Soggy and little batter on fish, replaced mushy peas with curry sauce, should have asked if replacement was OK, never received pickled egg.

Went in for fish supper right after opening. Got food right away but seems a bunch of stuff was premade before chippy opened. Fish was quite soggy as was the chips. Disappointing as last time I was here it was good.

Food was great, batter on the fish was a little soft but I assume that’s due to it just being in the box while being delivered. Just a little disappointed I paid for 2 bottles of Coke and 2 bottles or irn bru and got 2 cans of irn bru instead which I paid extra for the bottles and didn’t receive any information to say if they just didn’t have any bottles or not

Decided to have a lovely fish supper last night REGRETTED IT DO NOT GO TO DI NIRO`s in Ardler 75 Macalpine Road, Dundee DD3 8RE as the fish didn't have crispy batter it was so soggy and the chips were like left overs I have been suffering from bad painful gas bubble below the left rib cage all morning still in pain

I have been here a number of times. And now decided I'll not go again. On my last visit I had kebab and chips. I should of thought twice as there was no rotating kebab to be seen. I saw a tupperware container of already cut meat come out of a fridge. Disappointing is an obvious description. The seagulls had it the next morning off the grass. Mind it could just be the woman who served us didn't use tongs to take chicken out of the range. Just grabbed and wrapped. Not recommended.

Pure bams asked for red pudding they sent jumbo sausage phoned them tried to tell me a red puddings white

Waited 2 hours for delivery and food wasn't great, chips and fritters were really greasy and batter on everything else was solid. Will order from somewhere else next time

Google search seemed to suggest good food might be found here drove 7 mins from my hotel. Nearly walked out as shop was empty and fry tops were also empty but was encouraged by we will only keep you few mins fresh fish on its way. I live on west coast so don't get white pudding so went for extra on my fish supper. £12 and change not cheep I was further encourage by the 8 more people in at the back of me and the beeping of the delivery machines. So wrong only saving grace fish was pearly translucent the kind only found in nice fresh fish. Thats were the positive ends batter wafer thin but dark brown not crispy it couldn't be it was dripping through with grease, chips poor, cold and to many scrappy bits and the white pudding was cold

An hour and a half to fry a fish and chips and deliver it, why put 35 min delivery time on it

Took ages and not much chips for a supper quite disappointed

We usually visit here once a month for the GF Fish and chips, initially the fish was great but the last couple of months, the texture of the fish that we purchased was dry which is a huge disappointment. Hopefully next month whatever is causing this issue can be solved.

Over 2hrs!!! I placed my order at 6.04 and it didn’t arrive until 8.30! I messaged via app and 30mins added and it changed saying delayed. When that went over by 20mins I called to be told my order was next to go out. It arrived 30mins after that and I live a 5min drive away! My food wasn’t even that hot when it arrived, I have used them for years but it has gotten worse and attitude not great. Will be going elsewhere from now on. Also no partial refund for wait (had to end up cooking for kids).

old woman behind the counter is a moaning old crow. she bullies the staff and acts like she is the ruler of a communist country. chips are decent but the only reason i go is because it’s handy on the way home. avoid.

Fish and chips, not cooked to order, pizza

Food is delicious always very hot and fresh .Great value for money, and you get huge portions. Definately recommended

Couldn’t tell you what the food tasted like. Never got a chance to eat it. We have allergy’s so I ordered a supper and a single pizza. It turned up over and hour and half later with the pizza on the chips, and covered in salt and vinegar. Which wasn’t meant to be on the pizza that was for a child… phoned to be told they will send me a free one tomorrow.. that’s no use when your I’ll and have waited all that time for food I can’t eat, woman didn’t care cause she was due to close! Cheers guys 👏👏

I'm writing my report today 10months after my last visit. We got a sausage supper, steak pie supper and a bag of chips. The sausage was the best part. The chips were very hard and brittle with a lot of small pieces mixed through. The steak pie had a very soggy undercooked base. We will never be back again and we wouldn't recommend this chip to anyone

Gluten free chippy!! The first Monday of the month they offer gluten free options. With GF alternatives I am usually left feeling that I'm comprising in some way but not tonight! Was crispy but not dry, all cooked fresh and prepared in a separate section to avoid cross contamination. The first meal out I've had since being diagnosed celiac that I've truly enjoyed.

I wanted a fish supper, single white pudding and a couple of fritters. They didn't have any fritters! A chippie with no fritters?!? So I asked if I could just have a couple of chips with the white pudding instead - no problem I was told. When I got home I discovered I'd been given (and charged for) a full portion of chips. All bar about ten chips max ended up in the bin. That said, the food was fresh and tasty, staff were polite and friendly

I had ordered my meal, which mainly consisted of chips, at 6:40. Delivery was to be expected between 7:40 and 8:00, which considering it was a Friday night I expected. At 8:05 I called asking where my delivery was and a pleasant lady responded with "the driver is out with it now". 15 minutes passed and it then arrived. On receiving it, it wasn't the best I have had from the shop. Normally the quality cannot be faulted, but this time the fritters felt double fried and overly greasy the chips were stodgy and greasy and it was only lukewarm. Now ordinarily I'd have said something there and then but everyone was so hungry that they ate it anyhow.

This is one place I will never buy from again - awful food. My meal was so soaked in grease, you could have wrung it out. You have been warned... yuck.

A bit too greasy but it's not healthy eating anyway. Modern wrappers don't seem to take away the grease, better with the old school newspaper.

Quality 1st time trying defo be back

Ordered our food at 4pm when the shop opened. Worst fish supper ever, the chips were soggy and cooked in old oil, The fish had the worst soggy batter and was all stuck the the paper, didn’t even come in a fish and chips box. It was like the fish and chips were both cooled in oil that wasn’t heated up properly. We spent £44 here very disappointed will def never go here again back to the victor we go. If you are thinking of ordering a fish supper so not go here.

Ordered at 7.45pm arrived at 9.25pm. Food was cold fish was very dry and one of the fritters wasn't cooked properly. Disappointed

Food arrived on time. The chicken looked like it had been put in the fat a few times. It was a dark coloured batter. It tasted the chicken inside good but I like the batter to be less cooked. Will be back as sometimes cooking goes wrong. A great place for a chicken supper but don’t cook the batter so long or often. Friendly delivery staff.

Just had my first fish supper for years, checked reviews for this place looked good so chanced it,fish had been lying so long the batter had gone extremely chewey,couldnt cut thru it with my knife!!!AND most importantly fish was overdone and very dry!!!!,this at 6pm peak time i expected better,chips were okay but fish suppers are the bread n butter of the chippie and should NOT be sooo disappointing!!!
