The best restaurants in Scotland

I would like to say a huge thank you to Bobby and his staff for an excellent funeral buffet. The food was first class and the service from both waitresses was second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending 'Thistles' for any function.

I only ever order online from Rashos but I can tell you now! The people that work there are incredible, super kind folk. Glad to see a place like this exists in the community *****

We had a wonderful meal here from starter to dessert, the menu is very well put together. I had the scallops to start, beef fillet for main and Delice for dessert, all highly recommended, the beef main course was one of the best pieces of beef I have ever had. Simply outstanding!!

As always amazing ! AMAZING Staff kind and courteous. Food truly divine , setting magnificent. It doesn’t get better . I would not eat anywhere else in Portpatrick . In fact I love eating here and a restaurant in Kircudbright . The others nearby are poor and tent to take advantage of through traffic so they don’t really want regulars .

I ordered this from Turkey and they actually brought it beatiful restaurant with insane service

Sunday afternoon cabaret with Just John and Paul plus a fabulous afternoon tea- would definitely book again !

Estábamos en Bridge of Allan y las críticas para este lugar me parecieron buenas. Teníamos pasteles y bebidas calientes y ambos eran buenos. Lo que vimos de los almuerzos de la gente se veía bien. Probablemente el mayor problema como forastero son todos los sofás. Tuvimos la suerte de estar en una mesa. Aquellos que estaban en los sofás luchaban por comer alimentos, especialmente sopa... teniendo que inclinarse hacia las mesas. Por lo demás bien.

We had a beautiful two course meal and drinks. Food was delicious and service friendly and quick. We would highly recommend!

Excellent Indian meal and our favourite restaurant in Buckie. Good traditional Indian food and freshly cooked. Very reasonable and good value. Highly recommended to visit.

Visited last night with family for birthday celebration restaurant was fairly busy but served quite fast for a starter I had muscles in white wine sauce as I love seafood but very disappointing was completely tasteless and a lot of muscles weren't properly open so much so I couldn't eat it when the waiter arrived to clear the tables I told him the muscles were completely tasteless and he ignored me we then had a very long wait for our second course so much I had to ask how long it would take i ordered lamb tika masala and it was delicious 😋 the lamb was so tender I really thourghly enjoyed it Feel the service could improve as the long wait between courses and waiters should have picked up on my comment about the muscles and how much I had left on my plate

Only place that was open at half 1, doner was pretty dry and all in all ended up costing 9 quid after getting a pitiful amount of cheese added, can't say I'd recommend Good service at least

¡Un verdadero placer tener un menú vegano exclusivo con una gran variedad de opciones! Tuve una envoltura tostada de tofu, hummus y verduras y el amable personal le preparó a mi esposo no vegano una tostada de queso normal, que era una solicitud fuera del menú. Muy buena comida y excelente ubicación.

What has happened here?? This was our go too curry takeaway and tonight was an absolute let down! The tikka masala had no taste and it was very pale looking and the korma had no taste at all! The rice was freezing cold basically the whole meal went in the bin. You have lost a long term customer. If you don't want to work Ramadan then close because you made that excuse on somebody's else review who was also a long term customer who you have lost.
