Delicious home baking as well as lunch/ breakfast menu. Everything freshly made to order. Susan, and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We visited this place for some lunch. I’d not return. We ordered toasties with teas and coffees. The service is at best shoddy. The sullen young man who took our order had poor communication skills, looking positively miserable. The coffees and teas arrived in a reasonable time frame, however the toasties took over 35 minutes to arrive, by which time the coffees and teas were well gone or would’ve been cold. The food wasn’t great nor was it presented very well. My wife visited the bathroom during our wait, to discover whoever was in the kitchen doing the food prep had a crying baby glued to her hip. We then overheard the sullen waiter announce to other customers they weren’t doing any more food for the day causing other guests to get up and leave. Not a great look and it’s probably time to give up the ghost.

Friendly service with fresh light cake and coffee. Provided some fresh water for our dog and very welcoming. Sold basics like milk which saved us returning to Dunoon as we forgot to buy some.

My partner and I stopped here on a bonny day for some lunch. Food was good quality, value for money and the service was great. We sat out on the front in the shade and enjoyed the view.

Close down, the cafe was lease out and the couplers did a midnight run. Leaving the place in a shambles.

This is actually the Premier Inn Hotel restaurant, but don’t be fooled by any means - this is not standard. The food is great & made by a very creative Chef would pays attention to deal & cares about what he’s plating. Our server who was also the bar tender was so nice & very attentive. Houmous & gain salad on the Mediterranean salad dish were all made from scratch & with the olives & pita bread were excellent. The linguine, tomato with prawn was also a winner. Tiramisu cream made from scratch too. We asked to meet the Chef the meal was so good - a very humble, nice hungarian guy. A pleasure to meet him. Given it was a hotel restaurant - it was a bit quiet, but we didn’t care as the ambiance was relaxed & tables were rustic. Who needs crowds - LOL.

Arrived for a reservation we had booked, the place was closed and nobody inside. Phone went straight to voicemail. The website and sign on the window says closed Monday Tuesday however locals then told us they have decided to close on Wednesday? Very very disappointing and inconvenient as we traveled quite a distance with my disabled mother.

Got a fish supper and received one small fish and a handful of chips. Chips avarage, fish shocking for a fishing community like Campbeltown. Greasy fish very thin and soggy like Spngebob.
