Subway in Dundee City

My Wife went in for a meal on Tuesday 23rd April 2024. I went in later to join her on entering I sat down for a while as I am disabled. While wondering what I was going to have, a person was smoking in front of the open doorway resulting in the smoke entering the premises. I asked the person to move away. They instead declined and continued smoking and saying the door could be closed. I asked a member of staff if this person was an employee and they said they were. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they were the assistant manager. I then said this is not acceptable to allow an employee to smoke at an open doorway. They then informed me that it was the manager smoking at an open doorway. I was also told I had no right to sit there as I had not bought anything. That's fair enough if that was my intention. But I had intended to buy something after sitting for a short while. Due to my disability I cannot just get out of my mobility scooter and immediately join a queue. However due to the interaction between a number of unpleasant and rude staff, I decided to leave and forget about any meal or drink. Due to this issue I will not be back at this outlet. I also have an issue with a blatant disregard of Scottish anti smoking laws, which clearly states smoking at the entrance of a building is not allowed. In the case of the infringement, the manager was actually standing of the street and at the threshold of the premises.

I visited the broughty ferry subway on 11th of April and I was politely greated by conner and keegan hope I'm spelling him name right. They were happy and very friendly. Helpfully and humanly. Very warm and the atmosphere was such a brilliant vibe. Absolutely chuffed with my trip there tonight. Often its nothing to write home about staff are fine but nothing like today. These boys deserve to be appreciated in the business so hopefully management will see this and thank the boys for being excellent employees!

2nd time I have used the delivery service. 2nd time I did not get all items I ordered, but charged for all of the items. I phoned the shop this time, nothing to do with them apparently and nothing they can do. Would not deliver the remaining items or do anything. Last time I will be using this shop. No service should charge and not take accountability for that service. Not happy.

Stuck in the house with covid so decided to SPOIL myself and my son with a delicious freshly made subway sarnie. I was in the mood for fast food but with a healthy and delicious twist and BOY WAS I NOT DISSAPOINTED. It was fast, healthy and did indeed have a delicious twist. I got a 6 inch with all the salads and a honey mustard sauce for some 💫 spice💫. My son got white bread with cheese because he’s a boring baby. Still a legend though. Anyway I give this place 5 stars. Would recommend. EDIT although my son found the boring baby comment humorous, he states he infact got sweetcorn as well. I will look forward to seeing that in the bog tomorrow.

My husband and I were just in buying lunch . Served by a foreign girl . Ordered lunch , she was dropping meat into salad and cheese , contaminating it all , she was wearing gloves . She went to the till to take my money with same gloves on , gave me my change with same gloves on , then proceeded to give me my lunch with same gloves on , I tackled her about it , and she removed her gloves and put new ones on . She then went to make my cuppies and removed her gloves completely, no sanitising of hands in sight . She threw my lunch on the table witnessed by my disgusted husband . I am sorry to say we won't be back . I did phone the shop , got some girl pretending to be the manager . This place should be avoided, . Think someone should tell them we have a pandemic on our hands here .

Qué puedo decir. . . Mi ahijado Harold y yo visitamos este metro una noche después de un agradable domingo en la bolera. Hemos estado en muchos subterráneos y nos consideramos los entendidos. Al entrar nos encontramos con ninguno de los olores agradables habituales de muchos otros restaurantes del metro. Pedimos nuestro metro habitual, de un pie de largo y uno de 6 ”, con pollo y aceitunas tostadas sin queso. Nos decepcionó amargamente cuando nos informaron debidamente de que no había pan en el exterior. En su lugar, ofreció envolturas de tortilla para saciar nuestra hambre insaciable. Estuvimos de acuerdo y recibimos nuestros sándwiches. DESPUÉS de un tiempo de cocción muy largo y arduo. En general, 2. 2/10 - según los estándares de clasificación de Harold y yo.

I have never had the inclination to visit a subway, but the poster on the window said from 99p, and showed some pictures of food. OK I said, for that price I'll give it a go. I had nacho's and a mini wrap. 1.98p for that I don't mind paying it to try it out. NOT! 3.48p, not a good start. The young guy and girl were only doing what they were trained to do so I don't blame them. The wrap had hardly any filling which meant a lack of taste. The nacho's, they were cooked in a microwave. When I started to eat them all I was getting was mush. Right in the bin... Never again :(

Subway is what it is - healthy food like chicken, turkey and salad in various formats (rolls of varying length and bread types, wraps, salad bowls etc.) and all at a reasonable price. There’s never much difference between the branches wherever you go, to be honest. However, I’m a fan of this one as it’s convenient and never that busy. Also, there has been a really noticeable improvement in the levels of service here over the last couple of years - the staff are always friendly, efficient and professional, whereas my previous experiences used to be a bit of a mixed bag. I would never go here if I was ravenous but it’s great if you’re a little peckish and feeling virtuous (as opposed to getting a sneaky bag of chips at Khan’s in the Ferry...) !

Aparecí en Subway en el centro comercial Happyhillock de camino al trabajo, justo antes de las 7:30 am, entré (la puerta estaba abierta) y el letrero decía que a las 7:00 a.m. se estaba abriendo, me recibió un miembro del personal muy confundido. quien claramente había entrado, ¡ella me dijo que aún no estaban abiertos! ! Señalé que el letrero decía que a las 7:00 a.m. y simplemente me dijeron "sí, las señales están mal, ¡abrimos a las 8: 00"! ! Oh bien. . . . Voy a ir a otro lugar entonces

Typically fresh and tasty sandwich. Fresh bread and wide choice of salad. Busy at lunch time, but worth the wait.

Went in one time for a quick lunch. Dirty place, over priced for draft juice and food was sloppy and did not taste fresh. First and last subway.

Went in to Subway in Broughty Ferry today for lunch and it was great. The lads were fantastic...nothing was too much trouble...and the food was lovely. Well done guys!

I went there some years ago and I didn't like it at all, but I gave them another chance, and well the second time was much better. Good food for good value.

Buen almuerzo y excelente servicio al cliente. Tenía mis hierbas y queso italianos habituales con pavo y queso cheddar y el servicio de atención al cliente no podría ser más acogedor. Realmente disfruté de mi metro frío para un cambio agradable en lugar de tenerlo tostado y fue realmente delicioso.

To be honest, not my idea of lunch, but...but...i was pleasantly surprised! Yes, I was. Popped in and purchased 2 baguettes: a tuna with all the salad, and a cheese also with all the salad, and to be fair, they were not only tasty, but good quality AND no skimping on the salad. The salad was also pretty fresh. So overall, try it & be surprised.

Took my grandson because he loves Subway. Service was fast even though it was fairly busy. Staff helpful. We don't live in the area so they were happy to answer out questions.

I visited the subway in happy hillock and it was perfect to get into, plenty parking spaces available for use so i had no problem in finding a space. Employees were lovely and the food was great.

Estábamos en medio de un trayecto por el este de Escocia y encontramos este Subway que nos salvó de morir de hambre! La comida allí es como la de cualquier otro Subway. El local es amplio y la atención del personal es muy amable. Nos recibió una brasilera encantadora que nos hizo más fácil el pedido.

We were in a hurry and found the subway sandwich place on Kingsway Dundee next to the garage. Although it's a wee bit tricky to get into, it was worth it. The place was clean and fresh and the salad I got was pretty awesome...
