3 hrs late despite saying on just eat that it was delivered, called to be told it was on its way. 40 minutes late when I called they asked what my complaint was. The food was then delivered stone cold and not fit to be eaten.

The worst food takeaway I've ever had. Can't begin to describe how bad it really was. Sitting here an hour later and fell ill. Do yourself a favour and eat that dodgy leftover from your fridge instead. Feel like the packaging would have been tastier and do you less harm.

Absolutely shocking service. Happy to take my son's order the phone up for another £2.50 then cancelled the order and kept a £2.50 service fee. Don't go near the Punjab Tandoori.

Ordered our food and it came quickly. However, we ordered a portion of chicken korma and when it came it was like cheese sauce! we phoned and complained and the next one that got sent out was totally different and was korma sauce. very confusing!😬

The cleanest , tastiest munchy box I've had ever.... with loads in it too ( 10" ) Reasonably priced and pleasant chap delivered it Brilliant 👏 👏 👏

Used to be good but not as much now think there’s a new owner or chef just had meat box but it was full of chips little mini size bits of meat was pretty dry too was pretty disappointed tbh especially as I’m a regular

Was given wrong order on collection (my boyfriend should have checked it but he didnt) noticed when he got home with the food. Had to take it back and pick up the right order said he ‘took the wrong one’ no you handed him the wrong one - just apologise instead of making out it wasn’t your fault! Personally feel they should have sent it for delivery as it was their mistake but no my partner had to make another trip. Won’t be ordering again shocking customer service They took the food back off him aswell so who knows if they then gave it to whoever had originally ordered it!

This place used to be really good, I couldn’t even finish a single slice of pizza ! Apart from a couple of bites the whole 12” pizza went in the bin 😡 Won’t be back !!

I have waited over an hour. Staff lie when you call to ask what the delay is" it's on it way" I live 3mins away from establishment but still I wait a further 30mins. I call again and am lied to again" Driver is on their way" still waiting a further 10 mins. I am now on the point of cancelling my order. I would prefer honesty rather than to be fobbed off. Totally unexceptable way to run a business.

Recieved rotten chicken and they said it was fresh, I asked them to smell what they had given me and they refused to smell it absolute disgusting.

Absolutely will never go again, grill chicken was rubbish, grill was rubbish, did not give us 2 nans, half pounder and zinger burger was nice, that’s why I gave 1 star. Eeeaaaakkhhhhhhh Meat was salty or frozen since 1940. Anyway grills was absolutely rubbish

I always get this late at night when I am munchied... wether that’s helping my muffin top that’s another story... the fish is actual amazing fried kids fish and Chips n it was soooo good, and the lamb tikka is my fave can’t believe some places have gave me beef instead thinking we’re aw dumb? Amazing food and quick delivery, be back in a couple of nights

Tandoori chicken is amazing and you can order really late at night! Always really fresh and my favourite is lamb tikka it’s sooooo amazing with the chilli sauce. Chicken tikka masala pizza is also next level ❤️❤️ Always consistent!! And only £2 delivery fee on Just eat! Always quick delivery troops x

Not ordered from here for a while and won't again, really disappointed. Food was simply lukewarm and chips over cooked. Not enjoyable at all.

amazing chilli doner and curries

Don’t understand the good reviews because this was quite possibly the worst delivery food I have ever had. The mushroom bhaji was far too oily and hardly had any flavour - it just tasted like smoke. As for the Vindaloo, it tasted more like baby food that curry. We hardly finished it and it made us feel ill afterwards. The vegetable pakora was mediocre at best, the batter being far too soft and the sauce being too bland. To top it off, our food arrived half an hour late. Stay away from this place, it’s offensively bad.

Nunca escribo críticas, pero esta noche el Punjab se merece una, La comida estaba incompleta, dijeron que intentaron llamar dos veces pero mi teléfono no sonó, Me cobraron de más, Las pakoras de pollo estaban frías y la masa empapada, y el arroz estaba solo medio cocido, el pan nan era como goma, normalmente no he tenido quejas con este lugar, pero según los estándares de esta noche, no los volveré a usar

Great food, always plenty to go around as the portions are a good size. Staff are really friendly. Food is alway hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

Brilliant chicken tikka tandoori the rest of the food looked good

Visité aquí después de mirar las críticas y, además, estábamos en la zona de todos modos. Fue bastante bueno, pero he tenido mejor por el precio. A la comida le faltaba carne con más salsa de la necesaria. Lamb también fue un poco duro. Peshwari nan fue la pasta roja enfermiza e insípida que obtienes de algunas comidas para llevar, no el auténtico coco adecuado que usualmente obtienes. No pienses que volveremos.

