Very nice coffee, good friendly staff.

Friendly staff and good selection of snacks/pastries. Although busy quick service. It's worth a visit. Good place to visit for a quick snack/coffee. Also, speciality blend coffee is always on offer. Helpful staff

This is my go to coffee shop. Great coffee blend. Knowledgeable baristas and lots of comfortable seating areas with plug points!

Staff very friendly. Member brought my coffee over as I have 2 elbow crutches. Thank you for that.

I regularly visit Cafe Nero Dundee and it's my favourite place for coffee etc. Staff are friendly and there's a happy, relaxed feeling about the place and there's plenty of room and if you're a dog lover, you are welcome. I've travelled widely in the past and done lots of cafe-ing and this is my favourite cafe.

This customer service isn't really that good, they give you the side eye most of the time when u take too long to order, then the drink always contains too much foam and the prices are a rip off in my opinion. Overall it was ok, not somewhere I'll choose to go again

Went in for a flat white, member of staff that served me this morning - His manners were terrible!! (Short dark hair & glasses) An absolute disgrace!! Really had to bite my tongue!! 🤬🤬 Happens quite a lot in this Cafe!! 🖕🏻

We both went Caffè nero 4 coffee & carrot cake and Pepsi the best in town it was fantastic my partner is on crutches the staff helped my partner over with his order the staff is very friendly we will be back next time we r in town

This is a charming coffee shop. I especially like their raspberry croissant and their pistachio latte. The flavour reminded me of visiting my mother’s family in Sicilia when I was a girl. Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories.

Coffee wasn't very strong and place is a little tired.

I had had a bad day and was tired and grumpy when I went in, but the good-natured and cheerful service, an excellent cup of coffee and the best chocolate muffin I've ever had, soon put the world to rights!

Have a love hate relationship with this place. I sometimes come in and it's an amazing experience but other times it's not so good... I once was sat in an hour or so before closing, had a lovely hot drink with some company. Around 30 mins before closing one of the workers starts to clear some empty tables and I don't really think much of it as I knew there was still plenty time before they shut as they were still serving customers at the counter too. He then starts to sigh and look at us (and other tables) in annoyance as if we were keeping him past closing even though as stated... it was a good half hour before closing anyway. He started to sweep the floor RIGHT next to us and we felt we had to rush to drink the rest of our drinks and leave. As we were leaving I saw him give us and a few other customers a dirty look. If he needed to clear tables earlier that is fine but being passive aggressive about it is just immature, I would have been very open to being told he needed to clean rather than deal with a grown man huffing and puffing at us. I know what it's like to be kept behind after-hours in work so I would never purposely stay any longer or make a workers job harder especially as it got closer to closing time, but as we were there way ahead of time I feel it was very unfair to be treated like that.

Fantastic coffee and friendly staff! Actually my favourite coffee shop of all the ones I visit- nice to sit in and convenient for take away for the train! App is fantastic, brilliant loyalty scheme.

LOVE. So happy i found a caffè nero in Dundee - have been craving their iced coffee since cyprus. very friendly staff and they sell the syrup they use for iced coffees which was a really nice surprise. Great vegan options, they also have a vegan cream!

Smart roomy branch with freindly staff.

One of the rare places that serves proper espresso! The roast is just right that even in a cold latte the aroma doesn't dilute too much. Cozy spot with a nice lighting. Takes cash. Friendly staff too.

Standing in line & a worker came in with milk jugs in left hand and swinging blue plastic mask in right hand. He went behind counter & threw the mask on top of the metal milk jugs in the corner. He served me without a mask - i ordered tea after seeing where his mask landed! He also walked through cafe to the rear of building with no mask on.

Me and my wife, we taken a break at Caffe Nero for some coffees. We saw the very good service, and we appreciated the very good coffees.

Called in when passing for a drink and a cake. Good service and quality cakes. Quite a selection of cafes along here.

Set in a busy shopping street in the Murrygate, this coffee shop has a lot of competition but as far as I am concerned it is as good as Starbucks, Costas or any others.

Nice to have a tea with friends. Friendly staff. Bit slow to get served. Generally clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere.

Called in here today for tea, soft drinks and a cake. Good swift pleasant service and nice seating on Murraygate. Quite busy and served quickly. Will certainly call in again when in Dundee.

