Punjab Tandoori in Dundee City

First time ordering. The curry calzobe is absolutely amazing as was my partners chilli donner. Definitely our new takeaway!

I always get this late at night when I am munchied... wether that’s helping my muffin top that’s another story... the fish is actual amazing fried kids fish and Chips n it was soooo good, and the lamb tikka is my fave can’t believe some places have gave me beef instead thinking we’re aw dumb? Amazing food and quick delivery, be back in a couple of nights

Tandoori chicken is amazing and you can order really late at night! Always really fresh and my favourite is lamb tikka it’s sooooo amazing with the chilli sauce. Chicken tikka masala pizza is also next level ❤️❤️ Always consistent!! And only £2 delivery fee on Just eat! Always quick delivery troops x

I never write reviews but tonight the Punjab deserves one ,The meal was incomplete they said they tried to call twice but my phone didnt ring ,,I was overcharged ,,,The Chicken pakoras were cold and the batter was soggy ,,and the rice was only half cooked ,,the nan bread was like rubber normally i have had no complaints with this place but by tonights standards i will not be using them again

Visited here after looking at the reviews and, also, we were in the area anyways. It was quite good but have had better for the price. Meal was lacking in meat with more sauce than needed. Lamb was a tad on the tough side as well. Peshwari nan was the sickly, tasteless red paste which you get from some takeaways too, not the authentic proper coconut you usually get. Don’t think we’ll be back.

I’m afraid I had to return a chicken garde ( which was awful) ..I went in guns ablazing but was confronted by the owner who was the most delightful man ..straight away he apologised and explained he normally does the cooking but because of a accident he left early and left his junior who he was training up ( first time ) in charge which he now regrets ..I was given another meal made especially by him ..there was no comparison ( and it tasted delicious) not only that I was also given the rest of my order free of charge which included .. rice Nan bread and chicken pakora ..I was delighted to have my meal replaced and insisted that I have my money back ..£15.90 ! ..how’s that for service ...I would definitely go back ...anyone can make mistakes but it’s not everyone that rectifies it

Ordered a vegetable biryani, garlic naan and tarka Dal. Received within an hour which was ok and the only ok thing about it. Delivery guy handed me my food and that was it, no friendly customer service or anything. Had to stop him to give my tip. Opened up curries, my vegetable biryani sauce had writing in pen on both sides of the lid meaning marker pen or whatever it was had smeared in to my curry. Tarka dal was all salt with no flavour, and my curry was the worst I've ever had. The vegetables were clearly those cheap frozen vegetable bags you get from farmfoods or Iceland, the sort of crappy veg that my dogs wouldn't even get fed. Garlic naan didn't taste garlicky either. Photo speaks for itself, received better curries from my secondary school canteen. First time here and won't be back.

The chicken tikka pizza was the absolute star of the show! It was so so so good, I am not kidding here but I woke up early this morning and actually got excited like it was Christmas because I knew I had left over pizza in the kitchen. I've just ate it now and i am actually sad to the point of nearly crying because it's finished. I am in love! 😍

I stay very close to Punjab tandoori I have tried several thing on the menu and have been very impressed recently tried there curries and was blown away plenty with the portion that you receive and very tasty would definitely recommend to other well worth the money that they charge

After hearing great reviews from friends we were excited to try here. First of all we were missing our onion chutney. I had the lamb madras, it was very mild and pretty bland. My husband had the Mexican kebab again It lacked spice, flavour and jalapeños as promised. My daughter seemed to enjoy her pizza and chips but prob won't go back as there are plenty other take aways closer to home.

Best curry I have had in a long time! Had the meal for 2 on delivery and was so much food for the price. Would definitely order again.

Many places now do the Kebab and all have their own way of doing it at Punjab they look into just what makes a nice meat, others trying to cash in from their normal out of date fish & chips think something from a freezer may trick US real fans, it won't. Recent events have led me to attempt to try and find Dundee's best Kebab well I have decided that there is no answer to this as a Kebab I personally rate Very high the very next customer may hate the sauce. People who live in Dundee know all about the Kebab but you don't see it on many Good Food Guides, I fail to see why not as it for me it is a major part of any City in the UK. So when you come visit our BEAUTIFUL City, instead of going for that well-known burger or the one where you need to sell a Kidney have a wander around the City Centre and surrounding schemes, you shall soon find the pleasure of the MIGHTY KEBAB and if you haven't tried one, then you must. So Visitors to Dundee give this a try, I am sure if you pop the address into sat nav or jump on a 26 Bus at The High School next to the Mc Manus Galleries the driver will be helpful and tell you your stop for Punjab Tandoori and maybe if you mention you saw them on Trip Advisor you may even get a nice bonus. I should add that my meal above as you can see came with delivery and still under £15.00, You can't eat for that anywhere with a set table and what I got easily feeds two, I just like my food. So whatever Country you are visiting from jump in your car or on a bus and pop into Punjab and experience something that goes home with you.
