I received a wrong order which was ment to be my tea

no driver arrived to the restaurant so pizza was thrown out. tried to cancel but it would not let me. my elderly gran left alone in the house with no food so I had to go elsewhere. would like a refund.

The pizza and the halloumi sticks were lukewarm at best, by the second slice and second stick: the rest was cold... Very disappointing and my time slot was bumped forward at least twice.

We don’t get takeaway food a lot (third time this year I believe, so maybe don’t have a lot to compare Pizza Hut to) and this is one of the reasons why. We ordered 2 x large pizzas to collect early Saturday evening past, got our confirmation email advising collection between 17:53 - 17:58. Arrived 17:55 and was told it would be another 5-10 minutes.. The flustered response about the delay, something about web orders and the queue in front and behind me should’ve been a give away; but I politely waited. I returned to the counter 15 minutes later to be greeted by the same, but now more flustered, man like I’d only just arrived. Was told again it wouldn’t be long. Waited until 18:25, went back to the counter to ask for our pizzas or a refund as we had another order to collect elsewhere that was now getting cold. The same man went to the kitchen and waited there for a few minutes before coming back with our food. No apology for the 35-40 minute wait - probably because they had no idea how long I’d actually been there. Only consolidation was that the food was hot and OK/good taste-wise. In the time I was there, two customers and one Just Eat driver cancelled their order and left. No idea if this is typical of this Pizza Hut or something had happened (as no explanation was given) and can’t really blame the guy that was there trying to do his best, but won’t be back.

It's OK. Nothing wow. A little dirty in places.

First time visitor to Pizza Hut! It was such a good experience. The lady that welcomed us was so friendly and inviting. The restaurant was clean and the food was fantastic, everything was fresh and really hot. Would highly recommend the apple crumble cookie dough - I could of eaten it 5 times over 🤩

The food was amazing!! Make sure you order the new Apple Crumble cookie dough, is absolutely fantastic!! Service was excellent, the ladies in front of house really looked after us and definitely made us feel welcome and looked after. 100% recommend it!

Great pizza hut. Quick, friendly service but with online ordering which might be challenging for some, but I'm sure the staff can help.

I liked the salad bar and being able just to help myself. It all looked fresh and was well stocked. Plenty attentive staff when I needed a box for takeaway left over pizza. I would have liked to order the old fashioned way but felt pushed to use my phone/qr code.

Ice cream spilled all over the boxes seeping in to the onion rings and garlic bread. Both pizzas seriously undercooked.

There is a promo for a 25% discount with a cineworld membership, advertised for ALL Pizza Hut restaurants, 7 days a week. The only (on a Saturday) waitress was unaware of the promotion, and the manager denied it showing us a line of text in one of his instruction papers. Despite us showing him that the terms and conditions of the promo were clear and that we were right, he didn't offer any solution, showing pretty poor customer service skills. Without the discount, it would have been around 40£ for 1 pizza and 2 beers - which is a rip-off-, so we left and therefore cannot express judgement on the food quality.

Major mistakes related to high pricing, menu complexity and digital process of ordering, lack of labeling of salad bar foods, poor quality of food. No real value here...sorry.

First time in Pizza hut in a long time. It's a self service type meno, scan QR code on table, choose everything you want and pay through app. Curious on why at the end it pushes for service tip?? So a standard pizza for 1, with a side, drinks and unlimited salad, then a pudding was roughly £28. Was very nice, fresh and a lot.

We ordered to takeaway, Wendy was so friendly and charming! Food was ready in 15 like she said and our nephew loved it! Thanks!

So to start with i booked a table and 20 minutes later was told had to order online using a qr code 🙄and then i had to pay online.. 25 minutes after arriving the drinks arrived and to my right was a child who was watching a film on his telephone that was playing a movie 🎬.. loudly whilst trying to stuff food into his mouth.. my glass of wine turned up however it wasnt a glass to drink my wine out of it was a plastic glass .. nice..not. The food however, was reasonable and the servers attentiveness was spot on.. would I pay £50 again for two people to eat here ? No it's not worth 50 of my gbp I can go elsewhere for a far nicer experience for the same sort of money.. it felt like a cattle shed.. spraying tables with cleaner next to where I'm eating is also not the best practise..

Salad bar was good and drinks were easy and available. Variety of food was good and very tasty. However the staff were scruffy and morose and some of the buffet pizzas were barely warm.

Pizza hut has went down hill drastically, first off its cashless, and then you are pointed to the direction of a table, and handed a menu to which you order yourself online no interaction with any one. So no fun face to face with the employees bit of banter find out what deals there is etc. Was ½ expecting a shout to go build and cook the pizzas myself if I'm honest. And wash up after wards. Horrible experience, if I go out for food I expect a minimum service and it's quite clearly above what pizza hit think the minimum is. If I want to do stuff by myself I'd go to fast food places not a restaurant. "Covid" was 4 years ago, the half arsed approach has worn thin. Will take alot of persuasion to get me back to a pizza hut.