I was given a Caffè Nero gift card so I have treated myself to cappuccino with scone, jam, and cream at 3 locations this week. Stirling, Edinburgh, and Dundee. They were all good but Dundee definitely won: They were the only one to give me butter too; and they were the only one to offer me a choice of jam (strawberry or raspberry)!

Nipped in for refreshment ,Fast and friendly service ,usual good quality coffee and tray bakes and cakes . Clean tables and busy midmorning . We noticed tables were cleared right away and wiped down .

Best coffee in Dundee, albeit a bit slow in coming. Terrible stale scones but some other bakery products are fine enough. Mostly sweet stuff, not much savoury. However the downfall has to be the cleanliness. The place is always filthy, especially the sofas. The other chairs and tables not much better. The toilet especially is filthy, floor hasn't been washed in years by the look of it. Pricy

Like all Caffè Nero that I have visited, this one serves freshly made drinks and lovely cakes and pastries.

Coffee is always good, staff were a bit on the slow side, having a chat with friends and not making eye contact with others in the queue, thus the reason for 4 stars

Cafe Nero do good coffee however this store feels just and often shambolic. With so many independent coffee shops it's weird that people still prefer the high street chains but as they go cafe Nero has good strong coffee and pleasant staff.

I highly recommend you visit Café Nero and experience what it has to offer from: friendly and helpful staff, great coffee and other beverages, good quality and yummy food, good atmosphere and ambiance, good décor, and comfy chairs and sofas. The price for food and beverages are worth paying and along with this you can get a loyalty card which is handy, especially if you become a frequent customer.

Enjoying some free time from our cruise ship in Dundee. Overcast and cold and needed warming. Decided early morning coffee would help and ventured into this café. As soon as we were inside the door, we could feel the warmth. Ordered largest size cappuccinos as an excuse to stay inside a little longer. Lovely friendly staff and very helpful. Great coffee almost prompted us to re-order but visiting Dundee we decided that we had to see some of the sights. Staff very helpful in giving directions to nearby attractions. A café with great atmosphere, great staff and great coffees.

Coffee is excellent and cafe looks on HIgh Street so you can people watch. Food is good quality and staff very friendly and helpful.

Right in the heart of Dundee. This small establishment has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with lots of very comfortable seating. Suitable for solo, couple or groups. Coffee was the best I have had in town and it has a good selection of food. Service was prompt and polite. Would highly recommend you use this establishment rather than one of the bigger chains.

Popped in for a large latte and the three staff were well organised and kept the line of customers moving. The coffee was very good. Would recommend.

This is always the place I go if in town and needing a coffee. Staff are always great and helpful as well. Ambience is good and cafe situated in heart of town

Another chain coffee store with the ususal offerings and pricing which is expensive for what you get. I found the staff attentive but slow. No sense of urgency when busy. A distinctly average if expensive coffee and bite eat. It's on a fairly grotty street and the store doesn't look inviting.

Hot Chocolate yum! Staff friendly and place clean Toilets clean and baby change area. Private place for feeding if needed. No horrible music so you can chat!

Nero does the best coffee in Dundee, all the other coffee shops drinks are bitter, burn the coffee... also the choice on cakes and pastries is very good.It is evenly priced with all the other outlets and it has a good atmosphere, music is never too loud, it has sofas so you can get a comfy seat...Staff is very quick to serve, they are good baristas.My only problem is that they never catch up clearing tables, dirty glasses and mugs just pile up in the tables and sometimes when you seat you just move the dirty dishes from the people before you... not very nice :(Overall is a great place

It may seem an odd statement a chain coffee shop being home from home. The staff are so welcoming and always have a smile and do all they can to go the extra mile. The coffee shop is always very well presented(Unfortunately not like their counterpart in brought ferry who's staff I find are not so welcoming and the presentation of their shop is shabby)That is not to take the shine of the best café Nero(I travel widely with my job and have not found better)I have been to with great staff and the produce always fresh.

This place has the friendliest of staff. Great coffee too. Can't fault it really but sometimes the toilet could be cleaner

I visited every week with my 5 year old son who loved the hot chocolate. The staff are always very friendly and work very hard. Fab wee cafe!

I have only been in here for a hot chocolate, but it was one of the best hot chocolate I have ever had.
