Always a busy wee place, very friendly, attracting young and old. It is a Karaoke bar, a big change from its early days, but it's a change for good, bringing lots of custom. Staff are friendly and efficient too, and know how to run a bar, which is always a bonus. If you're looking for a fun night out in the Ferry, this is the place to be!!!

Been a regular when I go out for over 40yrs. Seen great managers come & go. Just got barred this week for being drunk and abnoxious with Apparantly a disgusting attitude. Following a funeral went there in the afternoon. Funny thing is it's where I was served the alcohol that got me in that state!!! Really 🤣🤣. Lesson don't go to a pub who serves you copious amounts of alcohol. "Duty of care"!!

Excellent service from the bar staff! Good karaoke with decent singers.

Karaoke evening ,bit of a rabble

Would not recommend to pub goers who like a pint and a wee go on the bandit. Apparently that's not enough to remain a valued customer. My husband just got barred for doing this! Otherwise, seems a decent pub

Out for a walk and stopped off for a pint and a heat up. Nice place.

Would never go back here this place is only about the regulars. The Local Legends that get cheaper drink than any Tourists visiting. Been here about 4 times on past visits to The Ferry always thought it was expensive for drink but as I was at the bar sitting this time I noticed that all the regulars get discounted prices charged as local Legends. Not sure if this is even legal but a welcome this is not more like a slap on the face. I for one won't be back and would advise anyone visiting to do the same. 👎 .........In answer to the reply about the Tesco Card and The lovely Staff that I should have asked for a loyalty number the mention of COVID etc. This won't change my mind about this I live in Glasgow and would never expect to be charged less than anyone else in a Pub. It is Shocking that this place feels justified in this appalling treatment to Tourists. Also why would anyone think of asking for a discount as suggested. . Prices should be clearly advertised with any discounts explained. So poor an explanation. Anybody I have discussed this with have had the same response as myself. Would advise anyone not to go to The Eagle Coaching 😡

Good prices great bar staff, friendly pub

Nice little pub. It was really busy and the staff were run off their feet but were very friendly and efficient. We had a good time there.

Went here on a Thursday early evening. Was just myself and Nikita behind the bar. Had a few pints and a good chat. Will definitely visit again.

Had a great night out last Saturday here. Atmosphere was electric, so friendly and great fun. Only wish Karaoke person would have let more of the patrons get a chance to sing.

Popped in with my kid's and my sister to see an Eagle that my great grandfather carved, and used to be hung outside the pub. Unfortunately we couldn't see it, as the owner wasn't in but the chap behind the bar was friendly and helpful. We had a few drinks and the pub had a good atmosphere.

Myself and a few of my work mates decided to go into The Eagle and it reminded me of walking into a scheme pub and you weren't from that scheme,not the best of vibes to be honest. Also,the barman coughing his lungs out while pouring pints then decided to wipe his mouth with the palm of his hand then picking up a pint tumbler.

Really great pub in the centre of Brought Ferry. The barman and customers were very friendly and approachable. Had a nice afternoon there on our anniversary. Will definitely visit again next time I am in the area.

I've visited this pub twice over a six month period;June and December 2021. Nice friendly staff and customers. Both times i ordered a pint of Stella. Both times i have been left with the same thought,'that's not stella'. The second time I visited was purely to satisy myself that on the first occasion my experience wasn't due to 'spicy food' or other tastebud reasons. It wasn't, same non- stella experience six months apart. I can't speak to the other taps,I didn't try them.

50th birthday & refused entry..apparently Sunday 25th September was Challenge over 35s night. Doorman you done more for trade than covid did well done

Stoatin wee pub!! Great banter from staff and locals. Debbie "Change", the owner, even poured me into a taxi at the end of a memorable day. Even had the foresight to provide suncream and sunglasses in beer garden. Class act all round!! BEST pub in town.

Beautiful wee pub great atmosphere. Staff are all friendly and like to chat with the customer's don't make you just feel like a number to the stafg every person is welcome. Would recomend to anyone whos visting brought ferry .

Heaving hot and sweaty, toilets are disgusting. Apart from that it's OK.

A lovely pub with great outside suntrap seats. Publican caring for her clientele offering suncream and sunglasses to make your visit more comfortable. Lovely touch 😊

Eagle is great when the pint snatched allows it to be open.

Dreadful ales. Probably pipes need a good clean. Definately avoid.

Ok nice pub old time well priced

Lunchtime on a Friday. Mostly men on their own having a pint. Silence was deafening. Like sitting in a library.

It's the only place that offers karaoke in the Ferry on Saturday night.... so if you wanna sing there is no other pub to compete with.

OK pub in ferry low ceiling make it very hot and stuffy, bit crowded if busy s they shut other door at side, good service from bar staff, prefered it when George Fleming had it as it was in 2 sections, bernie the bar man

Being a regular frequenter of the hostileries in Broughty Ferry, I find myself frequenting the Eagle more. The management and staff have transformed this public house so, so much and are starting to reap the benefits of their hard work.....as are the clientel that come in. Very friendly, positive and well run establishment that cater for all ages at the correct times. Always trying something different, being topical as Easter Day yesterday proved. Per head of capacity....easily the busiest pub in the Ferry. It really is a joy to go to the Eagle... Well done and hats off to Debbie, her management team and staff for the attention to detail, the natural concern and strict yet fair handling of their customers.

Lively, usually very busy, can be difficult to get served as usually a big queue and not enough staff. Karaoke can be a great laugh!

Great atmosphere, especially at weekend's on Karaoke nights. Staff are very Efficient and you won't have to queue long for a beer even when it's busy.

This place has been transformed, it's now run by two sisters. What a difference they have made. Great atmosphere, great craic.
