Domino's Pizza in Dundee City

Pizzas were fine but it didn't have as good an atmosphere as some other ones. Location is interesting and probably more lively when visited in the summer than in the winter. Staff were friendly and price is average for Dominoes - premium price but good quality food. Nice restaurant.

I was unaware that parking was paid until I received a £100 bill. While driving through Dundee with my daughter, we stopped briefly to get some food. I never imagined places like this would require payment for parking. This is ridiculous – just avoid!

The worst service ever, they aren’t responding to the customers and we need to shout so they pay attention to us!!! It’s not my first experience!!!

Was using delivery service, but now pick up. It's a little cheaper. Friendly, helpful staff. Recently placed an order by telephone, two small pizza's and two tubs of ice cream £41.00? Told ice cream was £20.00 per tub? That means the pizzas cost £1.00. does not make sense to me. 0 stars. Will not be using again. Think customers show check prices first, as not sure if being ripped off. Have used for a while and have noticed prices up and down. Have contacted Dundee trading standards and local press about this. Domino's have put £15 credit on my account. We will not be using again. Ice cream can be purchased at supermarket from £3.00 - £4.50. We didn't go ahead with order.

As I had a big order the assistant, Katie took time to find me the best deal and saved me money which was very welcome! This means I will come back more regularly because I feel that the staff are looking out for the customer win, win! Thank you Katie 🤩

Not at all a good experience. They should hire more people at least. There was only one man in the till and I waited so long but he was taking time to finish another customer's order. In the end, I left the shop. It would be great if there were more counters so people could order quickly.

It's a Domino's, so expect pretty much the same delicious but significantly overpriced and slightly oily pizza at any of them. But this branch is particularly convenient, clean and spacious inside, with helpful, friendly and speedy staff. Hard to fault, but it is still a Domino's.

FAIRLY POOR. Pros: Quick and easy service and delivery, friendly drivers Cons: forget sauces quite a lot, overpriced food, low quality meat, no warning for things disappearing and then returning to the menu such as double decadence coming and going without warning(id like to see little notes beside items if they are out of stock or "coming soon" tags, would be easier)

Outstanding until today For years me and my partner have had nothing short of the best service from City Quay, and when my partner became lactose intolerant they were even better by making amendments when we called such as using the vegan cheese for my partner's ham and pinapple pizza. That was untill today when we called for our regular order, and was met with a woman claiming to be the manager (Didn't catch her name) Adamantly disagreeing with me about "Gluten Intolerance" Then after finaly listening to me state "Lactose" for the 7 or 8th time, said "No we don't do that it's not on the menu" I stated her staff had been exelent in making amendments for my partner and she responded by stating "Well I will have to give them a talk to, because they should not be doing that since it's not on the menu as I have told you" So I would like to thank, and apologise to the excellent staff at Dominoes City Quay for having to be punnished for giving great customer service. And I shall be leaving this 1 star because I have never seen a food place where the manager will actively atempt to make the customer service of an excellent team worse.

Just got charged £100 parking fine for picking up take away Pizza at Domono's Dundee City Quay, no sign I could see, euro car parks scum, the staff could have told me

Waitress was an absolute gem she went above and beyond I wouldn't even expect that service in a Michelin star restaurant unfortunately I didn't get her name (from the drunk guy)

Arrived so prompt in the early hours of the morning (after being on a very long shift was in much need of food), the team member who answered the call was lovely and amicable, while professional, the delivery driver very courteous. Food was so fresh even tho it was 2am, it tasted amazing! Thank you to the team, their service and food they produced are a credit to dominos 🍕

Ordered pizzas to collect, order was ready for collection, tasted very good, staff were cheery, worth trying.

We ordered from Domino's online two weeks ago, and went to collect it. The pizza wasn't ready so we waited, and during that time (about 12 minutes) the cameras in the car park generated a parking ticket, and we received a notice of violation in the post. Despite proving we placed and collected an order, and that we never left our vehicle unattended, we were forced to pay a £65 fine. The car park management company are horrible and wouldn't consider any alternative.