Food was good, but wasn't worth the money that you pay for.

Not a single smile amongst the staff, a ridiculous QR code phone ordering system and a mediocre buffet, pizza is alright though. I remember it being much better, friendlier and warmer atmosphere. It's kinda like a soulless food factory now, bit of a shame and unlikely to be back...

Arrived told no tables the place is empty 4 tables getting used I hope pizza hut closes down might get better service elsewhere if you don't want to work go sit at home manger needs a good wash and iron your clothes

The food, the environment and mainly the staff are 100%. Highly recommend this branch. Thank you so much guys for the food and for being so nice.

¿Qué le ha pasado a Pizza Hut? Familia de 4 , entramos y nos dijeron que tenemos que pedir online. Nos llevó una eternidad para trabajar en la aplicación y encontrar lo que todo el mundo quería, una vez que lo habíamos decidido, literalmente nos detuvimos aquí para tomar un poco de pizza y una bebida durante un largo viaje en coche, nada elegante - la factura llegó a casi 70 libras, SIN BEBIDAS! Lo siento pero me niego a pagar casi 70 libras por 4 pizzas. Rebajamos nuestra orden y acabamos de conseguir a los niños una cosa de trato de comida cada uno. , también compartimos una bebida sin fondo. No me importa pagar por comida de calidad, pero esto es un poco de masa, salsa de tomate y un poco de queso y nadie puede molestarse en servirme, y como alguien más dijo, la mejilla para preguntar una vez que haya ordenado la comida si desea darles propina. Nunca volveremos a poner un pie en otra cabaña de pizza de nuevo, solía ser un buen regalo para los niños, pero no a ese precio, especialmente cuando McDonalds está justo al otro lado de la carretera por la mitad del precio!

Random trip to pizza hut and was presently surprised how good it was. The staff were very welcoming and got shown to a table right away. Given menus and was explained.tk about the ordering system is now done over mobile via a QR code. Ordering system was easy to use and well set out. The food was rather good, can tell that the pizza is freshly made and just cook. The bases where light and fluffy and the toppings very good also. The entire restaurant was very well and very clean also. Great family atmosphere all round. For 3 adult and 1 child we were about £70 odd but that was all you could eat and bottomless drinks for 3 adults. On of us had a lactose allergy but was restricted to only 1 pizza to get, which could be improved on.

Overall a good experience! The salad bar was lovely and fresh and all food was hot and yummy. I unfortunately didn't enjoy my pizza as I felt it was tough to chew however staff dealt with it very well and remade me a pizza with a different base to take home which was delicious! Couldn't fault the service and once promptly rectified all the food we had was great!

QR code ordering is game changing. In the past it would be a struggle to get a waiter to take your order. This is much preferable.

Payment by card only (okay, can manage that, I suppose) but there was "a problem" with their salad bar. No use - we left and dined elsewhere.

The food was fine with good service. It's a franchise, what more can I say. The salad bar was lacking lettuce the day I went.....but otherwise the salad was fresh.

Freezing and ice cream melted everywhere

I’m Celiac and finding good gluten free food is always hard but this has become my new favourite pizza place. It’s delicious, soft and crunchy, and the individuals size is very generous. The place itself is great as well, the manager helped me order my gluten free pizza on a deal with my non celiac partner, which was so nice of her. The waiting time was not too long either, and although I didn’t sit in the restaurant atmosphere looked good from the waiting area. Hope they expand the gluten free menu to other items too!

What went well? Everything really. Made welcome, and told about mobile ordering with choice of team member taking order if needed (it wasn't - but team member checked that we were managing ok) - (I must look old!!). Ordering by mobile is quite simple, the food choice was good - something there for everyone, and our pizzas were first class. Finally, tap water for free - other food outlets should take note here.

Just placed an order and it’s was all wrong. Called the manager to explain and she was the most rude obnoxuis woman I have ever spoken to. I asked her Name so I knew who I was speaking to and he reply was “I’m the manager that’s on shift”. I then asked for her first name to which she replied I don’t need to give you that. What a way to start a conversation with your customers. No interest in helping me what so ever, a word of advice for her if she doesn’t like her job get a new one. Managers cost ZERO! pathetic

Phoned at 3 50 pm and was given a delivery of 430 pm.... At 530 it arrived cold, when i phoned to aske where the pizza was i had a girl with attitude on the phone..

If you have the lunch buffet you may have to wait for a pizza topping you like.

