Amazing food! Such lovely friendly and helpful staff! This restaurant is a MUST! Highly recommended. We will be back when we are next visiting the area.

Yet again, the wonderful staff at Meze Grill accepted us as a ‘drop-in’. Food is delicious, great value, well presented & cooked quickly. The Turkish Effe beer is awesome! This place is becoming our ‘go-to’ when we’re seeking quality food at short notice.

Recently went to Meze Grill for my mum’s birthday and it was so good! Got the mixed grill for one and we both shared it as it was a lot of food. So big portion sizes, definitely worth the money. The chef also gave us some complementary cold mezes which was so kind of him. Can’t wait to go back sometime.

Absolutely lovely as usual. Food excellent, staff very friendly and polite. We had a set grill meal which included hot and cold starters and a grill. Portions are more than adequate, asked for a 'doggy bag'.

I need to share what an amazing experience I just had I Meze Grill. At my first looking to the drink menu I saw they had Caipirinha for drinks, and as a good Brazilian I had to try it. The waitress was very polite and asked me how I would like it (traditional way or house recipe). Went for the tradition and, guys, it was brilliant. Food was something else. Went for falafel as starter and got a bread with hummus to try alongside. Both delicious! Main plate was the mix grill for one, and trust me, I am a good eater but the amount of food that came was just too much (in the good way!). My biggest regret was not being able to eat it all 😂 All the staff was very friendly and efficient. Nice ambient, the place just smells gooood food! I wish I lived nearby to bring as many friends as possible to meet this place. Thanks a lot! Will definitely be coming back in future opportunities!

5 stars. Firstly can we speak about the freshness of the food? I had the tabouleh, babaganoush, halloumi and was given a potato dish by the wonderful Ashraf. The mint tea was delicious and I treated myself to the baklava which was gooey and delightful. Ashraf and I talked about our world and its mysteries. Not to miss if you are in the ferry.

Different from a traditional Turkish restaurant, it's more diverse Mediterranean food, a small place with friendly customer service. We enjoyed everything, from starters to main course and their side sauces. Fresh bread and pizza from woodfire oven.

Its always a delight going to Meze Grill, since the takeover the place has definitely gone up levels! I've brought business clients, family and friends to Meze Grill and all have enjoyed it thoroughly The food, service and atmosphere is top notch. Staff are very friendly. The owner Ashraf is a top lad, always goes out of his way to ensure all his guests are beyond satisfied.

The food is good, Really good! We had a mixed platter for 4 and it was a substantial meal for 8, and believe me, I like my food. It was a takeaway so I can't comment on service or atmosphere, but did I say the food was good?

You will not regret eating here. The is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Try the Efes - it's a good beer 🍺.

This is a busy and very lively place with a view of the chefs at work. They specialise in Middle Eastern cuisine cooked over charcoal and the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Service is friendly and fast, the prices are very affordable and the food is really superb! I Had the bread and olives to start followed by mixed grill for one. It was cooked perfectly, seasoned with lemon and spices and served with chilli sauce and yoghurt. I absolutely loved it. The very best food of this type I have ever eaten. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Broughty Ferry - it’s wonderful!

This was our 3rd visit in recent weeks. We have been twice as a couple for lunch. Tonight we had a friend with us and went for dinner. On each occasion we have had very good, friendly service. On the first visit service was initially slow but then was fine and last twice had been excellent. First two visits we had the mezze starters with nan bread for lunch. Very varied, tasty and filling. Tonight we has mezze starters for 2 between 3 of us. 2 of us then had vegetable moussaka and I had roast vegetables. All were very tasty, well presented and satisfying. No room left for desserts unfortunately Bill around £50.00.

Yummy! We ordered the Meze Grill for 2. I think you could feed more than 2 people. 2 chilli and 2 garlic sauces, 6 cold sides, 2 rice, 2 salads, 2 packs of bread and a container full of grilled meat. It was a ton of food and everything tasted great even if we didn't know what 2 of the sides were. I'm sure we'll eat here again before we return to the United States.

Excellent lunch. Wonderful friendly service, great food and value for money. We had the three tapas for £10.95. Highly recommend.

Got a Meza meal for 2 and all I can say is Whoa, we are stuffed! Tasty and cooked to perfection if we are down again definitely eating there again! Take a bow! 👍👍

Have eaten here several times. Food and service absolutely fantastic. Had baba ganoush and aubergine stew as part of the meze starter and enjoyed it so much ordered both to take away. The stew had the bitter aubergine taste and then the sweetness of the other ingredients. Superb!!! Had it for tea tonight and will be going to get some more soon.

This was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. Staff couldn't be more helpful and the atmosphere was also good. This is pretty good, we got like 4 mix grills I think can really remember. But the meats were a little dry and tough but it was still good and flavourful. The portion size was pretty good as well, we were all struggling to finish.

Wonderful food and service. The restaurant had a very authentic Middle Eastern feel to it. I had 3 meze starters as my meal, followed by the dates for dessert. Amazing!

An overall disappointing experience. Meze starter, the dishes were tasty just not nearly enough bread to mop up the sauces which was a disappointment. The mains looked quite small too. The Meze main looked more copious but with some disappointing ingredients. The lamb Kofta was good and tiny chicken wings well marinated but the tiny wings held very little meat. The one lamb chop was really very small and disappointing. The host was lovely though. Overall the food dishes were underwhelming and I think the Meze Grill needs to seriously improve dishes as in my opinion there are far better Mediterranean restaurants out there in the surrounding locality with which to choose from.