Donor kebab is fab aswell as ice cream also reasonably priced

Very poor customer service , waited over an hour for food to be delivered and when it finally arrived the food was cold. The chips and curry sauce appeared to be reheated and was inedible , the chips were hard and no taste from the sauce. The kebab was sloppy and again could not eat it. I will never use this shop again and stress to anyone thinking of buying anything to save your money. Our order was 11pound and total waste of money and ph calls when we were asking about the time we waited for it to arrive.

Deliverys over an hour and ten minutes. 3 times. Shop makes any excuse for lateness time and time again. They blatantly lie that deliveries have left, when they are still in the shop, will never be back. Food is poor aswell. My advice stay well clear. Plenty of great fresh take aways near by.

Ordered a delivery and waited 1hr and 35 mins to come, but got a messaged to say our delivery was on its way to us... that was 45 mins it would have been in the car... not good.....

I’m afraid I had to return a chicken garde ( which was awful) ..I went in guns ablazing but was confronted by the owner who was the most delightful man ..straight away he apologised and explained he normally does the cooking but because of a accident he left early and left his junior who he was training up ( first time ) in charge which he now regrets ..I was given another meal made especially by him ..there was no comparison ( and it tasted delicious) not only that I was also given the rest of my order free of charge which included .. rice Nan bread and chicken pakora ..I was delighted to have my meal replaced and insisted that I have my money back ..£15.90 ! ..how’s that for service ...I would definitely go back ...anyone can make mistakes but it’s not everyone that rectifies it

Ordered a vegetable biryani, garlic naan and tarka Dal. Received within an hour which was ok and the only ok thing about it. Delivery guy handed me my food and that was it, no friendly customer service or anything. Had to stop him to give my tip. Opened up curries, my vegetable biryani sauce had writing in pen on both sides of the lid meaning marker pen or whatever it was had smeared in to my curry. Tarka dal was all salt with no flavour, and my curry was the worst I've ever had. The vegetables were clearly those cheap frozen vegetable bags you get from farmfoods or Iceland, the sort of crappy veg that my dogs wouldn't even get fed. Garlic naan didn't taste garlicky either. Photo speaks for itself, received better curries from my secondary school canteen. First time here and won't be back.

Excellent service, and the food is fantastic. We have tried most of the dishes and this is by far the best take away in Dundee.

Known about this place for ages and as we are in Newport on Tay never ordered. 1st time tonight and loved it. Struggled for a place that does a great mixture of all food. Nailed it 🖒

I stay very close to Punjab tandoori I have tried several thing on the menu and have been very impressed recently tried there curries and was blown away plenty with the portion that you receive and very tasty would definitely recommend to other well worth the money that they charge

After hearing great reviews from friends we were excited to try here. First of all we were missing our onion chutney. I had the lamb madras, it was very mild and pretty bland. My husband had the Mexican kebab again It lacked spice, flavour and jalapeños as promised. My daughter seemed to enjoy her pizza and chips but prob won't go back as there are plenty other take aways closer to home.

Best curry I have had in a long time! Had the meal for 2 on delivery and was so much food for the price. Would definitely order again.

Many places now do the Kebab and all have their own way of doing it at Punjab they look into just what makes a nice meat, others trying to cash in from their normal out of date fish & chips think something from a freezer may trick US real fans, it won't. Recent events have led me to attempt to try and find Dundee's best Kebab well I have decided that there is no answer to this as a Kebab I personally rate Very high the very next customer may hate the sauce. People who live in Dundee know all about the Kebab but you don't see it on many Good Food Guides, I fail to see why not as it for me it is a major part of any City in the UK. So when you come visit our BEAUTIFUL City, instead of going for that well-known burger or the one where you need to sell a Kidney have a wander around the City Centre and surrounding schemes, you shall soon find the pleasure of the MIGHTY KEBAB and if you haven't tried one, then you must. So Visitors to Dundee give this a try, I am sure if you pop the address into sat nav or jump on a 26 Bus at The High School next to the Mc Manus Galleries the driver will be helpful and tell you your stop for Punjab Tandoori and maybe if you mention you saw them on Trip Advisor you may even get a nice bonus. I should add that my meal above as you can see came with delivery and still under £15.00, You can't eat for that anywhere with a set table and what I got easily feeds two, I just like my food. So whatever Country you are visiting from jump in your car or on a bus and pop into Punjab and experience something that goes home with you.
