The best restaurants in Argyll & Bute Central Scotland

Cold food, stale beer and apathetic staff and having to clean own table after an hour. Also a manager who could've give a rats, avoid if possible.

The Hotel, restaurant and bar have all been re branded. Now the Perle Hotel bar and Eastern Med restaurant.

the staf are very friendly and the meals are very good, the outside area across from the restaurant has lovely views and it is possible to sit there with a drink

Popped in for a drink, staff were nice, sadly homeless hostel residents that drink there were quite abusive to tourists, why this tolerated is beyond me. I'll take my custom elsewhere.

We had booked a table in the restaurant but were set up in the 'Snug' instead as there was a large party in. We were happy with that as the Snug has a better atmosphere, though is a bit dated. Our food was good, the staff were welcoming and the service efficient.

Was filling up with petrol, and this was next door...so...time for a Coffee and a Bacon Butty. 2.50 each. Quick service, surprisingly quick. Coffee was OK, but bacon was clearly pre-cooked and kept warm. Overall ? .... Adequate.

The steak was ordered, but the menu was quite limited. We enjoyed the meal, but my wife asked for a glass of house red wine, we were brought a bottle which was going to cost £26. My wife accepted it but she is not the type to complain. We were disappointed though.

Visited the Isle just to go to the Spa as the website / treatment options were the most appealing that I could see in the local area. I was looked after brilliantly by Mahi, who did my treatment and was attentive, clearly very experienced and tailored everything precisely to my needs. Definitely an asset to the hotel. I have had many Spa treatments in top hotels around the world and this experience was right up there with the best! Highly recommended.

Fuimos en familia y la experiencia fue muy agradable. La cerveza que probamos era muy buena y el pub era muy acogedor. Pasamos un muy buen rato y el ambiente era muy tranquilo y adecuado para estar en familia. El camarero era muy amable.

Disgusting customer service, lady was so rude and unpleasant whilst serving us, would advise to go elsewhere, was there with my toddler grandchild who said thank you, she just turned her back on him and walked away , no way to run a business. Definitely not value for money either. Thankfully everywhere else we went in Helensburgh was so friendly and welcoming

Food was very hearty and full of flavour. It all tasted delicious. Love the fact that you could taste the freshness of ingredients as well as the feeling it was all homemade. The atmosphere is very modern, homely, clean and fresh. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!!!😊👍

Could have waited open later than 5pm and would be another choice to have dinner. Disappointed the pool closed at 5pm

we really enjoyed eating our breakfast and dinner int he conservatory , the view are stunning and made it a pleasure

Our first visit to Scotland and found the shore on one off our walks we was Staying at a cottage nearby this place is perfect for coffee and Cakes also had lunch one day very nice , hopefully see you again soon 🙂

This place is very busy place most of the time specially during dinner time. I advise advance booking. The team led by Rohit is very professional, quick and attentive. Service is great as I felt I been treated as a King. My pasta bolognaise was delicious.