Nice restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, plates, especially the mixed grill positively groaning with food so good portions. With one small exception - I had the king prawn main which was the same price as the huge mixed grills. Nothing wrong with the taste but I felt the amount of prawns was rather small in comparison with the other dishes. But my main issue was that the amount of rice that came with it was very very small and not nearly enough to cope with the amount of sauce with the prawns. I got some extra bread to mop up the remaining sauce for which they charged me £1.50. Either serve this dish with more rice or include bread.

Great food at reasonable prices, prepared & served by friendly & attentive staff. We are both vegetarian, so can only comment on that type of food, but other diners also seemed to be enjoying their lunches :)

We enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here at the beginning of the month. The food was absolutely beautiful - fresh, high quality ingredients cooked and prepared with love and care. The genuine warm welcome and on-going attention from staff made us feel very well looked after and appreciated. The restaurant was busy but everything felt as though it was being skilfully managed by staff, so we were able to sit back and relax. The decor and music were really nice and contributed to the atmosphere. I cannot emphasise enough how delicious the food was, there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, along with a wide range of meats and fish dishes. The bread is amazing - worth ordering a portion or two to share. There were a whole page of meze options if you want to try these, a lot of choice and everything coming out of the kitchen looked vibrant and well presented. Will come back again soon!

Fantastic food and fantastic service. We visited the Meze today and as usual we had a lovely afternoon. The service is excellent and the portion sizes amazing!

Always enjoyed their restaurant and food but the takeway side is getting worse. For example, £5 for this portion of Halloumi? Hardly appetising.

Have been a few times now, and the food is always excellent. The triple platter (cold meze, hot meze and mixed grill) is excellent value and the portion size is spot on. I really wanted to give them a 5* review, but something tonight doesn't sit easy with me. We didn't feel there was enough bread with the cold Meze (4 pieces between 2) so we asked for a little extra and we're brought 3 more pieces and didn't think any more about it. When it came to paying the bill at the end of the evening (£80 between 2), they'd charged us for these extra 3 small pieces of bread. 😕 A real shame, as this has tainted our impression of an excellent establishment.

Delicious food for starters and main courses, good range of options. We had vegetarian options and were very happy with both the quality and quantity of all our dishes. There are vegan and gluten Free options available on the menu as well as the usual selection for the carnivores. It was a quiet lunchtime service (Wednesday), and from the moment we walked through the door, Asha & the rest of the staff made us most welcome, and saw to our every need. We shall certainly be coming back again!!

This is one of the best if not the best middle eastern restaurant in Dundee , the food is amazing and the service is impeccable, the staff and the owner is so friendly . I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to want proper Arabic and middle eastern food .

We have been greeted by the waiter confidently and were immediately seated. We have received very delicious starters with hummus and bread all seasoned in great fashion. The peri peri pizza and the chicken kofte kebab both tasted incredibly good while the atmosphere was also nice. Would recommend.

My husband and I visited just before Christmas and enjoyed a delicious selection of food. Each course was explained by the very helpful staff member and all of the dishes were extremely tasty. We will definitely return to try some more dishes in the future....

Great service from staff, excellent food and cracking value. If we lived in the area this would be a regular haunt. They even managed to dig out some Efes beer for me.

Ordered a delivery over the phone and asked about gluten free options, the woman on the phone was so helpful and aware of things like cross contamination which right away put my mind at ease. The food arrived quickly, was hot and the gluten free dishes were clearly marked. We all really enjoyed the food, I do wish my halloumi kebab would have come with some more vegetables (there was only half a tomato, a small piece of onion and a chilli) but other than that everything was amazing! Will definitely order again, also we have eaten at the restaurant a few months ago and had an equally positive experience. Very charming, atmospheric venue & quick, friendly service.

My first time visiting Meze. What an awful experience, order 2 adana Kebab plates, they arrived after 45 minutes !!When the plates arrived the rice was probably 2 days old and if you haven’t tried Kebab before you will never tell what an actual Kebab taste like. Food was good but service was appalling. The lady who I presume was the owner was rude and ignored us for a fair time until we managed to get her attention by getting up and walking over. Her lack of customer service actually spoiled our meal as we were not being accommodated or acknowledged. My just turned 2 year old broke a candle holder by accident which we offered to pay for as we were made to feel awful and from there onwards we felt very unwelcome. Date Night = Amazing Food First time coming here with the boyf. Meze Grill did not disappoint! The staff are really friendly, warm and inviting. On entering, there is a hand sanitisation station and friendly staff to welcome you. We were shown our seats. Maybe 5mins afterwards we placed our drink and food order. I chose the JeeJay Chicken kebab and the boyf got the Mixed grill for 1 and a portion of halloumi fries. Waiting time on our food to be delivered to our table wasn't long and the food was roasting. Both dishes came with rice, side salad, half a tattie and roasted tomato. Our plates were huge!!!! The food was amazing! My chicken was so juicy and moist and the tattie was the best tattie I had ever tasted! Boyfs mixed grill didn't stay on his plate long. So it must've been good. 2 x mains 2 x drinks 1 x side All came to just under £57. We will definately visit here for food in the future. Another wee gem of a restaurant in Dundee

Staff was friendly and accommodating, and portions were very generous. We ordered the sharing platter for 4, which should've been called the Royal Feast because the presentation made me feel like a king. Absolutely phenomenal. The chicken (I got the shawarma and my mom got the shish kebab) was incredibly tender and juicy, the tabbouleh and potato salad starters were superb, and the garlic and chilli sauces really completed the meal. A very warm and inviting atmosphere with the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. My mom’s over visiting me from the states and it’s the best meal we had, bar none. Would 100% recommend stopping by if you’re in Broughty Ferry or it’s worth the bus ride out just to eat here. The staff and chef were so kind and lovely and made the incredible meal even more enjoyable.