Service was terrible despite being quiet. Pizza dough was over proofed, heavy and very chewy. Couldn't get a hold of staff to complain so our group eventually just left. Also tried to use a gift card but it didn't work on their website and also no staff taking us on (they push you to pay online at the table). The website asking for a tip for staff too is a bit of a joke considering the lack of service. Nobody even came to ask if the food was okay.

You know exactly what you'll get quality always good.

Avoid! Absolutely awful place went in for buffet hardly any pizza on the counter when asked for a refund after eating one slice of pizza been told I can have one to find out after few days I'm only getting 50% back .so been charged 20£ for slice of pizza shame on you pizza hut

Food and staff good no complaints but have a really bad complaint ladies toilets are needing some thought about them put it this way do you think all ladies to be size 8 to average 16 above that well ladies I hope you are ready to be in obstacle corse you open the door a lot of thought ladies picture yourself absolutely really need to wee/pee get in toilet door then it's 😀 wow. So you think how will this work 🤔 Aha so move sanitary bin at the same time you shimy 1 step to your ĺeft or right finally you can finally on toilet sanitary bin against the door. Then you think I have to do all jthat again to.

Disappointing. The waiter who cleared away our plates etc, charming, helpful, professional. We went for the all in buffet. Had had this in Livingston recently. Well worth the weekday cost. Dundee - pizzas were fine but very limited eg no pepperoni , not many on the hot plate at any one time. I had to ask for pepperoni. Not many thin base either. Disappointing. I paid for 6 adults and one child at £21.99 each for adults. Not worth the money this time. Sorry.

Pizza was very fresh as we arrived just when they opened on a Wednesday, so was buffet for all 3 of us. Plenty variety and regularly replaced. Staff were fine, not overly obtrusive but there if needed. Wasn't busy when we arrived , but seem to be as we were leaving. Nothing special, but filling and fresh.

Decent food for price but this no cash nonsense and ordering through an app is an absolute joke . Can't be bothered with it at all .

Lukewarm food, dirty restaurant and the worst customer service around.. avoid this trash and spend your money somewhere else

Staff are friendly and helpful. All ordering is by app, which is annoying. Salad bar is normally in need of topping up no matter when you visit. Every time you visit something else has been cut from the salad bar - pasta, cous cous, apples, dressings etc etc. We used to go regularly but we go elsewhere these days.

Food was almost cold. Had to heat it up again. Pizza tasted like the cardboard it was resting on.

The buffet food is all dried out as its been sitting out for ages, get the food take it to the table and itll be cold, not much of choice for food, 2 pastas and few pizzas which obviously arent as good as quality as its in hot hold. Ice cream was 10/10 tho

Not much atmosphere on a Monday night - for a time, we were the only customers. Lasagne was great, but chips and onion rings went cold very quickly because they were not served on heated plates, but on paper in plastic baskets. Salad items were nice, but having to put them in a small bowl means you can't lay items out separately, and first items picked are buried

In my opinion the place is very run down and looks tired . We chose the buffet options Definitely not worth the money. The pizzas were slow to come out and not a lot of toppings on them . Won't be returning.

The big male (assuming) manager has an appalling attitude towards customers when confused about the ordering system he responded, do you want a pizza or not? Absolutely ridiculous. My husband also noticed his fowl attitude towards a young waitress when making mistakes. My heart could only break for her as she looked so flustered and nervous. Food was mediocre. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Food did arrive on time but was barely warm. I didn't get the cinnamel cookie dough I ordered they just sent the white chocolate and caramel with no reason why. Still good although disappointed it wasn't what I ordered

Asking You’re OK? several times doesnt cover for the fact you thought we were going to share a coke and decided to walk up to us to tell us we can’t share a drink, and if I dare share a sip we would be charged for a second drink. We visited with 2 of our under 3 children who were not in a mood to eat. So instead of wasting our money on 2 meals that we were sure to go waste we offered our salad which they barely ate. It looks like this woman was frustrated about it so she decided to embarrass us like this. We are not some lowlife scums to be confronted like this and deserve some respect. The pizza bread was bland and I did not enjoy the Pizza. Margarita and veg pizza were both not as I remember them. This isn’t the same Pizza Hut Pizza I grew up eating. This experience is the end of the line for my relationship with Pizza Hut. I hope you do more to retain your remaining customers.

Excellent, friendly, helpful service. Usually swing past when passing & always seem to find a table even when busy. Pizza,s always delicious & good quality salad. Recommend here when driving thru Dundee.

Payed for the buffet. Pizzas were very slow coming out, there were a few other tables also having the buffet. The chef was really struggling to keep up. Serving/waiting staff were really friendly and attentive. Nice clean restaurant, just a little let down with the speed the pizza buffet was being replenished.

