The Wokshop Dundee in Dundee City

Food was ready really quickly on a Sunday night. From ordering to collection, no more than 10mins. Salt and Chilli chicken was a bit too salty (even for a fish made with salt) and the chow mein was a bit bland, so just a bit of tweaking the seasoning and would have been great.

Shop feels a bit sketchy but the food was very good (for me) although a couple flat mates didn't like parts of theirs. But overall great place with reasonable prices! I'd massively recommend the salt and pepper chips from here!

food amazing was missing few items but the team were on it. Had all food 15 mins later and really enjoyed. really good food and service.

Order regularly, always excellent service and excellent food. Forgot our noodles but instantly replaced them after a call and even gave us a couple freebies. Best ever!

First order from here and it will be my fav chinese takeaway, food was great!!! Good portions, food arrived hot, polite delivery driver.

Order was mixed up however a quick call and 10 minutes later the replacement item was sent with some free cans of juice and prawn crackers thank you great customer service!

Wasn’t as hot as it normally is but it said it left the shop 18 minutes before it arrived

After receiving a text saying my order was on its way, it took 20 minutes longer than it should have taken from the area the shop is in to my house. It wasn’t even double wrapped so was cold. Fed up of this kind of service, it is happening too often.

Excellent. Ordered salt and pepper king prawn and usually this is overly salty.. It was perfect. Also everything else I bought was NOT caked in salt like every other Chinese seems to love to do. Will defo be buying from them again.

The best in Dundee for me, I’ll not order from another Chinese in future. I would like to see bigger range of selection for the munchie box however as I prefer more variety, but everything I did receive was perfectly cooked and seasoned so it’s not a criticism, just a matter of preference. The driver failed to deliver my can of juice as he accidentally left it in store, I was very surprised when I got a knock at the door with a bottle of juice instead as a way of apologising. Excellent service

Delivered exactly on time by a lovely delivery person. Food was still hot even though we live a good distance from the shop. The food was really tasty, not too spicy and we all enjoyed it. We will definitely order again!

Hot chilli oil not worth £2.50. Special curry wasn’t good, lacking flavour big time! Fried rice tasted and smelled off! Why not egg fried ?

Was really disappointed with the quality of this food this time from wokshop which normally I always enjoy, the salt and pepper chicken had no chillis and was bland, the Mongolian beef was really thick and chewy , it was also bland and the large spring rolls have reduced a lot in size and barely any filling in them! All things different to what I remember from my last wok shop order

I ordered noodles with veg wich was very nice, and salt n pepper chips and salt n pepper chicken both I couldn't eat at all, I really like salty but both was so salty that even mixing it under the noodles was simply not eatable it was seriously waaaaayyyy tooo salty to eat so 2 dishes out of 3 wasted, wich is pretty sad, I'm not often in Dundee and was looking forward to my dinner, disappointing, sadly.

Never again sauce is burst in the bag and ur driver hands it over it’s all over my carpet and everything ! And no answer from the shop

Disappointing as we'd ordered two curry sauce and chips but only received one.. Oyjerwise ok.

Missed my curry sauce off the order which is an essential component obviously lol. Called up to let them know and it was delivered very quickly with a bottle of Fanta and extra prawn crackers which was a good touch. Food was brilliant like the service we received. Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I pressed cash instead of card when ordering phoned restaurant and this was resolved quickly. Food was running late due to a road accident but was kept updated . Food arrived hot and amazing as always

Honestly been getting from them for a while, and loved it every time. Delivery is generally pretty fast for the distance, and drivers are always courteous and cheerful. All round good place and highly recommend!

Try it first time last night. The chicken wing is highly recommend, very juicy and crispy. The delivery was fast. Our flat gate has little problem but the driver found me at the first minute. Will try other dishes next time.

chicken tasted horrible and put me off chips tasted reheated and chicken balls weren't crispy. for the price we pay it should be better quality

Ordered many times my son enjoyed his but my chicken balls batter had no taste and sweet sour sauce was like jelly couldnt pour it fried rice had no taste either but 1 out of 10 i have ordered isnt bad but wont order that again sorry still have most of it left

The absolute best kung po and prawn toast in Dundee - you might have to wait a little on the weekend because it's so popular, but it is always worth the wait! I hope they open a second one up.

Usually my go to place but Asked for shredded chicken in the curry, its not been a problem before and got bit chunks the kids wont eat it like that

I had the same meal on Sunday, the FRS, I order every time I come to Dundee. Love the Wokshop, best Chinese in Dundee. Unfortunately tonight the meal was dry, not as much meat and prawns. First time I’ve been disappointed. Hopefully just an off night.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Food was 30 mins late recieved message at 19.20 saying Food was on the way but didn't arrive until 20.10. Food was cold hardly any rice for the curry plate was sailing with sauce.

If I could give it a zero I would totally gutted tried the wokshop tonight as seen it had good reviews waited 2 hours for it too be delivered after being told 40 minutes and it was the wrong order ,service was shocking took over an hour too even attempt too fix it and replace our food without even a sorry they then said our new order would be sent out and be atleast another 30 minutes in the end just got a refund and ordered a KFC instead

Wouldn't recommend at all unless you wanna be sick, my brother was up at 5am being sick for hours because of the food from here.

Best Chinese takeaway I have had so far, chicken sweet and sour with the rice noodle bean sprouts is awesome! Fast delivery too!

So, I place an order online, paid by Apple Pay, price of the order taken from my account, then call them 2 hours later for them to tell me they are too busy and can’t send me the food! But I can re order it, and hopefully they will send the food but they will charge me again and I should get a refund for my first order soon! Really, so they will take payment twice and I will wait several days for a refund of the first order that they never sent? Suffice to say you have lost a customer, careful if you order from this place.

Haven't had a Chinese takeaway for a while as unable to get one with a black bean sauce, without the sauce being too strong to the point of making me gag. Gave the Wokshop a punt because a leaflet dropped through door and have to say our meals (chicken and green peppers in blackbean sauce & king prawns with green peppers in blackbean sauce) were the best I have had in a long time. Chicken was very tender and the peppers/vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Wife's was also perfect and unlike some takeaways, who are very tight with the prawns, not the case with this one and there were loads. Ordered via app and delivery was on time and hot. Happy to recommend this and will definitely use again.

Ordered Mongolian chicken was absolutely tasteless

It was one of the best noodles ever had in Scotland. Pure taste good portion size as well very fresh. I do recommend if anyone would like to have some good Chinese this is the place in Dundee.

Been going to this chinese takeaway for years and it's the best one in Dundee and staff are very friendly

I've been searching for years for proper old-fashioned pancake rolls (not the tiny frozen spring rolls with tasteless mushy filling that you seem to get everywhere now) and at last I've found them, right here on my doorstep at the Silver Pearl. Large, crispy, filled with crunchy beansprouts and tasty bits of prawn, chicken & char siu pork, an absolute delight. We're currently having fun gradually working our way through the rest of menu trying out all our favourites. Highly recommended.
