Clark's 24 Hour Bakery in Dundee City

Travelled a long way for this bakery. It was worth it. I felt a bit overwhelmed at first with the amount of choices. The food we ordered was great, there's an option to heat up everything. My favourite item I tried was the guy buster.l, it's a burger. Also the kebab pie was amazing. Definitely worth the hype and the staff are great too.

Good quality products, but noticeably more expensive than anywhere else and the queueing system is ridiculous. Even if you simply came for a donut, you need to wait for 5 people before you get their subs freshly made. On top of that comes pizza adversising at all times even though you can't get one for lunch!

I’d seen online this was a 24hour bakery with more than just bakery items! I was passing through Dundee and made a detour to visit, the selection they had was huge! You queue up but no real structure to be able to see all option, as you have to then backtrack to order. Bought a few items to try, as I’m not local: macaroni pie, scotch pie, steak & gravy pie, bolognaise pie, chicken tikka pie & a couple of cupcakes (chocolate & toffee). Best item was the steak & gravy pie, the toffee cupcake was good as well. Everything else unfortunately was average to my taste. Lots of items to choose from, maybe my selection was my downfall & other items are bigger sellers.

First visit today and I wasn't disappointed Nice clean shop with a warm welcome You're also spoiled for choice so I bought extra pies to take home Well worth a visit if your feeling a bit peckish.... I'll be back !!

Been here a few times and their quality and choice is second to none! I had the chips,cheese and pulled pork which comes with amazing coleslaw, the picture is the small portion, the large looks amazing! The pies are fantastic too and such a great range. Dont miss this place if you are anywhere near

Great selection of hot and cold food you'd expect from a bakery, but also pizza and other hot food like baguettes and sandwiches. The doughnuts were really tasty and they have a big selection, even Simpson's doughnuts. The rolls were super fresh and soft, best I've had

Amazing selection of hot and cold rolls, pastries such as steak and black pudding pie, cheese and vegetable pie, Bridie's, Bolognese pies, paninis, hot pizza, salad bar, cream cakes, donuts. There is a huge kitchen in the back where you can see them making fresh items constantly. It's also open 24 hours a day so always accessible

The food here is top-notch. Service very good. It's just one of the best places for pies.

Love the food choices here. Pizzas are massive, and wraps are tasty. Salad choice is amazing too and at decent prices too.

Doors are broken, cheap plastic. Card readers are touchscreen which makes it harder for blind/partially blind folks. Waiting area is grossly small I feel offended that customers have to pack like sardines waiting for their order. Service is great however and menu has great variety.

Absolutely fantastic pizzas, pies are fab and also the cakes.

We came from aberdeen as it popped up on my Facebook, and honestly it wasn't a disappointment. There is so much to choose from and the portions are plentiful. The staff are extremely friendly, my husband is vision impaired and they couldn't have helped him more if they tried. It was extremely busy but the people waiting in or out weren't too bothered by it. Its easy to find and park or there's street parking just off. We got 9 cakes, 2 pies, mac n cheese, lasagne, a sandwich bagel, egg mayo sandwich and a chicken wrap. They were all still fresh when we got home. We also got a dog bluff ( i think it's called) hot dog wrapped in a bun it was so lovely and filling. We will definitely be going back.

Best bakery in Scotland they do everything

Disappointing. Clarks operate a 24hr bakery so before I left Dundee I promised myself a slab of Dundee cake on Monday morning. Went in around 12 noon to be told"we don't have any". "What" I said to myself. No Dundee cake in Dundee,shocked

First time getting food from this bakery and wow it did not disappoint 🤤 the burger and chips meal deal I got was amazing I just wish I lived closer to Dundee as this would definitely be my go to place will definitely be going again next time I'm there highly recommend Clarks bakery plenty of choice and food is amazing staff are lovely too.

Ordered quarter pounder with cheese ,price £4.50, When I got it I was surprised how small it was ,no way that was a quarter pounder,and for that price,I was robbed .. Didn't enjoy it either.. Next time....oh wait there won't be a next time

Hace meses que no le compro nada a Clarks, debido a mi último 'episodio' que fue un pastel quemado - pero mi esposo fue allí hoy y regresó a casa con paninis y pastel. Pastel quemado. Nunca volveré. ¿Cómo puede una panadería quemar pasteles y luego venderlos? ¿Otra vez? Horrible.

On a mission to get Dundee Cake from a local supplier, while working nearby to take back to London. They make it and sell it locally was worth the trip to get the cake well tasty 😋. Till the next visit to Scotland

Popped in at lunchtime and it was extremely busy with lots of carry out customers. The variety of take away meals is huge and everything looked very appealing and appetising. I had a gorgeous spicy chicken wrap that was extremely tasty and very filling. This place has a great reputation in the area and it's no surprise that they are opening branches further afield. We'll worth a visit!

Used to have the best chunky chips+cheese+beans when I first visited in 2018, became a regular customer, but over the years the quality of their chips has declined (now more like fries) while the price has nearly doubled. Other items available are still reasonably good, but now I get my chips elsewhere and visit Clark's only very rarely. The staff also seem to be changing quite regularly and the atmosphere isn't the same as it used to be.

