Never disappointed, friendly service, good value for money, would definitely recommend the Korean Chicken, to die for

Has to be one of the best wetherspoons in the country. Get a table by the dock. Watch the calmac ferries come and go. Look across the beautiful bay. As usual the food is excellent. Staff polite. Food served quickly. Although we are in early Saturday morning. Will keep coming back.

This was the worst breakfast I’ve had anywhere in the world. Everything was lukewarm the egg was as hard as iron and the bacon undercooked. The only thing that was hot was the tea we had made ourselves. Absolutely diabolical!

The menu has been reduced which was disappointing. No steaks but lots of burgers! Had a curry, disappointing as they no longer serve with poppadom and naan, and there was no choice to order them as a side. When I asked a member of staff he said they were cut out of the menu about a month ago and didn't appear to know why. Apparently they have also cut the breakfast menu so no eggs royal/benedict, we found a nice local private cafe for a great breakfast and didn't return to wetherspoons during our holiday.

I will be honest and say that I never used to be a fan of Weatherspoons and the first year we visited this one I was not impressed. However that was during the first year of the Corona Virus pandemic. On going back the next year it was totally different and my experience was far better. This year we went back twice for an evening meal and I really enjoyed both of them. The first evening I chose their spicy chicken, chips and coleslaw with a Tennessee Jack Daniel's Sauce. Unfortunately their deep fat friers had just broken down so no chips. I had the spicy rice instead and it was lovely. The second time we went back I had the chicken basket and chips and a BBQ Sauce which was just as lovely. All our dishes came with a free drink, either alcoholic or non. To be honest this is one of the places to go if you are on a budget as both the food and drink prices are extremely reasonable and if you have young kids this is a good place to take them. We also stopped in one morning simply for a cup of tea and a coffee and you can simply help yourself to a refill.

Last in wetherspoons in May 2024. It appears that since we were last in they have reduced the menu by about 50% and it just so happens that among the items they have removed are the favourite items of my wife and I. Had a bbq bacon ,chicken and cheese panini and the bacon was hardly cooked if at all and it was overloaded with bbq sauce. Used to go here regular when doing the shopping in Oban but not anymore.

Locals to the Oban area and eat frequently at the Corryvekan. Until recently has been a lovely, lively place to eat with a good menu for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Would have recommended as an ideal place to eat. We are regulars. Although a popular place and busy. We have always managed to find a table and if lucky a comfortable booth. Sadly our last two visits in June 2024 was a very poor, terrible experience. Seems to be new staff. When we went for a breakfast we did not get all the items supposed to be included in dish. Staff came to check our plates! The staff member initially tried to tell us dish didn't come with items, until my husband made them read their menu! Today we went for lunch to find heavy reduced menu, with half of the menu no longer offered. Please reinstate the full menu as soon as possible. We will not visiting again this summer with the current menu.

Very small meal poor quality had about 7 beans and a tiny amount of cheese very dry. Food was thrown on the table and servers ran off without asking if we would like anything. Really worst service I have ever experience.

The drinks we had were very nice but the food is very expensive compared to other Spoons which was disappointing. I would choose other places to eat for better quality at the same price.

pizza was so burnt i felt like i was crunching on a rock. staff did f all about it wtf i’m upset and think i chipped a tooth. will probably be coming back because it’s only place i can go to skip school but trust i will be holding a grudge im upset never cook a pizza again

Stopped here for lunch on a very wet and windy Tuesday afternoon. The place was very busy but found a table ok. The meun is the same as any wetherspoons so no surprise. But the food came out hot and the staff were friendly can't ask for much more

Brilliant location, but you pay a premium for drinks and food. Do yourself a favor venture into Oban for a greater selection of fresh food and cheaper drinks. I personally think this pub chain is bad for a small town. Support local produce and businesses.

Made multiple visits to this very well laid out and attractive 'spoons, during a recent stay in Oban. Very well situated on the harbour, the staff were friendly and helpful, service fast and efficient. Called in for drinks, breakfasts and an evening meal over 4 days, each was delicious and of great value. Highly recommended.

Visit this branch of Wetherspoons often whenever we visit Oban for a weekend away, staff are great serving food and drinks and tables are cleaned quickly. Had the eggs Benedict this time and it was gorgeous will be having this again next time we’re up.

Went here a couple of times while visiting Oban. Cheap beers and wine and good views of Oban harbour. Worth a visit when in Oban and on a budget.

Popped in at 11am for breakfast. Ordered on the app and received cup instantly. Food however was another story! It was apparent that the loud and rude female was in charge. Barking orders to the clearly undertrained other staff members! I was sitting in front of the hatch and witnessed 7 different tables complain and cancel orders, my order Took over 45 mins to come and was not overly warm! When I queried I was met with ‘it’s busy!’ Really?? Just because it’s busy should not mean that customers are left waiting! No brown sauce either!! Over all a very poor service!

Service at the bar was prompt and friendly. That was the end of it. We ordered before others in our party yet their food came out way before ours. When we asked about ours, they needed a refresh on what we ordered and then the excuses started. They finally brought out one of the missing breakfasts but not the other. When we asked again, more excuses and no food. Everyone was done eating and still no second order. I finally gave up and got a refund. It was then that the food magically appeared. Unreal. Our group was all done eating by then so we left the food and left. Ridiculous excuses for no reason. No one that worked there seemed to care. The bar employees rock! The servers and the kitchen suck. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

La pulizia dei tavoli e del locale non il massimo ma ad un nostro cenno una cameriera gentilmente è venuta a disinfettare velocemente il tavolo.

Very busy restaurant but very friendly staff. Great food, great location and would love to go again. Prices were reasonable. Good range of meals available including the kids options. The five of us had a very enjoyable and tasty meal. If this branch is a typical example of a Weatherspoon's as this was our first time using one, we will definitely eat at others.

They lost out on 4 meals and drinks due to no dogs allowed policy. Ok for smokers to sit outside and pollute everyone though.... friends had been for breakfast day before and said it was awful.

Ate here twice during a brief visit to Oban, once for breakfast and again for a mid morning snack, and would do so again. You can’t beat the prices, the views, and the unlimited hot drink refills. My rolls with fried egg were fresh and soft, and the porridge portion was generous.

On a lochs &glens coach tour which had a day trip to Oban and came in for lunch and had the ham egg and chips and very pleased with the price i paid and the food

The food was an absolute waste of time. The taste of the garlic bread I ordered tasted like the surface of Venus and looked like it aswell. I also ordered a lemonade and it tasted of sparkling water doused in lemon skin.
