The best restaurants in The Ferry Dundee City Central Scotland

Visited last night for the second time and will definitely be back many times. The relaxed atmosphere suited us perfectly and the staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. We had a starter, main, and dessert to takeaway, it all tasted incredible and the portion sizes were generous.

Recién inaugurado (en enero) el restaurante 'Don Padrino' me ha bloqueado y eliminado mi comentario en su página de facebook, así que pensé en subir un post. Reserve una mesa hoy y estaba esperando la elección de dos menús, o "Platos individuales - Para aquellos que prefieren su propia indulgencia". Perfecto para personas con diferentes gustos. Muy engañoso, ya que cuando llegamos nos dijeron que teníamos que pedir el mismo menú. Uno o el otro. Lo siento, pero no estoy pagando £ 70 + si ni siquiera puedo elegir un menú diferente a mi pareja. El bloqueo de personas/eliminación de comentarios muestra que no puedes aceptar críticas por tus prácticas deficientes. Avergonzante tbh.

Food was excellent. Falafel delish! Great variety. Will be ordering again.

Went here for a sunday lunch, and waited for ages for everything.. I don't know how many staff were on, the bloke who greeted us was fine, we got our table, there was a chicken bone under it which the waitress spotted when she arrived and took away.. the table next to us wasn't cleared for ages.. we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks.. and everything else, food, more drinks also took ages. The staff themselves were fine .. it's an ok place but there are better to go to. Food was ok too. Will probbaly go back at some point but in no rush to do so. We'll take our time ;)

This was my second time at Goa. Food is absolutely exceptional as is the service. We asked for a photo as we were celebrating our 6th anniversary, the staff obliged and we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Service is second to none, food is excellent. Have recommended this place to family and friends already, and can't recommend them enough. Look forward to my next visit where I try my best not to, but completely overeat.

Nice atmosphere inside but quite dark. Good choice of cakes. Service was good. Food was not worth the price at all, cake was quite dry, and drink was not very good considering it wasn't just a regular drink. And expensive for what it was. £26 for 3 people for a coffee and cake 😔 wasn't worth that money unfortunately.

Fui aquí por tragos y algo de comer. No volverá. El lugar estaba sucio. Pedimos comida básica del pub y simplemente no era agradable en absoluto. Uno de los nuestros estaba realmente muy enfermo y otro no se sentía muy bien después y pensar que tal vez más que una coincidencia. Las cosas eran groseras y simplemente no podía importar, sentí que era más que un esfuerzo para servirnos. La guinda del pastel fue el propietario que vino a hablar con nosotros cuando nos quejamos de que el pescado de pescado con patatas fritas estaba frío. Posiblemente el hombre más arrogante que he conocido. Miró por la nariz y fue francamente grosero. No soy de los que se quejan cuando estoy fuera, pero pensé que la forma en que habló con una mujer de nuestro partido fue bastante repugnante y extremadamente irrespetuosa. No volverá.

Went in an ordered a plain Indian kebab with chips and come home and had an Indian kebab with everything on it. Tried to phone to say but voice mail kept on coming on. Raging , more intreated than hurry people on than listening to the order.

A long wait for service, a large function was on upstairs. But the food was well worth the wait.

Attended private function. The room smelled a bit foosty. The bar staff had no idea! Didn't pay the same price for a round. £3 for a can of coke and the 'Prosecco' was rank.

Staff very helpful and friendly. I ordered loaded fries which were good. Not at all soggy or owt like that.

Disappointed. The steak baguette would have been really good, if it had been hot. It *was* tasty, but the temperature of everything was barely warm and the onion rings had turned soggy. Not great, considering the cost.

Pizza class as normal. Guy on phone dull 😑 answered phone didn't speak awkward pause then said "what do you want then" told him my order and he hung up. 🤣🤣
