curry sauce, and when I asked her why it was so much more all she said was it has to be charged separate. They don't make it together in the first place so I'm struggling to understand the price hike for them not putting the sauce on the chips.

I came here regularly for years and it would be of comparable quality to more well known authentic Chinese restaurants like Mandarin Gardens while being more local. However, the last two times the food quality has been unacceptably poor. I can no longer recommend this takeaway restaurant. It is greatly disappointing that you decided to both raise the price and reduce the quality. Sauces now watery and flavourless so does not coat the meat, water chestnut no longer added, less spring onion and fresh chilli, velveted chicken dry and chewy. The woman now working in the front-of-house (British, brunette) needs to work on customer service skills. I would be happy to discuss these points further with the management team, however I will not buy from here again.

The quality of the food has been deteriorating at Canton House over recent months. Pity because I've used this place regularly for many years and it's always been consistently good quality. Started to deteriorate when it changed hands. Wont be going back.

This was previously an extremely good Chinese takeaway- it appears to either be under new management or have an entirely new staff team. The last 2 times I have had food from here the order has been wrong, I felt that staff did not manage this satisfactorily. I don’t think I’ll use it again. The food does taste fine, but I would recommend thoroughly checking any order before you leave the premises.

I ordered a takeaway at 8.20pm, was told it would be delivered shortly, at 9.30pm we phoned back asking where our order was, we were told the driver was on his way, at 9.50pm we phoned back again only to be told our order would be another half an hour, apparently they mixed up numbers, whatever ever that means, won't be back and don't recommend

We wanted something filling and close by so came here. We wanted something simple so all ordered chow mein - chicken for 2 of us; house special for 1. Good size portion, very hot (temperature) and very nice. Friendly staff.

By far my favourite Chinese takeaway in Dundee. Food is always brilliant and really consistent, you know exactly what you're getting. We've gone here for years, only ever had one error with an order in that time - and they immediately fixed it no questions asked and provided phenomenal service. The same family have run it for years and they do an outstanding job day in day out

Have been eating here for years, the Sweet and Sour Canton style chicken has always been great.

This place is carry-out only. Someone has posted a picture of their food on a plate but they must have done so after they got home because their are no dining in facilities here. The food o got was freshly cooked and very nice. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. You seldom have to wait for more than 10 minutes for your order. Busy and popular chinese takeaway

This was the first time I have used this takeaway since moving house. The appetiser of salt and chilli deep fried chicken wings was delicious and sufficient enough for a main meal. The chicken curry fried rice was tasty and so plentiful that I only ate half. The rest I have saved for breakfast! What?

Never had a bad meal here it's always very good quality with nice friendly staff

Service was great, ordered 5 meals and it was ready in ten-fifteen minutes, really nice food. No complaints at all, salt and chilli chips were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Poor service daughter just been into shop ordered 2 fried rice & curry sauce and 1 chips & curry sauce 2 portions prawn crackers brought up to 9wells and all the meal as not there phone the shop and said my daughter would have to purchase another meal, no way robbing arses. Just phoned the shop and the women thinks it's ok to shout at customers telling me there very busy so can deliver up to the hospital. AVOID THIS PLACE VERY VERY POOR SERVICE

A huge group of us got together for take away from here, our order came to just over £100. The quality and the amount of food we got for that was amazing! Would definitely recommend!

Curry sauce and chips was really salty, wouldn't go back

This is a Chinese restaurant (carry outs only) that we have used for a number of years. The food has always been excellent, really tasty and freshly made. The service is also excellent, allowing you to just go in and order or phone in order and collect. It takes about 15 minutes either way. Finally, the cost is very reasonable and they provide free prawn crackers for orders over £10 (last time I checked). All in all well worth trying!

Great food and fast delivery and person on the phone was also easy to understand and placed my order correctly.