We had one wrong pizza delivered but it was replaced quickly with an entirely new order and some free cookies! Great customer service 👍🏽

Great food with fast delivery times

Fast and delicious just as usual. Staff seemed friendly I called up and ordered and collected at the door. Social distancing was applied very well.

Pizzas are tasty but are never hot, better than warm but never hot. Has the most bizarre policy for collection. Cannot collect after 10pm? I mean, I’m literally doing the delivery for you, I can pay online in advance. Also if you pay with cash inside please ASK FOR A RECEIPT. Twice now I’ve had change stolen from me. I feel pathetic complaining about 5p and 6p so said nothing. They just put the exact amount as the amount given on the receipt so it all adds up to corporate.

Lovely pizzas and fast delivery

Quite honestly this USED to be a good store, now food delivered is well made but extras like dips etc are constantly forgotten and when vouchers are applied for said forgotten items you won't be able to use them as their system is clearly flawed or their staff lie...

Recently ordered from City Quay a plain pizza with extra cheese, it came without any cheese at all and they're is no way to contact to complain as no one will answer the phone.

Food is good but staff not that attentive

What an utter shambles. After a night out in Dundee we want pizza. We are staying at the Apex Hotel literally about 20 steps away from the store. We approached the store and asked one of the delivery drivers if it is possible to order a pizza for delivery but just collect it at the back door to save the driver having to drive around to the hotel. The driver said he would have to speak to a manager who came out a short time later and told us that the pizza would have to be delivered to the hotel. The manager then advised me if I phone just or he would step inside take my order and process the order via my debit card which I gave to him. The manager took my order on the telephone came to the back door and gave me my card back and then had a horrendous attitude and told me that I could not wait at the back door for my pizza I would have to go 100 yards across the road to the hotel and he would send someone over with the pizza. Wow..... Unbelievable..

Poor side choices. Lack of training staff. Disorganised. Being the main Dominos in town they could do much better.

Pizza hardly any cheese on it, undercooked and too doughy, couldn't separate slices without ripping each other apart. Toppings falling off as not cooked. By far the worst dominoes I've had in my life. Staff friendly but don't know how to make a pizza.

Delivery Driver was Top notch, understood when I put on the note to please not be too loud as family were sleeping so 10/10 Delivery quality. Pizza and Garlic Pizza breads were hard, hadn't been cut properly and ripped apart, couldn't be eaten. Offered a £10 coupon put onto my phone number...When i had used a 50% coupon that gets me more of a saving...I won't be ordering from this Dominos again.

It's ok good take-away service.

The Dominos itself is average, but the staff are outstanding. We particularly like Kirsty (who was on last night) and we actually come in to the shop to talk to her because she is so engaging. Fair to say if Kirsty wasn't there we'd be giving the Chinese a little more business. Well done Dominos for recruiting this level of person that is able to deliver that calibre of customer experience

I enjoy a semi decent pizza with two for Tuesdays or buy one get one free from collect what more can you ask for they also have a wide variety of deals but phoning them is definitely the way to go for a decent deal

cheeseburger pizza is amazing but i’ve had it so much that i’m sick of it now! Bbq chicken pizza is amazing. Food is expensive but get a deal and your sorted! May i add, i’m heartbroken that they don’t sell the brownies anymore! They were warm and gooey and could heal you after a breakup! Miss you! forever in my heart

It's a pizza franchise and a decent one at that there are better pizza places in Dundee they tend to be a little dearer but dominos is good for the price point.

FML and FML, multiple times please. Disgusting pizzas, disgusting customer service, the driver doesn't even say a hi, quality control on my .... Pizza is very oily and thy add salt on it. Drinks are warm as hell, I bet they keep it in the oven. Waste of money and waste of time. I gave them far too many changes and Ive decided they are the most incompetent service I ever encountered in Dundee or they just do it in purpose, which is actually daft. I hope they get shut.

They are definitely cutting back on the toppings. Not as good as it used to be. Maybe its because its an Itison deal and staff have been told to cut back.