Always had good food from Clarks Bakery but today was the first time visiting this one and wow. Great choice, friendly helpful staff, and food was great. We had pizza slice and doughnut each 😋😋 Update - Now frequented this bakery a lot and it's great. Food and service are always good and as it's open 24hrs never have to worry about it being closed.

Was a regular place I'd visit until they halved the portions and put the price up. Now it's just overated an overpriced. Never have the same staff when you go either so I'm guessing they don't get paid enough for what they do..

Ive been going to Clarks Bakery for over 20 years, but i most definitly wont be going back, and i'll tell everyone that i know not to go back either. If someone is preparing or serving food, then surely the server should put on fresh/new gloves for every order? Clearly new gloves for every customer isnt important for Clarks? Why would i want to buy food from here and eat it when the gloves and hands (not every server/employee even bother to put them on) of the server have been touching anything other than the food that ive bought and want to eat??....steer clear of here, clearly hygiene means nothing to Clark's? .....if it did, then the owners would make sure that every customer gets their food prepared from someone wearing fresh gloves. I thought that was standard procedure?. No, not at Clarks, i wont be back, and i'll make sure that anyone i know wont be back either. Its an absolute disgrace.

Just paid 7 pound for a panini . 2£ surcharge for a spoon of sweet corn and a spoon of lettuce. Extortionate

Came in today ordered mac and cheese and chips .was asked if i wanted small or large .asked for large . Got home .5 min later as had my car .ended up heating it up in microwave as cold .chips were soggy and not a lot for large portion .only thing good was the pastry was so looking forward to it .quite dissapointed .

Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and the pies, pizza and cakes were all delicious. Well worth the long journey and great to see a business like this thriving.

24 hour bakery! Do I need to say any more ? Large range of cakes, sandwiches, pastries and hot food available. I got two doughnuts, two cakes and a Mac and cheese pie for under £14. Very good value for money.

Food was great… However, red haired boy on till with piercings was super rude and uninterested. Forgot my food this evening plus have had multiple issues with him in previous. Always very arrogant and uncaring about customer service. Would not return to 24hr when he’s on shift.

Dinner kebab pies are the best I have tried by far, my friends from ayr work in Dundee and told me about them so as a truck driver passing Dundee a lot I stock up on these to take home and my friends from ayr love them too, also sneaked in a vanilla slice which was massive and delicious 😀 The staff were friendly and the place was really busy Well worth the visit

Chips cheese & curry sauce, curry sauce was only warm not hot, won’t be rushing back

Have always been a fan of this bakery for many years but recently since it changed hands there's usually an issue. A month ago they were bamboozled by the logistics of stacking 16 donuts together to look like a cake and fussed about having to charge for a cake board. Then the Last x2 visits our food has been cold or excessively piping hot. Tonight, we asked for x2 pies and a portion of chips ... we were bo longer away from the hot food order til and the girl was handing us chips and said pur pies will be a few mins. .. the chips weren't hot so we asked for fresh ... the guy took then away shook the box and then returned the exact same chips 🙈 couldn't make it up 🤣

The staff in here are brain dead… they don’t know what they are handing you and don’t even know how to follow a written ticket Chips, cheese, coleslaw..: 3 ingredients and uou missed the cheese… just got home after wanting to treat myself. Honestly I give up with how many times staff get it wrong in here

Always great service and food quality is great. Although Wife has just eating her apple turnover and thinks they forgot the apples in only one small slice of apple.

Some girl staff are very NOT professional. A lady customer is in a rush but she should wait until the people in front of her finish the order. One guy before me is hesitated. The staff should serve the people behind him first, however, she jumped in and the waitress served her first. And the time to let us wait is so long. I don't know what the waitress and the lady customer were thinking. Is the rule to wait in queue and served one by one is just on the paper. Shame on them. They should be regarded as Dundee people. I don't like Clark's bakery any longer. Will never be there. If someone is not ready to be a server and doesn't know how to deal with service work. Please leave on your own. Don't let your restaurant's reputation collapse because of you.

Excellent food,service cancelled be a bit poor. Nothing to do with food or service, but...... On the wall the have a saying and a pictures....saying is..'be kind to the server or else, with a picture of a knife. Safe to say I won't be back in a shop that promotes knive violence.

Awful. Used to love coming here. Struggled to make a filled roll with salad (didn’t get what I asked for). Coffee like hot water. Hurried out the door had to ask multiple times for more items. 9 quid for a roll pastry and coffee! Won’t be coming back what happened

Price to quality ratio is very favourable selection is abundant and whether your looking for a quick bite on the go or a meal to take home and cook you can't go wrong, the customer area does feel a little cramped but not in any problematic sense

I have to use Clarks on a regular basis,on delivery with Easy Shopper.I have never had a bad experience and the staff, if you have to phone up to amend an order, nothing is too much bother for them and they are friendly and courteous. Their mince is brilliant , as are the ready meals and soup. They are all made fresh every day, and they are so popular they can sell out. The updating of their online site is immediate, and if you do order something that has subsequently run out, they always phone with a replacement suggestion.

I got the Helicopter burger (I’m not man enough to take on the Chinook) and loved every bit of it. I’ve been a few times before and tried various other bits and pieces, including the chicken and kebab pie which was magic. Would 100% recommend this place, can’t beat it if you’re in Dundee.

Been going here 23 years fantastic place for something to eat there's something for everyone. Puts perth to shame for food as there's no place like this in PERTH 🙄
