We were tired after our journey to stay in the hotel so decided to eat in the conservatory. After sitting down we were left for ages before someone eventually gave us menus. We'd expected the prices to be high but even so were shocked at the prices. The choice was limited. Still we considered it a treat and were looking forward to our food. When it eventually came it was tasteless and overcooked.

Walked into the hotel for an evening meal, was taken to the conservatory and basically ignored, took an age to get a drink, waiting staff so so miserable one couldn't even speak English, like faulty towers, qua!!food was very slow and mediocre, would not recommend because of the unhelpful miserable staff, you realy need some happy front of house staff, weren't even offered another drink at the table, with our meal, awful experience spoilt our night.

We both ordered the burgers for our evening meal in the hotel, accompanied by chunky chips & onion rings. Everything was freshly cooked & delicious, the onion rings being the best I've ever had,

Stunning scenery and good food for starter and main course. Very disappointed by poor choice of desserts.

This is actually the Premier Inn Hotel restaurant, but don’t be fooled by any means - this is not standard. The food is great & made by a very creative Chef would pays attention to deal & cares about what he’s plating. Our server who was also the bar tender was so nice & very attentive. Houmous & gain salad on the Mediterranean salad dish were all made from scratch & with the olives & pita bread were excellent. The linguine, tomato with prawn was also a winner. Tiramisu cream made from scratch too. We asked to meet the Chef the meal was so good - a very humble, nice hungarian guy. A pleasure to meet him. Given it was a hotel restaurant - it was a bit quiet, but we didn’t care as the ambiance was relaxed & tables were rustic. Who needs crowds - LOL.

Got a fish supper and received one small fish and a handful of chips. Chips avarage, fish shocking for a fishing community like Campbeltown. Greasy fish very thin and soggy like Spngebob.

Arrived for a reservation we had booked, the place was closed and nobody inside. Phone went straight to voicemail. The website and sign on the window says closed Monday Tuesday however locals then told us they have decided to close on Wednesday? Very very disappointing and inconvenient as we traveled quite a distance with my disabled mother.