The particular delivery driver always takes a long way to get here, and as a result, my food was barely warm. Any other delivery driver and my food is still hot.

It's pizza hut at lunch time so you know what to expect. Only one member of staff on shift...be prepared to order everything on your phone... not ideal for some of the older generations! Staff turned up towards the end as we left...very friendly and kind.

Stopped here en-route to Glasgow from Aberdeen for a quick dinner and it worked out perfectly for us. Staff were friendly and attentive, restaurant was in good condition, food was good and delivered quickly. Will definitely stop by again in future when doing the same trip. Busy restaurant so I advise booking ahead.

Refused to take cash, absolute joke.

Then restaurant was busy and there was only a few young people servings so food was slow. We where informed when we entered that all the restaurant's where going cash free (only take card).

Fairly usual PH experience. Order by app only is rubbish and suggesting a tip up front is laughable. Can't use the bundle offers if you want a drink while you decide, app service is great for mac Ds etc but not impressed for more than grab and go fast food.

One oven was broken causing meaning the buffet had no pepperoni who goes to pizza hut for pasta?

Went here with family, had the buffet however there was not much choice and the choices on offer was cold. Service is pretty much self service at pizza hut now. Atmosphere wasn't much going on.

I paid 20 bucks for a large macaroni pizza , expecting big things from Pizza Hut , due to advertised item , not so lucky , tiny pizza barely held together with about 6 bits of macaroni, disappointing!

Well run Restaurant at the Kingway West Retail Park and staff are friendly,polite and professional and make you feel welcomed and buffet had plenty of choices and was all tasty and great choices of different juices and ice-cream was good with choice of toppings and sauces and place was spotless and tables were are clean with clean cuterly and highly recommended with competitive prices.

Not much choice of pizza on the buffet all same type of pizza only difference was the base , maybe it was time of our visit as was later into lunch time .

We went there last night and went for the £50 deal - two pizzas, two sides and two desserts ☺️ pizza hut has changed since I last went many moons ago! We both had thin crust and the pizzas weren't as greasy as dominoes which is a plus 😊 especially since that was what bugged my ibs the most 😶‍🌫️ and the loaded cheesy bite bites side was nommy 😊 I had the cookie dough dessert which was tasty - though not as tasty as kaspas - but all in all I'd come back again 😋

Mobile ordering is quick and easy. Buffet till 3pm everyday is great, able to just go and get food immediately. Pretty much the only mainstream pizza buffet in the country, combined with salad bar and ice cream factory makes for such a great eating experience.

What has happened to The Hut?! Capitalism has killed the whole experience. A lot less service, a lot worse food, a lot more expensive. We were shocked actually at the price for what we got. Cashless, ordering via an app which was not really different to ordering for delivery. Lack of cheese (had to pay extra for more). Basically self serve. Gutted.

First time visiting Pizza Hut since 2021. Stood for at least 5 minutes waiting to be seated. There was another couple behind us. Not that I blame the young man who found us a table. He was basically a one man’s band. He also served the food, took orders from the takeaway. Answered the phone and cleaned up after customers. That’s a lot for one person. I personally don’t like the ordering and paying via the app. I thought it was during the PCR pandemic and things would be back to normal. But no. To the food. My 9 year granddaughter had the adult portion of macaroni and cheese. It was never an adult portion. Sure it’s on a long dish and looks plentiful until you notice it’s only one layer thick. Overpriced at £12.99. The 11” pepperoni feast was not a feast of pepperoni. I counted 10 small circles of said pepperoni. Very disappointing. The salad bar. Well the less said about that the better. It was totally tasteless except for the Jalepeno’s. I tried a small sample of everything and it was almost as if the taste had been whisked away. All in all £45 for a small pizza, Mac and cheese, two drinks and a bowl of ice cream is too expensive especially when it wasn’t anything to write home about. I won’t be back ever.

One of the worst pizzas I've ever had form PH. Farmhouse. No tatse. Dry and horrid. Was not impressed as PH was alway my favourite.

This place is completely hostile and devoid of any kind of proper service. Firstly, no one takes your order, you have to order via an app. The app does not let you order certain menu items, only the ‘deals’ so that they make more money. No one offered to help with the ordering and when we asked we were more or less told that was just how it was. Our pizza was rubbish. Lukewarm and with barely any topping. The selection of drinks was poor. They refuse to take a cash payment, so once again, the customer has zero choice. They have the cheek to ask at the end of the payment if you’d like to leave a tip. A tip for what exactly? Definitely not choice or service. There are plenty of good local pizza places. I won’t be visiting Pizza Hut again.

We came here they didn't let us use washroom and told us to buy things then we will let you use the washroom....that doesn't suit to an international chain