I'm not very happy my boyfriend paid 18 pound for a delivery from domonios but when the food arrived and we opend the pizza to find it was the wrong pizza with just cheese on it I phoned the company and was first told i have to pay extra 6 pound which I refused then they passed me to the manger and he said it would be an extra 2.60 which I was happy to pay due to the fact dominos are normally really good.so a second pizza arrived and yet it was the wrong size toatly disappointed and disgraced cos they are not cheap place so you expect to get your correct order or it to be sorted out correctly which obviously the must not have even checked what I actually order from them.

Reasonably priced for the food you get. Plenty of choice for pizza toppings/sides/puddings. Always delivered within a timely manner. Staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions/queries about the food. Domino's is always my number one choice when it comes to the takeaway choice at the end of the month :)

Funny reception. Most deals over the phone a not available in shop. Make a phone order, you get more value for your money.Walking into the shop is a trap. They will bleed you for more money than initially planned. Keep out!

Always delivered hot, never burnt, tastes amazing, love the garlic herb sauce and never skimped on topping. Sometimes they wouldn't always deliver the juice/sides we ordered but after calling them, they have it to us in less then 10mins.

Speedy service, whether collecting or receiving via home delivery. The pizza itself is excellent too, and very consistent in quality. A little on the pricey side, but it's worth it for food this good.

The chicken madras here was amazing, would definitely recommend!

Dundee dominos delivery option- We ordered this pizza at around 12am on 15/7/17. The pizza was the best thing we have both ever tasted. We have encountered this standard with dominos dundee on few occasions and it completely surpasses anything we've had before (pizza wise). Both me and my partner think that this is down to one chef in particular who may have the edge. We would like the praise to go his/her way for this. Generally we receive a good quality, nice tasting pizza. This is definitely another level and we would ask that praise is passed on. Thank you 😽😍🍕🍕🍕

Cold pizza, sarcastic staff. Call to say pizza is cold because driver put cold juice on top of hot pizza! Not rocket science to figure out result! Complained but got hung up on,complained again and sounded like guy did not care! Laughing in background when he repeated what I said! Furious with your customer service!! Never again!

Just tried Domino's Cinni Dippers and they are lovely, they come hot and they taste so fresh. Plus with their 5 new Italian pizzas and added deserts they have so much more variety to offer. Very prompt and lovely staff.

You can get a great pizza here but you can also get one nit so great usually do to them not being handed over to customer immediately out of oven. The staff seem to allow your pizza to sit for a while without services ingredients. The screen they have showing customer pizza cooking etc. They should add pizza ready and how many minutes until it is handed to customer

Never actually been in a dominos to order pizza, so was mesmerised watching these guys at work, it was next to hotel so wandered over instead of ordering online. Great pizza was the end result of course.

Well I must say that I am a great fan of domino´s in Spain, but in my opinion the spanish domino´s is better that these ones! they are not bad, but I was slighlty dissapointed the first time :(

The garlic bread was the best I've ever tasted, the garlic butter was just dripping off the garlic bread. The BBQ chicken pizza was astounding, the taste, oooooh, fantastic. Highly recommend this cuisine especially here. Well done dominoes, best I've ever tasted. Would DEFO return here.

Consistent Pizza that has always been quickly delivered without any issue having ordered in the app, website and over the phone. Not my favourite pizza but good deals and handy when having a party. Only thing this is that although I'm no longer in Dundee and have opted out, I still get messages to my phone telling me that dominos Dundee city quay is open till 5am which is mildly amusing.

Got a delivery to the Premier Inn where I was staying. Very happy, the delivery was on time. Great hot pizza and sides.

I have used Dominos regularly for many years now and I cannot fault their service or their food, whether it's home delivery or ordered at their premises.

Their pizzas after good, for a chain pizza place. Some dominos locations are a bit variable, but I assure you that this is the good end of the scale. The local pizza hut doesn't stand up to them... However the local "project pie" still does the best pizza. And they've also recently started to do delivery. Dominos also tend to be very overpriced.

Visited on a Tuesday and got the deal of two pizzas for £17. Window which allowed you to see the pizzas being made, nice touch. Not a great amount of 'sitting in' space, however the space there is has a good view of the docks. Very good place to eat, would recommend.
